The purchase is balanced in what i need, although it's not an all weather tire it does handle very well in allot of areas, my car is front heavy due to the electric motor, my tires up front wear so much faster... when I first got them cornering is amazing and very quiet... let's just say they are great tired that I love to buy very often when needed...

I can see why Ford chose this as standard equipment, so far it seems very comfortable, quiet, and provides good traction in dry conditions...

I recently bought a used '17 fiesta with 36k mi and these are the factory tires. The tires had 2/32 tread left so I had them replaced with the same tire, being the OEM option. I have taken this tire on 2 road trips as well as lots of city driving/commuting in rain and dry conditions.

I personally don't expect much from this tire being a small size (185 60 r15) and I can say that in my experience it has been a great performer. I have owned several vehicle with anything from all terrain to ultra high performance summer tires and many touring/all season tires. I personally have yet to experience any issues with these but given the other reviews on here I might consider running a different tire next purchase. Living in CA, I don't have to drive in snow regularly and when I do go to the mountains I usually take my truck which has all terrain tires with 3pmsf rating, however I was hoping to have the option of taking the fiesta, and expected it given that this is an all season. Given the reviews, that might not happen...

I can see why Ford chose this as standard equipment, so far it seems very comfortable, quiet, and provides good traction in wet and dry conditions. I've even done some dirt driving with them. We'll see if this is the tire I continue to run in the future.

bad traction with little rain/wet. tire wear inexcusable.do not ave 31000 miles on new sonata and tires need to be replaced for inspection. noticed about 1 1/2 years ago wear was not thought to be good. suspected low mileage that was not anticipated. just didn't think they looked as though they would last very long. Can't say the ride has been enjoyable either.

...it is dangerous to drive in light snow on slight uphills. the tires offer no grip or traction...

since this tire is advertised as an all-season tire, i have to give this tire an unacceptable rating. perhaps it is because of the size and weight of my car (2016 mini cooper hardtop 4dr base model with 15" wheels), but this tire is supposed to be approved by bmw/mini - it was the original standard equipment that came with my new car purchase. it is dangerous to drive in light snow on slight uphills. the tires offer no grip or traction. these are acceptable for warm weather months; i do not have experience with extreme rain, so i cannot comment on wet performance. i switch to michelin x-ice for each winter, and those are much better (as expected) for the cold months.

...While the tires performed good in dry conditions they are dangerous on snow. Anything you do in the snow is bad with these tires. These tires are so bad that my front wheel drive mini van does exceedingly better in the snow than these tire on my all-wheel-drive FLEX!...

Ford put these tires on the vehicle from the factory. My ford flex is limited, all-wheel-drive model with eco-boost engine. I am guessing they used an ultra high-performance tire because of the engine size. While the tires performed good in dry conditions they are dangerous on snow. Anything you do in the snow is bad with these tires. These tires are so bad that my front wheel drive mini van does exceedingly better in the snow than these tire on my all-wheel-drive FLEX! I am not sure why Ford even put these tires on this vehicle. If you drive in only dry or moist conditions without the chance for snow, these tire would be fair (treadwear not great). If there is even a hint of a possibility that you may see snow or slush, avoid these tires like COVID! They should be summer tires. They are dangerous in the snow.

These were stock tires that came with my 2015 Explorer Sport. Not too bad traction and mobility for dry summer driving conditions initially, but then winter hit. Extremely horrific performance in any amount of water, snow or ice. Most unimpressive tires I have ever used in all my years of driving. You call this an all season tire? Tires wore quickly and unevenly. Run the other way if you are considering this tire. Can't wait until my next pair of tires. It will be such a dramatic improvement over this trashy piece of rubber.

...On dry traction it is acceptable with some amount of road noise but it grips decently and ride is comfortable...

This tire came standard on my Kia K900. It is downright dangerous in snow. On a recent trip to Canada in winter I was slip sliding all the way. In fact at one point in upper Michigan I almost went headlong into another car. Fortunately i was able to steer myself through a maze of cars by switching lanes till i stopped. This is why i feel compelled to warn others to watch out on snow and ice. On dry traction it is acceptable with some amount of road noise but it grips decently and ride is comfortable. There is also one problem i noticed. If i keep factory recommended tire pressure it develops a flat that causes vibration when cold but goes away when tires get rolling for some time. The workaround is to increase tire pressure 2 points to 34 psi after which the problem is solved quite a bit.

...It is sad as they are a very quiet tire and do handle well in dry conditions...

I bought this car last week used for the dealership with only 7,500 miles on it. I was very happy with my ride. . . until it snowed! These tires absolutely are not made for any snow. Even with just the slush on the road and a slight incline at the traffic light, I get stuck. The slide around even in light snow road conditions. I would keep them for summer driving only, but will have to see how they do when it is raining hard. It is winter here now and I do not have great hopes that they will be any better in a hard rain. It is sad as they are a very quiet tire and do handle well in dry conditions. Living in Minnesota, I need a tire better equipped to handle our challenging road conditions.

...Even so, at 15k miles which are mostly highway 55-75mph there is ONLY 5/32 - 6/32 OF TREAD LEFT. This is the fastest wearing set of tires I've ever owned. My Mustang tires lasted longer, and it's not like I'm driving Ken Block's Fiesta drifting around corners...

These tires came factory installed on my 2018 Ford Fiesta SE. For a highway tire in dry conditions they're just ok; they ride decent and they're loud but I get it, it's a cheap econobox car with little sound deadening.

None of mine are showing any defects like others have reported, and are kept at recommended pressure and rotated every 5k miles. Even so, at 15k miles which are mostly highway 55-75mph there is ONLY 5/32 - 6/32 OF TREAD LEFT. This is the fastest wearing set of tires I've ever owned. I have 27K miles on the tires, and they are down to 4/32' on all of them... These seem to wear quickly, but the real issue is the wet performance.

I made an account JUST to review this tire.

These Optimo H426's came as factory on my 2016 Fiesta. Here are my concerns:

1. Wet performance is TERRIBLE. I accidentally spin the tires when the roads are damp - frequently. I'm not gunning it, and this car isn't exactly a powerhouse. I haven't had a chance to drive them in the snow, but I wouldn't want to.

2. I have 27K miles on the tires, and they are down to 4/32' on all of them. I check my pressures regularly and keep them a tad above the door sticker. 38 PSI.

These seem to wear quickly, but the real issue is the wet performance.

These tires were new, spent more than I should've at a local tire shop, after 13,000 miles they completely went to ----! Worst tires I have owned. I went over to discount tires and they gave me credit and they treated me better and my next set of tires lasted 70K before switching them out. I'll never buy Those junk worthless tires ever again, it's like the welfare tire of the industry, just complete junk!
