The Latitude Tour is Michelin's Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season light truck tire developed for the drivers of crossovers, sport utility vehicles and light duty pickups looking to combine comfort, wear and fuel efficiency. Most Latitude Tour tires meet Michelin's Green X standards for long tread life, good wet traction and low rolling resistance, as well as provide year-round traction, including in light snow.
Latitude Tour tires use a silica-based tread compound molded into a symmetric tread design optimized with Michelin's MaxTouch Construction to deliver more miles of treadwear. Stable shoulder blocks and a continuous center rib enhance responsiveness and highway stability, while wide circumferential grooves help resist hydroplaning and multiple sipes provide biting edges in snow. Latitude Tour tires also feature Michelin Comfort Control Technology that combines computer-optimized design and precision manufacturing to reduce vibration and road noise. The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts under the tread area on top of a polyester cord casing that enhances ride quality.
Note: While Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season light truck tires offer all-season versatility including traction in light snow, tire sizes featuring extremely wide tread widths may limit the traction this type of tire can provide in deep snow.
*The application of the Green X symbol is determined by laboratory testing on a model-by-model, size-by-size basis. Specific sizes featuring Green X technology are identified as such on the Sizes tab, as well as on the tire's Specs tab.

...Gulf Coast driving with tons of rain in the winter and spring (and now, actually) and tremendous heat in the spring, summer, and fall months...
I have been very happy with these OEM tires. They have worn perfectly, regardless of my somewhat spirited driving style. 75% Highway, 25% city. No offroad or snow/ice, etc. Gulf Coast driving with tons of rain in the winter and spring (and now, actually) and tremendous heat in the spring, summer, and fall months. Rotated every single time I've changed my oil (so about 10 times in the life of the tires). At 55K miles I will easily make the manufacturers 60K recommended service life. Looking to move to the same LTX but M/S 2 instead. Deeper sipes, increased wet traction.

...These tires have no wet traction. If the weather is 70 and sunny they are fine. I can't stop well in the rain, spin them taking off and don't even think about in snow...
This tire came on my truck. I HATE THEM!!! These tires have no wet traction. If the weather is 70 and sunny they are fine. I can't stop well in the rain, spin them taking off and don't even think about snow. These are the biggest waste of money on the market. I have never wanted to buy tires so bad. I also have a 2005 2500 hd Chevy, it has Firestone Transforce at's, these are a great tire!! So if its 70 and sunny I can drive my Dodge, anthing else, I take my Chevy. Until I put Firestones on the Dodge. I would rate these tires poor at best.

...They do have a quiet ride and the wet handling is very and dry traction are excellent...
Since I purchased this truck from a private party, the previous owner had installed some michelins XC-LT4s on this pickup, the tires are great since I have owned this truck, but they are cracking very severe on the tires, just a bunch of little cuts all along the sidewalls. These tires still look brand new!!. With the price of tires these days its hard to just can them and purchase another set, so I guess I will have to live with them until the just fall apart. They do have a quiet ride and the wet handling is very and dry traction are excellent. It is very hard to recommend this tire, just because of the cracking.

These are the worst tires i have ever owned for the snow. Truck only has 700
miles on it and i have been stuck twice in 3 to 4 inches of snow in 4wd. I have a new 8 foot Fisher plow coming for the truck next week and there is no way i will be plowing with these (now pricing BF Goodrich TA/KO) never got a chance to try them off road and really dont want to. Tires may be ok in a state where it does not snow but should be outlawed in the state of Maine. What is really sad is the price you pay for a big truck and this is what you get for tires.

I wish I had my old worn out tires back, at least I didnt get stuck in 2" of snow on a flat driveway!...
I changed my existing tires to these because of the load rating and tread pattern. Biggest mistake I ever made! I wish I had my old worn out tires back, at least I didnt get stuck in 2" of snow on a flat driveway! Great treadwear because the rubber compound is harder than a rock. Smooth riding though. About the only good part about them.

It is sloppy, poor traction on dry pavement, dangerous in wet, likely to hydroplane. The worst performing tires I have ever had on any vehicle...
It is hard to beleive Michelin makes a tire this bad. It is sloppy, poor traction on dry pavement, dangerous in wet, likely to hydroplane. The worst performing tires I have ever had on any vehicle. I did not know they were ranked 20th or lower in their class. It sure does show. I prefer the Michelin LTX A/T2, all terrain tire which is way better in every category. It is hard to beleive a single purpose all season highway tire such as the LTX A/S could be worse in every measuerd category than the Michelin LTX A/T 2, generally you lose something in an all terrain/off road tire. I can not recommend the LTX A/S.

I drive in the City most of the time with some HWY driving. I dont drive a lot of miles anymore like I used to.
These are the OEM tires that came with my Ram.
From what I have experienced they are excellent tires in Dry and wet conditions with excellent grip even in heavy rain and through standing water. It does rain hard and a lot here when it rains.
Very stable tire.
My SR rated LTX AS are A rated for traction.

I replaced the factory Generals on my truck after a series of 3(!!) flats in two weeks. The differance in ride quality is astonishing! Much smoother, quiter and much, much more stable than any of the factory tires (including the available Michilins). I work at a dealership and have driven countless numbers of trucks and these tires provide the best improvment of ride quality by far. I did go up in size and as such lost a little grunt off of the line, but the improved highway ride more than off sets that.
I would deffinatley recommend these tires to anyone who is buying tires for a truck, suv or van that sees more on-road driving than off-road... although I must say that these tires have never let me down out at the ranch either.

The "265/60/18" tires came as OEM on a New 2009 F-150 STX. Tread wear with regular tire rotations has been outstanding. The ride is smooth and very quiet. The Michelins are a little more money but I believe competitively priced and worth every penny. Excellent tire. You get what you pay for.

These are OEM tires and currently have 103,340 miles on them. Planning to go to Mexico over Christmas, so will replace them before leaving. Incredible treadwear. Dont do a lot of towing, but perhaps 10 -15 % of the miles are from pulling trailers of varying weights. Since I have a Cummins Diesel which is quite heavy I was concerned about wear. But I rotate them every 7,500 miles - and have never balanced them. Have the alignment checked every 10,000 miles, and plan to follow the same procedures with the next set. All in all I think it is worth the money.

...I have put 95,000 miles on these tires and have rotated them once... By the way, before these tires, I have never had a set last over 45,000 miles. I am about to replace them, but I am pretty sure I can get to 100,000 miles before I do.
These are the best tires to ever be made. I have put 95,000 miles on these tires and have rotated them once. I had a screw go throught the tire, I plugged it myself and has not leaked since. I had one other leak on one of these tires while I was at my deer lease, but when I got it to the tire shop it had sealed itself over. I haul a gooseneck trailer a lot, I have hauled plows up to 22,000 lbs with these tires and have basically put them through -------- and back again on gravel roads. HANDSDOWN, THE BEST TIRES I HAVE EVER OWNED. I don't think Michelin intended these tires to last this long, but I will never buy any other set of tires beside these. I even bought my mom a set for her 2005 Durango. By the way, before these tires, I have never had a set last over 45,000 miles. I am about to replace them, but I am pretty sure I can get to 100,000 miles before I do.
These tires wear great, still going at 80,000 miles...
These tires wear great, still going at 80,000 miles. The dry traction and cornering is fine.
The wet cornering is slightly sub par and the snow and ice traction not the best.Breaking was good in dry or wet and I have had no problem with hydroplaning. Steering response was good. I tried going off road and they spun easily on gravel , leaves, and mud. Overall a great tire for long distance in good weather on the road.I tried some Bridgestone dueler AT Revo's and they are great off the road and in the snow and ice but they wore out fast
in about 35 thousand miles. They also did not steer so well compared to the michelin and fuel mileage suffered some.
