The Crugen HT51 is Kumho's Highway All-Season tire developed for drivers of light-duty pickups, vans, crossovers and sport utility vehicles looking for durability, a comfortable ride and all-season capability, including light snow traction. The Crugen HT51 is an all-weather tire that meets industry severe snow service requirements for the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol alongside its all-season performance.
The Crugen HT51 utilizes an all-season tread compound molded into an asymmetric tread design with an optimized geometric block layout for maximum treadlife. The five-rib tread design features a stiff center block design for improved straight-line stability and enhanced dry traction. Four wide, circumferential zigzag grooves create a vortex effect to enhance water flow-through, increasing hydroplaning resistance, while 3D zigzag sipes provide the biting edges necessary for light snow traction.
Beginning in the 13th week of 2017, all Crugen HT51 tires manufactured are branded with the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol, indicating they are severe snow service rated. Tires manufactured before this date may not bear the 3PMSF symbol, but all Crugen HT51 tires meet the standards required for severe snow service rating.
The tire’s internal structure consists of a two-ply polyester cord body for enhanced ride quality and improved strength. Two wide steel belts sit on top of the casing and are reinforced by two spirally-wrapped nylon cord caps, enhancing handling, durability and stability at highway speeds.
Note: While non-winter tires featuring the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol may provide additional longitudinal snow traction beyond what all-season (M+S) tires not bearing the symbol can deliver, they do not match the capability of a true winter tire in all adverse weather conditions.

...Handles great in snow unless it's excessively deep (over 6") even after all these years; my road is often poorly plowed but I never had a problem as long as it's packed down somewhat.
50K miles after 5 years, still had 6/32" left, but in the last year I've had a couple of punctures and finally had one that was unrepairable (too close to sidewall). Could have gotten at least another year or two out of these otherwise. Handles great in snow unless it's excessively deep (over 6") even after all these years; my road is often poorly plowed but I never had a problem as long as it's packed down somewhat.

...Quiet, good grip, good in pretty much every condition I've had them in.
Bought these on a sale four and a half years ago, didn't have a clue if they would be good tires or not, but at $100 per corner I took a chance. Very impressed. Narrower/taller than the stock tires, steering response is SLIGHTLY slower, but this ain't a Miata. At 40k+, there is still a lot of tread left. I'll probably replace them Fall of this year before the snow hits the Cascades. Quiet, good grip, good in pretty much every condition I've had them in.

These are my second set of these exact tires in 8 years.. and again I'm not disappointed one bit. So much so that I'll be looking for them again when I replace this set[ providing i still have this vehicle] or they come sized to fit its replacement. They handle great and are properly quiet..

...The road noise is almost non-existent, grip and handling is fabulous!...
Love, Love, Love these tires! This is my second set after many miles on the first. The road noise is almost non-existent, grip and handling is fabulous! I live in snow country, they get me through just fine. I don't off road with my truck so can't help there. If you want a great, quiet tire on highway and city, minimal gravel roads and get through the snow - these are it.
