The Dynapro HP2 is Hankook's Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season tire developed for the drivers of crossovers, sport utility vehicles and prestigious pickups looking for year-round, on-road capabilities. Designed to combine good ride comfort, long wear and low rolling resistance to promote vehicle fuel economy, Dynapro HP2 tires also deliver all-season traction in dry, wet and wintry conditions, even in light snow.

Dynapro HP2 tires feature an all-season silica enhanced tread compound molded into a symmetric design that blends wet, dry and wintertime traction. Hankook's 3D Shoulder Block technology and radially oriented sipes that lock together for greater tread block stiffness improve dry road handling, while a continuous center rib promotes steering control and feedback. Four wide circumferential grooves help channel water from under the tire's footprint to resist hydroplaning and maintain wet traction. Engineered siping in every tread block adds hundreds of biting edges to help generate snow traction.

The tire's internal structure includes two wide steel belts reinforced with spirally wound jointless nylon cord to combine high-speed durability with ride uniformity. A high-density polyester casing blends steering response with ride comfort.

Very poor steering response. I will admit these tires are pretty decent in wet conditions though. I got hit by a pretty serious rain storm on Rt. 87 the other day and my speed was limited by my wipers ability to get the rain off the windshield, so... lots of rain. But I never felt a lack of traction or even a hint of hydroplaning. With that said, these tires are terrible at speed on the highway. You'll feel every gust of wind or passing car because the sidewalls have no stability/rigidity. Full disclosure, I've been daily driving a 350z with track tires for the past 6 years, so I might be more critical as far as steering response and turning traction goes. The long and short is, I drive fairly aggressively and these tires feel like marshmellows. If you're ok with that, swell, but I'll be looking to get rid of these tires as soon as possible.

...The dry traction, turn-in and braking is excellent and very sporty, and the wet and snow traction has been very impressive, at least as good if not better than the OEM Bridgestone's...

I recently purchased a full set of Hankook Dynapro HP2 tires to replace the OEM Bridgestone Dueler's on our 2013 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum in 20" P235/55R20. The OEM tires lasted about 30,000 miles with regular rotation ever 7,500 miles. I was a little skeptical about the Dynapro HP2 but have to say, after driving them in the dry, rain and in some light New Jersey snow (about 1-3") they perform very well and are perhaps the best value on the market for a replacement SUV tire. The road noise is low, the dry traction, turn-in and braking is excellent and very sporty, and the wet and snow traction has been very impressive, at least as good if not better than the OEM Bridgestone's. They are a "green" all-season silica tire and seem to have a bit less rolling resistance and I am getting maybe 1-2 MPG better gas mileage since replacing the rubber. Tire Rack shipped them to my local NTB the install was simple and painless. They are stable and have no shakes at highway speeds (tested by me up to 85 MPH). And the look good on the car to boot! I was originally planning to go with the Pirelli Scorpion Verde or upgrade to the Michelin Latitude Tour HP's for a few hundred bucks more a set, but given that this SUV is a lease and will be going back in about a year cost and value were big factors. If you are searching for a very good set of replacement SUV tires, look no further than the Hankook Dynapro HP2.

...then the in rain these tires stuck like glue to the heavy rain soaked roads! I slowed down from 75 MPH to about 65 and never did they hydroplane or slip.

I bought these tires after doing a couple of weeks research, I wanted a tire that was Quiet, handled well and rode smooth. now that I have a few miles on them I am so very pleased and very glad I purchased them! after they were installed I put on about 200 miles on them before We took a 800 mile round trip from Long beach Ca. to Mesa AZ. it was sunny and clear for the beginning of the trip then, mom nature opened up with a thunder storm,on the dry road they were great in all respects then the in rain these tires stuck like glue to the heavy rain soaked roads! I slowed down from 75 MPH to about 65 and never did they hydroplane or slip.as for the MPG it stayed the same in the first part of the trip,on the return trip it improved over what the old tires gave me.from 25MPG up to 27.5MPG
I want to say I am a Car guy and know performance and tires very well. these Hankook tires provide everything as advertised,
I would say to anyone who thinks you cannot get the best tires unless you buy brand X and pay the very high price for tires. think again cause I have been there and was disappointed, also I spent alot of money testing tires on my SUV and family full size sedan.
FYI I do not work for, or am paid to say this about these Hankook Tires.

These tires seem to be wearing out quickly and hankook doesn't stand behind them cause they came on the car brand new. I will say they surprised the crap out of me on black Friday we got 27 inches of snow and they went thru it very well. They are ok in the rain but not great. Must be a soft compound only have 6000 miles on car and already down 2/32. Hankook admitted they are not a great tire and won't help any cause they are a cheaper grade tire for new cars to keep price down. So buyer beware of that.

Tires were OEM for my new 2021 Nissan Rogue. Great ride quality and very quiet tire. My thing is smooth and quiet and these deliver dare I say almost as good as the Goodyear Comfortreads that I had on my '17 Altima. Only had a few months driving in snow but so far no issues. I'm impressed by these tires, my first South Korean tire and I'd consider again.

I have these on my Ford Edge, they were the OE tire, but I purchased them again after the original set wore out. I`m very diligent about correct pressure , rotations and alignments. At 22k, I`m guessing I will get about 40k out of this set. They are quiet and comfortable tires with a good feel back at the steering wheel.

Started using this tire on a 2012 Honda Pilot EX-L in Sept'17. The 5,000 miles that I have driven on them have been the most comfortable, smooth, and quiet ride that I have ever experienced in my 30 plus years of driving experience. I used the OE Michelin Primacy tires for the first 3 years, then, bought a 2nd set of Primacys for the first replacement and was never even 75% satisfied with the performance. Switched to the Hankook Dynapro HP2s and will not use anything else. The first 5,000 miles have been through the Pittsburgh fall and winter seasons. I am very much looking forward to switching to these tires on my 2017 Honda CRV Touring.

...Treadwear: above average rating - this exceeded my expectations for an OEM tire. At 43,000 miles I could likely get another 5k+ if I wanted to - I just don't want to risk accidents with my kids riding in the car daily and us having heavy Florida rains. Definitely outperformed some continental dws tires I had on previous vehicle that lasted 20K < -- terrible tire to boot...

These tires came with the vehicle (purchased new). Overall I would say they have been the best of the OEM tires I've experienced.
I live in Florida, so I can only comment on wet and dry traction as follows:
Dry - above average rating - keeps grip and behaves quite well at highway speeds (lane changing, sudden braking for florida drivers). Speeds above 75 were where it began tapering, but that could easily be the vehicle not the tire.
Wet - average rating - as long as the vehicle was driven prudently for the conditions there were no issues to be had. Safe braking and kept traction when accelerating at a normal rate. This is not a performance tire by any means, so if you push it in a corner, accelerate hard, etc - you will find it does not keep up - in the wet.
Treadwear: above average rating - this exceeded my expectations for an OEM tire. At 43,000 miles I could likely get another 5k+ if I wanted to - I just don't want to risk accidents with my kids riding in the car daily and us having heavy Florida rains. Definitely outperformed some continental dws tires I had on previous vehicle that lasted 20K <-- terrible tire to boot.
Snow *my opinion*: As a former upstate New Yorker, I would not even think of having these on the vehicle during the winter. The tread pattern would simply not be suited. They would pack with snow quickly and not have any biting edges for grip. Think racing slicks.
I am a strong believer in designated snow tires, many average entry all-season tires just simply aren't up for the task.

If you are looking for a safe, average to above average performing tire for non-snow climates I would recommend this tire.

This car has 247,000 miles on it and has had 6 sets of tires including the factory Goodyear Eagle RSA. These tires are by far the best all around tire I have had on this car. I only buy top brand tires as I drive for a living and am always looking for maximum mileage from a tire. All previous sets made 40,000 miles but no more than that. These tires just turned 52000 miles and will get me until the end of the year and will have the advertised 65000 + miles on them. Unheard of. I will be ordering another set before the snow flies. I highly recommend these tires. Best tire for the money in my experience.
