The Latitude Tour is Michelin's Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season light truck tire developed for the drivers of crossovers, sport utility vehicles and light duty pickups looking to combine comfort, wear and fuel efficiency. Most Latitude Tour tires meet Michelin's Green X standards for long tread life, good wet traction and low rolling resistance, as well as provide year-round traction, including in light snow.

Latitude Tour tires use a silica-based tread compound molded into a symmetric tread design optimized with Michelin's MaxTouch Construction to deliver more miles of treadwear. Stable shoulder blocks and a continuous center rib enhance responsiveness and highway stability, while wide circumferential grooves help resist hydroplaning and multiple sipes provide biting edges in snow. Latitude Tour tires also feature Michelin Comfort Control Technology that combines computer-optimized design and precision manufacturing to reduce vibration and road noise. The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts under the tread area on top of a polyester cord casing that enhances ride quality.

Note: While Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season light truck tires offer all-season versatility including traction in light snow, tire sizes featuring extremely wide tread widths may limit the traction this type of tire can provide in deep snow.

*The application of the Green X symbol is determined by laboratory testing on a model-by-model, size-by-size basis. Specific sizes featuring Green X technology are identified as such on the Sizes tab, as well as on the tire's Specs tab.

This set of Michelin's replaced the OE Michelin that came on the vehicle. After installing these, the difference in rain/light snow traction was noticeably better than the original Michelin's that had worn to 4/32s. Ride is quiet and smooth.

...Drove the entire breadth of Missouri in driving rain and fog and tires felt very stable, even when hitting heavy water.

Although I have used Tire Rack as a resource for reviews on a regular basis, this was my first purchase. Bought a complete set for my CR-V and the purchase couldn't have been easier. Communication from customer service was excellent and tires even arrived earlier than expected. My wife has a 2011 CR-V running a very unpleasant (noisy) set of BF Goodrich tires and I will be replacing them with Michelin Latitudes when the time comes. I have been extremely pleased with these tires. Put between 3,000-4,000 miles on them within two weeks of purchase, driving from East Coast to Colorado and back. Very smooth and quiet. Drove the entire breadth of Missouri in driving rain and fog and tires felt very stable, even when hitting heavy water. Am overdue for a rotation, but tires are showing no uneven wear. We had nothing more than an inch or two of snow this past winter and tires handled that and the occasional ice with no problem. I will most likely use this tire as long as I own this SUV.

Bought my used SUV with a new set of these installed. I never skimp on tires but I would not have spent the money for these. I was initially impressed with the ride quality and wet traction. First big snowstorm and I was able to get up and down hills with a bit of effort but they did the job. However just 25k later and they are done. Down to 4mm and the ride is unbearable. Super rough, loud, bouncy, unstable and traction is garbage. They have also become very unbalanced. Glad I didn't buy them. I replaced them with good ol Continental tires. review for those to come.

...Excellent dry and wet grip, and cornering stability considering the profile (truck balloons, not sport sedan)...

I have a 2012 Ford Escape 4wd, I got it last April with 34,xxx on it, these tires were brand new from the dealer. They suffice in the summer, fall and spring. Quiet, smooth, and yields great fuel economy, (26-28 in the summer). Excellent dry and wet grip, and cornering stability considering the profile (truck balloons, not sport sedan)

Now the real reason for the truck purchase is I live in rural MN, where in winter, they don't plow until they feel like it. So, considering the fact I work 2nd shift, and they don't plow, I needed something economical with 4wd. Bingo.

On to winter driving on these treads: Awesome! We recently got a significant snowfall, with wind and all the other pleasentries of MN winter. Long story short, snow 1-1/2 to 2 ft deep was no match. Plowing snow with the bumper and airdam, ice is ice, but these bite pretty well.

They may not last as long as hoped, looking at the service sheet I am roughly 1/2 way through usable tread on one tire, leads me to reason my allignment is out a bit. We'll see what they look like in 6 months.

...Traction dry and wet is awesome...

I have over 76,000 miles on these tires. About 75/25 highway to city driving ratio, 120 miles per day, on some bad MI roads. This is on a GMC Terrain, and I take it easy driving. Avg about 30 MPG with this tire. Original tire on new vehicle. Never had a better tire. It's the quietest tire I've had, but it did get noisier after 40,000. Still very quiet though. Tires rode extremely comfortably until 65k, got progressively stiffer after that. Traction dry and wet is awesome. Last winter traction in snow was very good. This year we had very bad snow. Traction was ok until about 70,000 miles. Started slipping quite a bit on packed snow. ABS and ESC kicked on a lot to limit slip. Belts now poking out at 76k. Time to replace. Will replace with same Michelin Latitude Tour tires. Expensive, but they really do last.

Nice all around OE tire on our Highlander. Handled well and was quite comfortable. A bit lacking in the wet grip but just slow down and it is fine. Replaced with comparable but more affordable Continental Crosscontact LX25

...Tread now, at 88,000 miles, is still 6/32 of an inch. Will only consider replacing because winter will soon be here and want slight advantage of extra tread.

Pleasantly surprised by overall performance of these OEM tires. Have driven in heavy snow and on icy roads here in Northern Minnesota for 7 years and very satisfied with tire performance. Tread now, at 88,000 miles, is still 6/32 of an inch. Will only consider replacing because winter will soon be here and want slight advantage of extra tread.

...These are by far the longest lasting tire I have ever owned. I am very happy with the tread life, probably will get 69k miles before they are replaced...

The Latitude Tour were OEM on my AWD Equinox. These are by far the longest lasting tire I have ever owned. I have no complaints with dry/wet pavement performance. Performed decent in light snow, but noticeably worse in wet snow/slush (true for most tires I have used). I am very happy with the tread life, probably will get 69k miles before they are replaced. I drive a lot of country roads to/from work.
I plan on purchasing the same tire again, and I recommend these tires. Since I drive a lot of back roads that aren't plowed as frequently as main roads, I am going to compare the Latitude Tour tires with tires that have a better snow rating before I make my final decision.
