The Ventus V2 concept2 (H457) is Hankook's High Performance All-Season tire developed for the drivers of mid-level sports cars, sports coupes and performance sedans looking for dynamic styling and all-season performance. Designed to combine a cutting-edge appearance with responsive performance, the Ventus V2 concept2 delivers all-season traction in dry, wet and wintry conditions, even in light snow.

Ventus V2 concept2 tires feature a high-grip, silica-enhanced tread compound to combine all-season traction with lower rolling resistance that promotes vehicle fuel economy. This compound is molded into a directional tread design featuring a continuous center rib flanked by interlocking intermediate blocks and notched shoulders to increase steering response and braking performance. Four wide circumferential grooves and a V-shaped tread pattern help drain water from under the contact patch to resist hydroplaning and enhance wet traction while shoulder block notches, 3D intermediate tread blocks and engineered sipes increase the number of biting edges to promote foul-weather traction.

The tire's internal structure features two wide steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped, high-density nylon to aid in maintaining footprint contact pressure to enhance overall cornering and handling performance. High-hardness bead fillers in the sidewalls promote handling and steering response.

These tires have been excellent so far. They’re very quiet on the road and offer strong traction, especially in wet conditions where the control feels solid and predictable. I switch to dedicated snow tires in the winter, so I can’t speak to their performance in heavy snow, but for the rest of the year they’ve been outstanding.

...I've never hydroplaned in them and it took some very fast cornering to finally make them lose grip in the rain...

Despite being so affordable these tires haven't let me down. I've never hydroplaned in them and it took some very fast cornering to finally make them lose grip in the rain.
My most recent "panic stop" from faster-than-I-should to zero really proved their worth and made me want to write a review. My car doesn't have ABS and not for a moment did I feel like I was losing control.
I haven't put many miles on them but I've had them for about 5 years now and they show every little signs of aging. No signs of tire rot and they're still a deep black rather than a fading black (I never use any tire dressing or anything like that. I don't even clean the sidewalls of my tires when I wash my car). However, while I do store my car outside, I always keep it under a car cover and there's no freezing temperatures in my climate.

...these tires have been trustworthy and comfortable in warm and stormy rainy days...

I was looking for a budget performance all season tire for my 23 WRX and these have not disappointed yet. Living in OKC, the weather can change at anytime during early spring, and these tires have been trustworthy and comfortable in warm and stormy rainy days. Tire Rack also made the tire and fitment size search easy. I'm not one to leave comments or reviews, but I've been pretty happy with my purchase and will be coming back in the future.

...I had the opportunity to Lap the C300 at Watkins Glen for charity immediately following a deluge of rain... the tread still provided a respectable slip resistance in the corners...

These are a great all rounder for any climate. I have these mounted on multiple cars in the driveway both an Audi A5 and a Mercedes C 300 Sport 4matic. The 500 treadwear rating provides excellent longevity and the 6 out of 10 stiffness of the sidewall provides very crisp turn in. The ultimate grip is of course compromised compared to a high performance tire but is so far in my experience one of the best in it's class. Snow? No problem again top of its class. I had the opportunity to Lap the C300 at Watkins Glen for charity immediately following a deluge of rain. While traveling above highway speeds aquaplaning was minimal and the tread still provided a respectable slip resistance in the corners. Watch out for that curb paint though its worse than Ice. Overall these are great tires and I will replace them with another set without reservation.

...Solid performance without any harshness... Ride quality is very good and they are very quiet (albeit, they are still relatively new so I can't rate the noise as they get older).

Good wet and dry weather tire. Solid performance without any harshness. Dry grip is good. When taken to the limit, they let-go progressively and gently. Ride quality is very good and they are very quiet (albeit, they are still relatively new so I can't rate the noise as they get older).

I thought it would be no problem for these tires because they SHOULD have more wet traction considering they are all seasons instead of semi-slicks. I was very wrong and when I turned in the car kept going forward, I almost hit a curb and barely missed by bringing the wheel back to center and trying to edge the car away using the minimal grip that I had...

I only have these tires because they came on the wheels that I bought on fb marketplace (the tires were less than a month old when I got them btw not worn). I thought they would be ok for the time being but after two days of driving on them I ordered a new, different, set of tires. If you have a car with 90 whp and want to feel like you have 800+ whp to the rear wheels, these are the tires for you. In slightly wet condition (about 2 hours after some rain at night) these tires lost traction in my 1990 mazda miata (1.6l so the slower one too) on a freeway on ramp going straight. I was in third gear, was at less than half throttle at 3k rpm trying to gain speed to get onto the highway and these things started to spin. I wasn't even trying to push it. Then another time in the rain I was driving on a freeway off ramp that I usually take at about ~30 mph in my 200tw rt660s in similar condition. I thought it would be no problem for these tires because they SHOULD have more wet traction considering they are all seasons instead of semi-slicks. I was very wrong and when I turned in the car kept going forward, I almost hit a curb and barely missed by bringing the wheel back to center and trying to edge the car away using the minimal grip that I had. Even in the dry the car feels floaty and unbalanced. I know this isn't an issue with the suspension because my previous set of tires were rt660s and the car felt planted. My car has never felt more floaty before these tires. I have done 100+ in the rain on other tires and they felt way more planted than these did going less than 65. I would only recommend these tires to someone I want to see die in a gruesome hydro-planing accident. This review may seem harsh, but it would be rude to you as the consumer to not give my full uncensored opinion on these. Please consider better offerings from Hankook.

These "All Season" tires are appalling in any kind of snow or icy conditions. I had to check multiple times to ensure they didn't accidentally install summer tires... However it was the winter performance that really surprised me in a bad way. It doesn't take much snow for these tires to start spinning. It struggles to drive up the slight incline of my driveway unless it's shoveled clean. I have very little confidence driving them with snow or slush on the roads.

Wet performance is also very average especially when accelerating out of a corner, they just struggle to grip the road. However it was the winter performance that really surprised me in a bad way.
