Kumho  Majesty 9 Solus TA91

Excellent performace tire on my 2017 Toyota Camry XLE. The tires handles and drives with total control in dry and wet roads.
This will be the second time i buy these tires
and the only negative is they only lasted 25000 miles. I will keep buying them even thought they did no last the 45000 miles advertise.

I love my car. 178000 miles. But it eats tires. I’ve had my car for 10 years. I’m on the seventh set of tires before buying the Khumo. The most mileage I ever got out of a set of tires was 23,000 miles, with the Khumo Majesty I have gotten 40,000 miles. Very very good for my car. They ride very comfortably. They have great dry and wet traction and I have enjoyed having these on my car.

Tires drive much better than expected, quiet, stable, great traction wet or snow. Would definitely buy again.

Tirerack install services were excellent. Installer cancelled and rescheduled the appointment for install but was on time, courteous, and professional for the install on the new date.

Can recommend both the tires and the installer.

Great tire, I live in Western WA and we just had a mix of rain snow and ice over the past week. these tires griped in all 3 just better than some tires grip dry. They do have some extra road noise but that is to be expected on a lower profile tire.

Only complaint is stiff nature of the tire at low Temps. I live in WI and while all tires are firm at lower Temps these take excessive time to warm up. However traction ride and noise under most conditions are excellent. Grip good. I'd rate this as a stand out value.

Vehicle is a sub compact SUV 2021 Kia Seltos SX AWD 1.6L 4cyl Turbo.
The tire is affordable and looks above its class.

The tire gives the Kia Seltos a good comfortable sure footed ride with one exception is when going fast around a exit ramp that has those large multiple expansion joints and it gets a little uneasy or jittery but still controllable. Other than that it is quiet, has very good dry and wet road handling and stops the the Seltos from 60 to 0 in 120' on dry pavement.

It is not a performance tire but a very good touring / Highway All-Season tire. I wish I could give you some feedback about its snow performance but got the tires just after the last snow of the year here in Ohio. The tire is manufactured in Korea.

I went with a slightly wider tire than the stock VW size; 225/45R19’s are very limited in stock and very expensive. With the 245/40R19, I’ve noticed better traction and handling. The tires are very quiet and I still average 35mpg on the highway-not bad for an all wheel drive suv!

Immediately recognized the quiet ride. I was especially looking for low road noise in my EV, these did not disappoint . Ride was smooth and comfortable too. Dry traction was very good .

No experience with wet traction yet . First 500 miles have been excellent

So far so good. Tire noise in minimal, nice riding tire and they seem to wear evenly.

The TA91s are excellent Grand Touring tires and an exceptional value. Stand out characteristics are extremely low noise and very high comfort that gives a refined but still composed ride. I cannot speak to wet or snow, but in dry conditions, highway driving is confident and stable, and city driving is controlled and relaxed. Steering is easy and handling is responsive.

My previous tires were the Continental ExtremeContact DW summer tires. Due to compound and tread pattern differences, the TA91s do not have the same level of raw grip and precise steering as a summer tire. If you prioritize taut and sporty, you should probably get UHP category tires instead. However, if you want good performance, great value and exceptionally low NVH, these tires would be perfect.

I run them 1-2 psi above door jamb sticker; something anyone can experiment with to taste.

So far I’ve driven about 5k miles on these tires, and I have to say that I am very pleased and impressed on how quiet and comfortable these tires ride, they totally changed how my Mercedes’ rides very smooth and quiet. For the price I will most likely buy again and recommend to anyone. They also perform well on the wet, haven’t had them ion the snow yet. They seem to be wearing evenly and not too fast but only had them for 5k miles. I do noticed if the car sits they get flat spotted but once you get on the road and up to temperature they get quiet and smooth. I was going to buy Michelins but I decided to give these a try based on the reviews and of course the price, and I have to say I’m happy with my purchase.

This is my 2nd set of these tires on this car & are by far the best tires for the price of any tires I have ever purchased. I put 50,000 miles on the first set & they still had alot of tread left when I replaced them with the current set. The treadlife is the main reason I purchased the 2nd set, but the performance is a big factor as well! They are GREAT on wet roads. I have had ZERO problems with these tires & will continue using them as long as they are available. I have purchased them for use on another family car also.

Price seemed fair, delivery was unbelievably fast( one day),and the tire appears to have a solid looking tread. I would definitely consider purchasing tires from Tire Rack again.
The installing dealer was fair, quick in balancing and installing my new tires. Two weeks after having the tires installed, we traveled 1,000 miles and had no issues with the tires, in fact, had driven through a lot of heavy rain on an interstate.
