The Latitude Tour HP is Michelin's Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season light truck tire developed for the drivers of premium crossover and sport utility vehicles. Used as Original Equipment by Acura, BMW, Lexus, Porsche and others, Latitude Tour HP tires are designed to combine comfort, handling and all-season traction, even in light snow.

The Latitude Tour HP features an all-season tread compound molded into a symmetric pattern that helps balance dry, wet and wintertime traction. Stable shoulder blocks and a continuous center rib boost responsiveness and highway stability, while wide circumferential grooves help resist hydroplaning and 2-D Active Sipes improve handling in rain and snow.

The tire's internal structure features twin steel belts reinforced with Michelin FAZ Technology (Filament At Zero degrees) that winds polyester and aramid/nylon cords spirally under the tread area to provide a stable feel and crisp steering, while polyester cord reinforced sidewalls enhance ride quality.

Note: While Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season light truck tires offer all-season versatility including traction in light snow, tire sizes featuring extremely wide tread widths may limit the traction this type of tire can provide in deep snow.

*Specific sizes featuring Green X technology are identified as such on the Sizes tab, as well as on the tire's Specs tab.

...in the worst of rain I couldn't break them even slightly loose...

The original set of Latitude Tours lasted 52,000 so when I saw these on special on Tire Rack I snagged a pair. I must say I am very pleased. These are the perfect tires for the 10-13 MDX. They are very quiet, have excellent traction in all weather and have fantastic steering response. Even in the worst of rain I couldn't break them even slightly loose. They mounted and balanced out perfectly and even with 8000+ miles I feel no balance issues which to me is a very big deal.

...Wet Traction? Actually, I think that this tires work better in Wet Roads than in Dry Roads...

I live in MA. I bought an MDX and these tires came with it. I looked up the reviews and was disappointed to see the bad reviews. But I gave it a chance Last 2 Winters and I am pleased to say that this Tires are awesome. No slips or loss of traction. I was pleasantly surprised. Together with the SH-AWD. This SUV became a Winter Warrior. Light Snow, Deep Snow, It does not fail. Wet Traction? Actually, I think that this tires work better in Wet Roads that Dry Roads. Looking forward the 15K mark.

I live in South Louisiana and we get torrential rainstorms. These tires have performed extremely well in slick conditions...

I am about to purchase my third set of these tires for my Q5. These were the OEM tires, and I could not be more pleased. When I first bought my car, I was driving about 35,000 miles per year, all highway. Now I drive mostly in town with some highway miles, but I am a very aggressive driver!

I live in South Louisiana and we get torrential rainstorms. These tires have always performed extremely well in slick conditions. I cannot comment on icy conditions as we just don't get that down here. Dry conditions are excellent, even when I'm in "sport mode" - my Audi feels like it is stuck to the road.

I don't get much road noise from them, but I really feel that is highly dependent on how well your car is insulated for sound. In any case, I have yet to find a tire with such *outstanding* tread wear. I got more than 50k miles on my first set, and I am nearing 70,000 with this set. I've even had a screw in the center of my front tire for two weeks while I order the new set and wait for my installation appointment - and no problems, only a very, very slow leak. Time to buy new ones again, but I don't mind - I will definitely purchase again.

...They have been super on ice snow combo popular in the Mid Atalntic area...

This is my 2nd set for the Latitude Tour HP. I upgraded the size, and have never looked back. They have been super on 3" of ice snow combo popular in the Mid Atalntic area. Wet traction has been superior. Dry braking is excellent, Road noise is so far reduced from the OF tire that I thought they were underinflated.
Life has been 50K+ with a combo of Hwy and city driving. Rotation at 5/9K keeps them in service a long time. I would recomend these to anyone looking for a all season tite that will handle anything 95% of SUVs are used for.

Replaced OEM Michelin Energy 4's after 45K miles. The Latitude Tour HP's give much better grip on wet roads and in snow. We just had a 20 inch snow fall and these tires were great over the OEM's. Road noise is only slightly higher than the Energy 4's. On dry pavement they handle well but do notice a little more lane tracking than with the OEM's. Would likely purchase again. How they perform over time will be the decision maker.

...20 inches of snow and no problem... they dont look too aggressive but i drove home in bumper deep snow and didnt even feel like i was even close to being stuck.

not too many replacement tires for the 18 in wheels on this jeep.goodyear forteras oem were a joke .love the tour hp .definetly one of the best tires ive used.20 inches of snow and no problem .blow the goodyear forteras away .alot of reviews are negative in the snow .these are not off road tires they are all seasons and perform way better than i expected.dry roadway handling is great .feels like a different car .no wear report yet .ive driven tractor trailers cross country for 25 years in all kinds of weather and the performance i get from this jeep and set of tires is amazing .pushing snow with my bumper and hardly spinning a wheel .have to force this thing to lose traction .great set of tires so far ,if they wear well it will be worth the money .they dont look too aggressive but i drove home in bumper deep snow and didnt even feel like i was even close to being stuck.also have owned a 4x4 since i got my license and this one is the best.first you need a vehicle that can handle the snow before you depend on tires to do it for you.get em you wont be sorry .

...The tires handled very well, low road noise, great dry traction, above average wet traction, and I would say average snow/ice traction...

This was the OEM tire that came with my 2011 Acura MDX off the lot. The tires handled very well, low road noise, great dry traction, above average wet traction, and I would say average snow/ice traction. I expected better performance. Noticeable step down in snow/ice performance from my prior vehicle, Chevy Trailblazer which had a more aggressive tire (Firestone Destination A/T) - though really not a fair comparison. The Lattitude definitely had a firm ride where you felt most cracks/bumps in the road. Overall I was pleased with the tire - 52,000 miles on an AWD vehicle is about all you can ask for, but couldn't bring myself to pay $300+/tire to replace them. I went with Toyo Versado CUV for about $160/tire. Only 2,000 miles on them but they seem very comparable and have gotten good reviews.

...Dry grip is very good. However, the chassis is better than these tires, as I can feel the tires beginning to lose grip before the chassis gives up. But the tires are predictable, and I can easily feel them approaching their limit.

Purchased this set after my OEM Pirelli Scorpion Verde became too noisy after 35,000 miles. The Michelin's are a better tire than the Pirellis ¿ less noisy, better grip, longer lasting. Still driving on the same commute route, the Michelin's. Tread wear is excellent. I think on wear alone they can last beyond 50,000 miles. Other factors ¿ noise, grip ¿ may cause me to replace them before that, but I'll need to wait and see.

Dry grip is very good. However, the chassis is better than than these tires, as I can feel the tires beginning to lose grip before the chassis "gives up". But the tires are predictable, and I can easily feel them approaching their limit.

...What I know is that this tires is very quiet and comfortable. Little soft on turns but still confident...

OEM for my MDX, It pairs pretty well with the SH-AWD. I am actually surprised that there is an OEM tire that works very good at everything. It is very good in DRY, WET and SNOW. Wife drove it in a blizzard and she came away impressed. Now I am not really sure if it is entirely because of the tires or just because the SH-AWD is a better system. What I know is that this tires is very quiet and comfortable. Little soft on turns but still confident. Now Winter conditions, Light to moderate snow it will plow through it with predictable slide from time to time. Have not driven it on heavy snow as of yet. Driven by my Brother in Law to NJ from Boston and he came away impressed of the Car's overall quiet and comfortable ride. Again, I cannot solely attribute it to the tires but also of the MDX's suspension. As I have said. This tire pairs pretty well with the MDX

...With 20k on them now, they've got about 6/32 left, which is about 50%, so I'm guessing they'll go 40k. Altho not fantastic, it's good - reasonable for the ride it offers...

These are an awesome balance of sport and comfort. Grip and steering combined with a smooth, quiet ride... the cherry-on-top is the improved MPG.

These tires are very quiet on all different types of pavement... as quiet as Energy MXV4+, which are also very quiet. The MPG is great! +2 MPG better than my snow tires, and easily +1 MPG better than others all-seasons (except Energy MXV4+, which actually got +1 MPG higher).

Steering response is quick but certainly is not a Pilot Sport (I drive on 55-series now, and the last time I used Pilot Sports they were 40-series which are rather stiff), but (dry) stability and predictability makes it an easy tire to drive moderately hard. Wet grip tho not as good as dry, is still good, but I feel slightly less confident.

So far, I have not had to have them rebalanced, they are still as quiet as day-one (as opposed to ContiTouringContact which started out moderately quiet but never as quiet as these, but w/ 17k on the Conti's they are noisy now, esp on the lighter colored pavement). Speaking of those Conti's... these Latitude's have far superior wet performance.

With 20k on them now, they've got about 6/32" left, which is about 50%, so I'm guessing they'll go 40k. Altho not fantastic, it's good - reasonable for the ride it offers.

I run snow tires and therefore have no basis for snow perf. review.

...They look great, wear exceptionally well (especially at high mileage limits), and provide unsurpassed safe handling...

I replaced a set of Continental run flat tires with these Michelins. I hated the Conti RFs. They road very hard, and wore unevenly, but I did get a ton of miles out of them. I've purchase numerous sets of Michelins over the years, and have always been very pleased. They look great, wear exceptionally well (especially at high mileage limits), and provide unsurpassed safe handling. I do a lot of highway driving, and these are the perfect tires for me. I do get the slightest bit of tire howl on certain surfaces, but I expect that to fade with a little more tire wear. Overall, they are very quiet and comfortable. I want to mention that I has the local Sears tire shop install the tires for me. They did a super job, accomodated my schedule, and communicated well. They even told me to order my tires from TireRack.com, as I'd get my best deal from Tire Rack, and have the tires shipped directly to Sears. So thanks to all involved!
