Bridgestone  Ecopia H/L 422 Plus

This is my second set of these and once again on my way to 60,000 miles treadwear.
They handle very well in rainy - wet road conditions, the heavy front end diesel truck corners well on wet roads, even at high speeds. It takes a 2 - 3" deep puddle at 75 mph or faster to even get a little hydroplaning.

Stop looking, you found the tire you’ve been looking for! Our Expedition had Hancock Dynapro AT from factory. These tires are a night and day difference from them. The performance in snow and rain is incredible. The road noise is minimal. The comfort is great. Tread wear seems to be great so far. We are super happy and will probably be putting these on our truck when we need new tires, even though I’m happy with the ones we have on it. Buy ‘em, you’ll be happy you did!

From the moment I pulled on to the street, I noticed a HUGE difference in handling. It was amazing. Both wet and dry, strait or in a curve. These tires gave me the confidence, comfort and reaction that exceeded expectations.

I definitely prefer the LTS MS over the Defender LTX MS2. That being said, the MS2 did great on ice, packed snow, and snow up to approximately 4" deep. They are noticeably louder than the LTX MS, and do not perform as well in terms of hydroplaning resistance. That being said, they match the LTX MS in dirt traction and icy/packed snow.

Love these on my Escalade! Very responsive and quiet tire that's unbelievable when it comes to driving in the snow and rain! Perfect tire for a large SUV dealing with New England winters!

I purchased these tires when the original tires were replaced. We have put 100,000 miles on them,and they were excellent in the snow. We live in the upper peninsula of Michigan and drive in snow for almost 6 months of the year. I can't say enough good about these tires.

I just put these on my 04 Range Rover. Unfortunately Michelin stopped making the 255/60/19 size in this tire. So I had to go with the larger 255/65/19. The old Defender LTX M/S was a great tire. Two things I didn't like....The Sidwall was softer or built differently so the tire would look flat because it would bulge slightly. The tire still handled great and it wasn't mushy in a turn. The other issue was tread life. I drive faster than average but I definitely didn't get anywhere close to 70K. On to the new model....first off this tire is XL rated so no more belly in the tire. The sidewall is firmer and the tire has a better stance. You only notice it on choppy pavement...not bad just a trade off that I will take. The load range is higher too. I noticed the quicker steering immediately. Very nice...Turn in is a touch sharper but the other tire was really good to but this one is better. Both tires are super quiet. I would say this is as good or even a hair better. It has a really nice tone at speed. I took the tires up to the Snoqualmie Pass out of Seattle. Wet, Snowy, Ice in patches. My Rover has a decent 4X4 System so my experience maybe slightly different to you. I found the tires excellent!!! Even more confidence in the rain on crappy pavement traveling 65 to 85 mph. Not a slip, drift, movement just pure confidence. Deep snow, slush again excellent exceeding my expectations. Snow is like sand...Big knobby tires only allow you to push a little more snow. They ---- in the rain and they are noisy. I wouldn't look for a more aggressive tire unless I was the 75% of the time. I've taken the old model off road, gravel, mountain roads, logging roads, mud. This tire will be great in all but extreme traction scenarios. Dry grip is excellent. I have never broken the tire loose on dry pavement no matter how hard I pushed it. To drive any faster in a heavy Range Rover you would look like an idiot. So buy with confidence. If you can give me a better tire I would buy it!

I am really happy with these tires. They are very smooth, unbelievably quiet, and handle very respectably. The XL rating firms up the sidewall a tad, which makes for nice responsive steering feel and overall stability. They feel like a sporty tire. They are maybe a tiny bit more stiff than your average tire in the same 265/70R16 size, but I wouldn’t say they are actually harsh or stiff at all. Definitely not uncomfortable.

Traction has been good in all conditions. Aside from tame looks when comparing them to an all terrain, they have been a great choice for my truck, and I am very happy with them.

These tires are a big improvement over the cooper at I first purchased wet traction and ride comfort is much better with the Michelin tires

Buying experience with the tire rack was outstanding. Would definitely use this as my first option on future purchases. I pull an 11,000 pound travel trailer with my rake. These tires have been outstanding. Granted, I don't have experience with off-road or ice/snow traction. I simply wanted a quiet and comfortable ride. These tires nailed it. Again, buying experience with the tire rack was outstanding.

I have had these tires on my truck for 87000 miles now. They are still in good shape. I drive an F150 with almost 1500 lbs in the back since I got these tires. Regular tire rotations and balancing will keep these tires in excellent shape. I'm going to purchase these tires again within the next 30 days and will put these on all the trucks in my fleet

This tire is one size larger/wider than factory specs, but I was so disappointed with the standard tires wear. This tire has been holding up much better and tread wear has been solid. 3/32 of wear over 25k.

This is my third set of Michelin defender tires. The first two sets lasted 70000 and 62000 miles respectively. They are quiet and give a nice ride. I was also pleased by A-tech auto- who took delivery and installed the tires.
