The Latitude Tour is Michelin's Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season light truck tire developed for the drivers of crossovers, sport utility vehicles and light duty pickups looking to combine comfort, wear and fuel efficiency. Most Latitude Tour tires meet Michelin's Green X standards for long tread life, good wet traction and low rolling resistance, as well as provide year-round traction, including in light snow.
Latitude Tour tires use a silica-based tread compound molded into a symmetric tread design optimized with Michelin's MaxTouch Construction to deliver more miles of treadwear. Stable shoulder blocks and a continuous center rib enhance responsiveness and highway stability, while wide circumferential grooves help resist hydroplaning and multiple sipes provide biting edges in snow. Latitude Tour tires also feature Michelin Comfort Control Technology that combines computer-optimized design and precision manufacturing to reduce vibration and road noise. The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts under the tread area on top of a polyester cord casing that enhances ride quality.
Note: While Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season light truck tires offer all-season versatility including traction in light snow, tire sizes featuring extremely wide tread widths may limit the traction this type of tire can provide in deep snow.
*The application of the Green X symbol is determined by laboratory testing on a model-by-model, size-by-size basis. Specific sizes featuring Green X technology are identified as such on the Sizes tab, as well as on the tire's Specs tab.
...Traction is better than than my old Yokohama Geolanderson wet roads with virtually no hydroplaning...
Great tire! Very quiet and comfortable ride on the highway. Traction is better than than my old Yokohama Geolanders on wet roads with virtually no hydroplaning. The tires required almost no weight to balance. Michelin builds a great tire.

...No more traction light when you accelerate on wet roads...these tires grip...
Ok so here is my story...much of like the previous CR-V owners, the stock tires, whether the Dueler's or the Continentals...don't really satisfy the driver or the car. I was stuck with the Dueler's last winter, and instead decided to drive my Honda Civic in the snow. I stretched out the life of my Dueler's to about 28,500 miles. Since then, about November 2009, I've upgraded to the Michelin Latitude Tour.
I am 25 years old, with a 1 year old daughter. My wife and I share the two cars we own. I bought my CR-V in April of 2008 and by the following spring was looking to get rid of it. The tread wear wasn't really bad so I decided to wait until this winter to put a better set of tires on and see if there was a difference...
I can't put into words the improvement. I live in Putnam County, NY about an hour or so north of Manhattan. And recently we've had our fair share of bad weather as has much of the northeast. I have purposely tested these tires in as many adverse conditions as possible. I drive pretty aggressively on a daily basis so I feel confident I can give you a pretty good review of this tire. It handles, dry, wet, slippery, snow and ice, its a world of difference. No more traction light when you accelerate on wet roads...these tires grip. I can also notice a tremendous difference in the comfort of the ride. It feels like the car is brand new again and I drives better than I ever did. Although I have a heavy foot, there are plenty of times I am easy on the gas...especially when my daughter is in the car. So for those times, when I am not so quick to jump on the gas, I have noticed about 2-3 mi/gal better gas mileage.
Bottom line...The OEM tires on 2008 Honda CR-V's (I'm sure all of the one's from 07-11's) are horrible...anything will be better. If you chose to go with the Michelin Tour's, you won't be disappointed!

...I'm very pleased with my purchase, the tires are great all around, quiet, very good in wet traction...
I purchased my Michelin Lattitude Tour tires for my 08 Pilot after doing a lot of research. I'm very pleased with my purchase, the tires are great all around, quiet, very good in wet traction. The O/M Goodyear tires lasted till 60k but I had very poor confidence and performance. The next test is that the tires last till 70k plus.. if so I will purchase them again.

...I was expecting traction problems when driving in snow, but was pleasantly surprised. The Jeep felt connected to the road and never lost traction. These tires provided an unexpected feeling of confidence that shocked me because of other reviews when driving in snow...
These tires came as OE on my Jeep. They are very quite and have provided a smooth ride so far. This past winter I spent two weeks in the Colorado mountains. The trip there from Georgia was smooth and uneventful. I was expecting traction problems when driving in snow, but was pleasantly surprised. The Jeep felt connected to the road and never lost traction. These tires provided an unexpected feeling of confidence that shocked me because of other reviews when driving in snow.. This summer has been a wet one and I have driven in a lot of rain. Traction is adequate and I haven't had any issues with hydroplaning. They are rotated every 5,000 miles and air pressure checked monthly. When it comes time to replace them, I'll definitely consider buying another set.

...The tires are very good in the rain and snow...
Very pleased with the Michelin Latitude tires we put on our 2007 trailblazer. These are quieter and have a better ride than the Continentals that come on it. The tires are very good in the rain and snow. After a little more than 20k miles the tires seem to be wearing very well. I would definitely buy these again.

...Great ride in light snow (here in Michigan) with zero slippage. These tires even grip on ice ( zero issues but I'm a safe driver). Deep snow no real issues...
These tires are great! I got over 90k miles on them. I rotated at 15, 45, and 75k mark. No issues with uneven wear. Tire did show noticeable decrease in performance after 75k. Very satisfied with the braking ability (even at 90k stopped on a dime). Great ride in light snow (here in Michigan) with zero slippage. These tires even grip on ice (zero issues but I'm a safe driver). Deep snow no real issues. Overall I am very pleased with these tires. After reviewing other tires in this category I decided to purchase these again (tire rack only did a road test on the HP version which isn't the same tire based on customer reviews). Great buy! By the way, these tires also drive smooth on the dry roads. Averaged over 100mph for a good stretch from Detroit to Traverse City. They handled nicely. From my experience Michelin tires are the best buy for ride quality. Bridgestone is also good but not as comfortable. Goodyear is average. Perelli ride great but they wear fast. I was going to try Continental (out of curiosity) but I got a steal on these.

...The dry handling, ride comfort, and noise level have been improved significantly...
Just completed a 5000 mile road trip shortly after replacing the OEM Dunlop ST30's. The dry handling, ride comfort, and noise level have been improved significantly. The gas mileage on the trip was slightly less than expected, but the variation could have been due to many things other than the tires. Even if the decrease in mileage was due to the tires, the increase in performance would be well worth it. Did not have a lot of wet driving, and certainly not enough water on the road to have to worry about hydroplaning. Have not had them in any snow yet.

Got these tires in the fall and have 4 snow storms on them and I am VERY impressed. I've been pushing them hard on dry snow, wet snow, slush and some ice and I have had trouble getting them to skid or slip. I have been stomping on the brakes, taking corners hard and making jack rabbit starts in the worst conditions I could find and the Latitude Tour has to be pushed hard to loose traction. I have also driven them hard in wet conditions and been equally impressed. Dry cornering and stability are very good. The only fault I can find with this tire is a little road noise on concrete highways. Fine on asphalt. I use Blizzaks LM 22 on my BMW 325xi (AWD) and I put these all seasons right up there with them.

...As far as wet,dry traction, handling and noise level they are a 10 as is the comfort.
Truthfully there are not enough miles on this factory installed tire to truly answer if I would buy these tires. 440 is the treadwear rating but tires and batteries burn out fairly quick in S. Florida. As far as wet,dry traction, handling and noise level they are a 10 as is the comfort.

...A quiet and comfortable ride on the highway, with confident cornering and braking in the city...
The best wet and dry traction I've yet experienced. A quiet and comfortable ride on the highway, with confident cornering and braking in the city. An outstanding tire.
About as sticky as my prior Scorpions, stickier than the Geolandars I installed before that. Much smoother and much quieter than both. They might be a touch less sporty than the Scorpions; I don't feel quite as much like a needle in a groove when I'm steering as I did with those. But I am very happy with the wet-pavement traction, and I am very confident that I would have the control I'd need to avoid an obstacle. Braking performance has also been remarkable.
I can't measure the value objectively, of course, not without buying other whole sets of tires and testing them out under controlled conditions. But subjectively, I can't think of any way in which I went wrong with these, and I'd recommend them highly for commuting, road trips, and zooming around town.

Very good tire for a cross over SUV like our Enclave. Balanced performance, quiet, handles well, with good tread wear. The first set lasted 38000 and probably could have gotten to 42000, but we travel alot and didn't want to risk it. 18000 on these and they still look good. They work fine in all weather conditions.
