The Latitude Tour HP is Michelin's Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season light truck tire developed for the drivers of premium crossover and sport utility vehicles. Used as Original Equipment by Acura, BMW, Lexus, Porsche and others, Latitude Tour HP tires are designed to combine comfort, handling and all-season traction, even in light snow.
The Latitude Tour HP features an all-season tread compound molded into a symmetric pattern that helps balance dry, wet and wintertime traction. Stable shoulder blocks and a continuous center rib boost responsiveness and highway stability, while wide circumferential grooves help resist hydroplaning and 2-D Active Sipes improve handling in rain and snow.
The tire's internal structure features twin steel belts reinforced with Michelin FAZ Technology (Filament At Zero degrees) that winds polyester and aramid/nylon cords spirally under the tread area to provide a stable feel and crisp steering, while polyester cord reinforced sidewalls enhance ride quality.
Note: While Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season light truck tires offer all-season versatility including traction in light snow, tire sizes featuring extremely wide tread widths may limit the traction this type of tire can provide in deep snow.
*Specific sizes featuring Green X technology are identified as such on the Sizes tab, as well as on the tire's Specs tab.

Testing Eco-Focused CUV/SUV All-Season Tires in Real World Conditions (02:48)
Tires designed to be eco-friendly were initially offered to drivers of small hybrid or ultra-efficient cars. This trend evolved to include everyday passenger cars and has continued into the crossover/SUV market.
We compared several eco-friendly CUV/SUV tires to see how they drive in everyday conditions. Here are the results of our testing.
Feedback patterns show the Michelin Latitude Tour HP excels in comfort, with many ratings in the 8-10 range for smooth, quiet rides. Treadwear receives strong praise for longevity from most users, though some note rapid wear in certain conditions. Winter traction is generally reliable for light snow, though a few report reduced confidence in extreme cold. Wet performance shines with consistent 8-10 scores for grip and hydroplaning resistance. Dry traction stands out as a highlight, with near-perfect ratings for responsive handling. While most categories show excellent all-season capability, treadwear variability and occasional winter limitations suggest prioritizing typical crossover/SUV use over harsh conditions.

...Driving through a rain storm at very high speeds is smooth and predictable (when tread is new). Emergency Braking from 60mph to 10mph within 2.5 to 3 white lines on the highway (4,200lbs car). Can screech when cornering hard on wet roads (not recommended)...
*I don't have experience with other tires, so My Rating is based on my expectations of a All Season Tire and how it performs when I push it*
Dry: - Very smooth, quiet, great Grand Touring tire. - Great for Family Sedan / SUV, not intended for sporty driving. - Reaches cornering limit very predictably. - Handles very high speeds easily and predictably. - Emergency Braking from 60mph to 10mph within 2 white lines on the highway (4,200lbs car).
Wet: - Driving through a rain storm at very high speeds is smooth and predictable (when tread is new). - Emergency Braking from 60mph to 10mph within 2.5 to 3 white lines on the highway (4,200lbs car). - Can screech when cornering hard on wet roads (not recommended).
Snow: - Exceeds my expectations on wet snow, packed snow, powder. - Drove through the Appalachian Gap during a snow storm without problems (V6 with 4WD) - Un-tested on pure ice... I would expect great performance based on my experience with slick snowy conditions. - I recommend this tire for winter driving ONLY IF: 1) You are experienced with driving in snow and 2) If you have 4WD/AWD systems (for climbing hills and getting out of snow)... 3) Only drive in the City, and 4) You don't drive in snow all the time. - I would NOT recommend this tire for winter IF: 1) You only have FWD 2)If you're scared of driving in the snow, 3) You don't understand how to correct the constant shifts in traction through snow.
Summary: I know some reviews talk about increased road noise after a few years, but so far this tire has definitely exceeded my expectations for my ride (Intended as a weekend, grand touring, mountain / ski trip car)
I would highly recommend.

Very good tire. Excellent in dry and wet. Handles and rides very good in both. Too early to tell on treadwear. Slightly better than stock Michelin LTX's for ride and road noise. Snow traction is not great. Tire balls up in wet snow, but I rotate off in winter. Not terrible in snow, but really more of an excellent 3 season tire.

...in the worst of rain I couldn't break them even slightly loose...
The original set of Latitude Tours lasted 52,000 so when I saw these on special on Tire Rack I snagged a pair. I must say I am very pleased. These are the perfect tires for the 10-13 MDX. They are very quiet, have excellent traction in all weather and have fantastic steering response. Even in the worst of rain I couldn't break them even slightly loose. They mounted and balanced out perfectly and even with 8000+ miles I feel no balance issues which to me is a very big deal.

Most customers rate winter traction highly, with many scoring 9s and 10s for snow and deep snow performance. Ice traction sees solid 7-8 scores, showing reliable grip in typical winter conditions. A few lower ratings suggest occasional challenges in extreme ice scenarios.

...Excellent dry traction and very good traction in water/light snow. Deep snow it they have good traction...
Nice quiet tire. Excellent dry traction and very good traction in water/light snow. Deep snow it they have good traction. The ride on the highway is smooth and quiet. I cannot complain about their ability to handle my 4500lb vehicle in the weather of Northern Indiana. They don't handle the winter like am ice and snow tire, but they do a more than adequate job and I can leave them on year round. I would buy the tire again.

My replacement for the OEM Dunlop that started to get bald after 20k. Before they rename the tire latitude they were called cross terrain. Much better tire for noise and life. decent on New Jersey winter and snow. I would purchase these again or try something new but I would never buy Dunlops(OEM).

...The few times I needed them for snowy conditions they performed flawlessly. I was able to power out of a slushy (about 10) parking lot with no problems. Braking was good as well...
These tires came as original equipment. I found these tires to be an excellent tire for all around driving, much better than their rating indicates. They are smooth and quiet for long distance driving yet perform well around town. I never had any problems in either wet or dry conditions. The sidewalls are stiff enough for aggressive cornering but still soft enough for a comfortable ride. The few times I needed them for snowy conditions they performed flawlessly. I was able to power out of a slushy (about 10") parking lot with no problems. Braking was good as well. I live on a long steep road that doesn't't get plowed right away and could go go up or down with confidence. Living in the Blue Ridge Mountains, the roads are hilly and curvy so getting getting 58,000 miles was quite impressive. That also includes towing a motorcycle a couple hundred miles several times a year. The tires still had 10-15K left on them but I decided to replace them due to age - they were 7.5 years old. It was a hard choice but I decided to go with a set of Kumhos as they were much cheaper. If they don't work out I will definitely go back to Michelins.

...The tires handled very well, low road noise, great dry traction, above average wet traction, and I would say average snow/ice traction...
This was the OEM tire that came with my 2011 Acura MDX off the lot. The tires handled very well, low road noise, great dry traction, above average wet traction, and I would say average snow/ice traction. I expected better performance. Noticeable step down in snow/ice performance from my prior vehicle, Chevy Trailblazer which had a more aggressive tire (Firestone Destination A/T) - though really not a fair comparison. The Lattitude definitely had a firm ride where you felt most cracks/bumps in the road. Overall I was pleased with the tire - 52,000 miles on an AWD vehicle is about all you can ask for, but couldn't bring myself to pay $300+/tire to replace them. I went with Toyo Versado CUV for about $160/tire. Only 2,000 miles on them but they seem very comparable and have gotten good reviews.

After the lst 1,000 miles the HPs are more responsive, quieter, and more comfortable than the original equipment Bridgestones. They also seem to stick better in the dry. To date my experience in the wet is limited here in San Diego (and no experience in ice or snow). At this point I would not hesitate to buy another set. I have no regrets.

...Dry grip is very good. However, the chassis is better than these tires, as I can feel the tires beginning to lose grip before the chassis gives up. But the tires are predictable, and I can easily feel them approaching their limit.
Purchased this set after my OEM Pirelli Scorpion Verde became too noisy after 35,000 miles. The Michelin's are a better tire than the Pirellis ¿ less noisy, better grip, longer lasting. Still driving on the same commute route, the Michelin's. Tread wear is excellent. I think on wear alone they can last beyond 50,000 miles. Other factors ¿ noise, grip ¿ may cause me to replace them before that, but I'll need to wait and see.
Dry grip is very good. However, the chassis is better than than these tires, as I can feel the tires beginning to lose grip before the chassis "gives up". But the tires are predictable, and I can easily feel them approaching their limit.

This tire really help improve the ride I notice since when I test drive between ML350 & ML500 with 19 wheels. The ML350 seem more smooth & more quiet ride than ML500 with 19 wheels. When cornering the tires feel really secure for its size doesnt seem like you ride on 65 series tires. Feel smooth stable like car ride on highway. Great for California or if you dont really go off road.

...It is in my opinion, the smoothest riding tire in its class, better than the pirelli, conti, and advan...
I have 275/40r20, 315/35r20 tire sizes on my X5 with 20" staggered wheels. Before this all-season lattitude came out, I ran Diamaris in the summer and Michelin aplins in the winter on 18" wheels. These have enabled me to run one set because the tires are an all-season. At a treadwear of 440, they will most likely last me 30,000+, which is about doudle what I get out of the Diamaris. It is in my opinion, the smoothest riding tire in its class, better than the pirelli, conti, and advan. Plus, at 37 lbs., they are the lightest. I would highly recommend running 30 psi at all four tires, as the wider rears will wear in the middle due to being on a 10.5" wheel, instead of an 11" wide wheel which is recommended. This review is for a 2003 BMW X5 4.6is.

...Its smooth, quiet, and comfortable... The handling is spot on and the tires soak up the bumps and potholes around southeast michigan with ease...
This is probably one of the best tires I have ever had on any SUV. Its smooth, quiet, and comfortable. I had these on my 2010 Ml350 and they lasted 40k miles with good tire pressure and maintenance. I never had to rotate them and they wore evenly. Those who have early wear are due to poor tire pressures. The ML350 is a lot smoother and vibration free up to 80 plus mph on the highway and makes my ML350 bluetec with the airmatic suspension feel like a mercedes s class. The pirellis scorpion verde all seasons which were on the car before vibrated and made cupping noise and lasted only 20k with proper tire pressure and balancing. The Michelins are the hallmark of this tire category. The handling is spot on and the tires soak up the bumps and potholes around southeast michigan with ease. The gas mileage improved to 27-28 mph highway with the diesel compared to 24mpg-25 with the Pirellis. I eagerly await the snow since I know that these tires did well with my older 2010 Ml350. I highly recommend these tires!!!

Multiple problems with out of round and whatever make this tire not to pull sideway. Replaced 2 new tires with 4 new tires (based on warranty) because car was pulling even after high-speed balancing (Road Force) of all wheels. New set of 4 tires were having a pulling issue too, only by luck I did not replace all new 4 with another brand because I inverted front left with front right and pulling was almost gone...

...They look great, wear exceptionally well (especially at high mileage limits), and provide unsurpassed safe handling...
I replaced a set of Continental run flat tires with these Michelins. I hated the Conti RFs. They road very hard, and wore unevenly, but I did get a ton of miles out of them. I've purchase numerous sets of Michelins over the years, and have always been very pleased. They look great, wear exceptionally well (especially at high mileage limits), and provide unsurpassed safe handling. I do a lot of highway driving, and these are the perfect tires for me. I do get the slightest bit of tire howl on certain surfaces, but I expect that to fade with a little more tire wear. Overall, they are very quiet and comfortable. I want to mention that I has the local Sears tire shop install the tires for me. They did a super job, accomodated my schedule, and communicated well. They even told me to order my tires from TireRack.com, as I'd get my best deal from Tire Rack, and have the tires shipped directly to Sears. So thanks to all involved!
