Most customers rate dry traction highly with scores of 7-10, highlighting confident grip and responsive handling. Some variability exists, but the KH25 excels in its Grand Touring All-Season role.

...The dry condition performance is decent though. So if you run no risk of being caught in snow or heavy rain they will suffice.
Just moved out of an 06 WRX with the Continental ExtremeContact DW's (great tire BTW) recently put on it. I know I am a little biased from moving from the AWD to FWD but the overall quality of these "all-season" tires is awful. I will be buying a new set ALREADY! The dry condition performance is decent though. So if you run no risk of being caught in snow or heavy rain they will suffice.

...Performance on dry pavement seems as good as any. They feel a bit hard on dry pavement, but perform pretty well...
These tires came on my 2013 Hyundai Sonata Limited. I've put 25,000 miles on them so far. Wear seems okay. Road noise seems average (not the best). Hydroplaning resistance seems average at best. TERRIBLE in snow/ice. Performance on dry pavement seems as good as any. They "feel" a bit "hard" on dry pavement, but perform pretty well. I'll hope that I survive the winters, then buy different tires when these wear out.

...I have to admit that I really like the responsiveness of these tires and dry traction is very good...
This tire came on my sonata...I still have less than 10,000 fairly light miles on the tires and they're already close to the danger zone. They're worthless in almost any amount of snow/ice. Overall I'm very disappointed in this tire and would STRONGLY urge readers to go another route.

Wet traction receives mixed scores, with many ratings between 0-6. Customers report slippery performance, hydroplaning concerns, and a tendency to slide on wet roads, indicating mediocre wet traction for an all-season tire.

Tires "howled" from day 1. I drive highway 5 days a wk 75 miles round trip and do not trust these in any type of water. Being in S. Florida that's bad news. If it rains, I won't even get on the highway. Tread went down almost immediately and leveled off to "bad" Extensive research has me going to Continental PureContact w/EcoPlus Tech or Bridgestone Turnaza Serenity Plus (yes I know the plus is for snow and unnecessary in Fl, but the tread report is much better on this one for some reason. Bottom line: The Kumho's reviewed are NOT made for: rain/wet/hydroplane...anything to do with "moisture." If there's condensation, don't take'em out!!

No matter what the ratings say, these are summer only tires. Heavy rain or any kind of cold precipitation, and welcome to the skating rink. For a front wheel drive car to have a constant rear end pull to the left in weather is unacceptable. I will be getting new tires soon.

...Wet performance is poor and they seem easy to hydroplane...
Dry weather performance is just O.K. My automatic Ford Fiesta will easily spin the tires. Wet performance is poor and they seem easy to hydroplane. Ice and snow performance is horrible. Tread wear also is not too good. On the plus side, they are quiet and seem to ride alright. I would definitely spend the extra money for a good set of Michelin MXV4's which I had on my last car. They had very good wet and dry performance and quite good on snow and ice in Michigan winters.

Winter traction scores for the Kumho Solus KH25 are disappointing, with many ratings between 0-5. Customers report slippery in snow, loss of traction on ice, and unstable handling. Despite its all-season classification, winter performance is unacceptable.

These tires are deadly. Any snow fall and the driver loses all traction and control even going 5 mph. At 5 mph you can easily drive off the road. You're better off with bald tires on ice than these tires. I bought a brand new car and during the 1st snow fall thought it was me. 2nd snow fall and having to drive around to find a road without an incline so I could get to work, I knew it was not me. No traction to stop - go through red lights- car stop when no forward momentum. Possibly deadly. Surprised they are even allowed to be sold.

This is my first and last winter with these tires. by far the worst tires I have ever had. ABS kicks in every time you touch the breaks in the snow. they have no grip in the snow 1/2" of snow and you can feel the front end slipping.

Mixed comfort ratings with numerous low scores (0-6) and frequent complaints of harsh ride, unbearable road noise, and uncomfortable experience. While some give 9s/10s, widespread dissatisfaction highlights poor ride quality and loud performance in this Grand Touring All-Season tire.
December 24, 2011
...Tires are very noisy. Ride quality is only average, some harsh bumps really get transmitted to the suspension...
OEM tire on my 2011 Sonata GLS. Tires have 22,500 on them and all four have 6/32" tread depth remaining according to the Hyundai dealer. Should be good for another 10,000 miles at the most. Tires are very noisy. Traction control kicks in when accelerating on wet pavement. Ride quality is only average, some harsh bumps really get transmitted to the suspension. Steering response is decent, and the tires hold corners well. Snow traction is only fair. Snow over 5" can get very dicey as the tires scramble for traction. Starting in 2nd gear is a must with these tires in deeper snow. Light snow (1"-3") is a little better but not 100% confidence inspiring. No all-season tire will be effective on ice, and these are no exception. If the roads are icy, stay home. When these tires need replacing I will be choosing something else. Nothing against Kumho, but will most likely stay away from the Solus line of tires. Would be willing to try the Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum in the OEM size.

Hate these tires! Have a little over 20K miles on my '13 kia optima EX and they have already worn out. Given the road conditions aren't ideal here, but anything eats them up. The ride is very bad and they throw aweful road noise. Will not be buying again! I'll be sticking to the continentals I had on my last car.

Treadwear ratings show concerning inconsistency, with many scoring 0-5 and reports of rapid wear. Some customers had to replace early, though a few gave 9s/10s.

...Tread wear is not good, had to change these tires out at 28,000 miles...
Worst tires you can possibly use in snow/ice. Does not have any traction and the car won't come to stop, every time you press brakes ABS kicks inn and the car will just slide. Trend wear is not good either, had to change these tires out at 28,000 miles. Went with continental pure contact and they are much better in snow. Hyundai, start using better tires in your cars.

These tires came stock on my 2011 Hyundai Accent sport hatch, and even though I babied it and rarely ever exceeded 65mph on highway, 40 everywhere else, they were worn down to wearbars with less than 20k miles. Contacted Kumho, they didnt even return messages or try to help. They are also completely useless in snow or ice or even heavy rain. Only good thing is they are quiet and decent in dry warm weather. Unless dirt cheap, find something better.

Great for the first 12000. After that noise and wear issues. Rotated and balanced on par with driving amount.
They are wearing as if it needs an alingment, however the dealership said it was within specs. They can't say
Why the tires are wearing this way. Time for an upgrade.
