Tires are designed specifically for different vehicles and wheel sizes. Tell us about your vehicle or the specific size you want so we can help find the right tires for you.

The LTX M/S2 is Michelin's Highway All-Season tire developed to combine long tread life with all-season capabilities for vans, pickups and sport utility vehicles, as well as for commercial vans, shuttles and chassis cab vehicles using light truck tire sizes. The LTX M/S2 is designed to combine a smooth, quiet ride with year-round traction in dry, wet and wintry conditions, including in light snow. Compared to the original LTX M/S, the LTX M/S2 is an evolution in looks . . . and a leap forward in performance.

The LTX M/S2 molds a long wearing, silica-enhanced, all-season compound into a tread profile featuring Michelin's MaxTouch Construction to produce a contact patch that promotes reliable traction and long wear by evenly distributing acceleration, braking and cornering forces. A symmetric tread design of stable independent tread blocks featuring high-density 3-D Active Sipes delivers all-season traction on dry roads and in inclement weather. Four wide circumferential channels, multiple lateral grooves and open shoulder slots promote lateral water evacuation to enhance wet traction and stopping performance.

The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts (three steel belts in Load Range D and Load Range E sizes) to provide the strength and durability needed to handle heavy loads.

Note: The LTX M/S2 Highway All-Season tire is NOT a dedicated winter / snow tire. It does NOT meet the severe snow traction requirements and is NOT branded with the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.

*Specific sizes featuring Green X technology are identified as such on the Sizes tab, as well as on the tire's Specs tab.

...Wet traction is markedly improved...

Replaced OEM Goodyear after 6 years and 70,000 miles. With the Michelins on I had a pronounced reduction in road noise and the ride quality is much improved. The original GYr tires were worn to nearly the wear bars but still had tread on them. Wet traction is markedly improved. Was a bit wary of paying an extra $50 per tire but as I intend on keeping the Pilot for another 6 years it will be worth the extra money.

...Excellent handling, wet or dry, no hydroplaning...

I've had outstanding service and performance with these tires. They have been on my truck for 4 yrs. with no problems. No cracking or dry rot of the sidewalls that some other reviewers have stated. I replaced this set, after 75,000 miles and at least an 1/8th of an inch of tread left, with the same exact tires. My truck drives like new again. Excellent handling, wet or dry, no hydroplaning. Good traction in the winter, with the exception of deep snow and ice covered roads, which no tire does except dedicated winter tires. Living in Michigan I see my share of snow. These Michelin tires have performed, hands down, better than the original Goodyear Wrangler tires that I replaced after only 20,000 miles. I highly recommend these tires and would purchase them again.

I find them to be quiet, handle well and provide excellent traction in both wet and snow conditions...

I replaced the OEM Bridgestone's at 43,000 miles with these Michelins and I would definitely recommend them to anyone! They are light years ahead of the OEM's and I have nothing negative to say about them, period. I do a lot of spirited highway and city driving and they deliver on all levels. I find them to be quiet, handle well and provide excellent traction in both wet and snow conditions. I expect to get a ton of miles out of them. I see no sign of wear what so ever. Great job Michelin!

I now have 11,100 miles on my set of set of LTX M/S2 tires; they still look like I put them on my SUV last week. They provide outstanding handling and ride in every climatic condition in Minnesota, including torrential thunderstorms, blizzards and icestorms. Long uphill grades in 6-8 inches of snow are no problem on a AWD vehicle with these tires. Minimal road noise at 10 to 85 mph on all types of road surfaces except very rough portions of old interstates. The ride is virtually silent and smooth as silk on well maintained asphalt roads. These are unquestionably THE BEST tires I have ever owned and I will be putting a set on my wife's LX 470 very soon. I did a large amount of research before putting this kind of money into a set of tires; they are worth every cent.

...The truck drives like a completely different vehicle, handles better, smoother ride, better traction in rain/snow/sleet...

Wow. Never thought that a tire could make that much of a difference. These completely destroy the OEM Goodyear Integritys that came on the vehicle which I never liked from day one. The truck drives like a completely different vehicle, handles better, smoother ride, much better traction in rain/snow/sleet. Extremely happy with this purchase.

...With these new Michelin's, I feel like I'm locked to the pavement, yet my truck is now nimble with wonderful steering response...

Just a first report on these tires which I researched for months before my purchase. I had BFG Rugged Trails as OEM's, and they still had a third of their tread left but were showing cracking between the grooves. Plus they weren't good rain tires. With the N. Cal. winter looming, I wanted to get the LTX MS2's installed so I would be ready. One word delivers my impression of these tires thus far.

WOW - !

Dry handling; the Nissan Frontier Nismo is the sports car of pickup trucks. Taut handling, scary powerful engine and racing seats to hold you in place. With these new Michelin's, I feel like I'm locked to the pavement, yet my truck is now nimble with wonderful steering response. Over expansion joint heavy freeway stretches, what used to be jarring thud, thud, thud, is now silent. On grooved concrete, where I used to hear humming and felt my truck track with the surface, now there is none of it.

Looking at these tires on the vehicle, I am thrilled to see such quality and the state of the tire makers art awaiting the call of the road. The size for my vehicle 265-75 /16 only came in load range E, which means an extra 32nd of an inch of tread depth (13), and a third steel belt. I thought having the extra load capacity would affect the ride, but it doesn't. The four wide circumferential channels are like CANYONS. I can't wait for a good rain storm to test out wet traction. I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

...The dry handling is superlative...

These Michelin LTX/MS2's replaced a set of 'General' HT tires on my 1991 Ford Explorer (newly acquired). The Generals, while admittedly well on in their lifespan, were so noisy that it was fatiguing to drive the car. I spent a week or more Googling everything relevant I could think of, and made extensive use of TireRack.com's ratings and reviews. I would have chosen a softer sidewall if available (stock/existing tires were 105's, the Michelins were 108's) as this truck already rode like, well, a truck. That notwithstanding, _everything_ else about thise tires thus far has been fantastic. Road noise isn't just diminished, it's _GONE_. The dry handling is likewise superlative, and though I'll have to wait a few months to test it out, I expect no less in the wet. While these were not inexpensive, the excellence of the product in real world use, plus a 70K warranty, makes it a bargain in my book. HIGHLY recommended. Oh, and the installers (Monroe Tire in Santa Rosa, CA) were wonderful.

Forget the ratings and the mileage. I had to put in something to tell this story. Just bought them. Wow! WOW! Just amazed at the difference the quietness, smooth and soft ride. Handling is so good. Rude the noise level on a scale of 1-10 to a 11 on quietness and smoothness. It's like a new truck. My family is just blown away by the difference. It's like a just bought a much newer truck. So excited and so happy I bought these tire. I never thought a tire could make such a tremondous change. Spend a bit more and ride with confidence and exceed your expectations.

...They are load range E however they are a very smooth riding tire. There is not any road noise generated by them...

I've had these tires on my truck for just about a month and can't say enough good about them! They are load range "E" however they are a very smooth riding tire. There is not any road noise generated by them and traction seems to be good too. I'm anxious to try them in the snow and on the ice. If you worry about tires that throw stones, these do NOT throw stones(less stone chips on your truck) Overall very satisfied with these tires and would buy them again.

...They are wearing very even and really do not show much wear at all. I have 10,000 miles on them now...

I have to say this is the best set of tires I have ever purchased. I have always looked at Michelin but because of price I never purchased. After the OEM Goodyear Integra blew a sidewall I decided I was going to go with the best tire out there. These tires are wonderful at 80mph on the highway. In my opinion they perform better above 70 mph then they do at 50mph. The car handles so much better and I feel safer on the interstate with these tires. They are wearing very even and really do not show much wear at all. I have about 10,000 miles on them now. I would surely by them again.

Dodge Ram 2500 diesel. I have 70000 miles on these tires with substantial tread left. I will probably get another 15000 miles out of them. Tires are like everything else. You get what you pay for. These tires are pricey, but will last the longest without noise or problems. Highway/City +towing combined. You will pay more up front, but will save money in the long run by not replacing them in 30-40k like other tires. If you plan on keeping your vehicle for over 60k.....these are the tires.

I bought these tires from tire rack for my 1996 toyota T100 4x4 after the original factory tires wore out at 45000 miles. Needless to say I cannot believe how well these handle, go in snow and rain, and especially last. I rotated them 3 times, and they still after 81k miles have at least 5000 miles left, maybe more, but they are starting to be a little less grippy in the rain so I may change them soon. My father has a lighter tacoma pickup 4 door and he goes through the bridgestones at 45000 miles like clockwork and they are only like $50 cheaper for all 4. I needless to say ordered him a set of these michelins today- Be sure they are LTX M/S2 not the off road ones, or you may not get my results- . I install them with the white letters facing in for less cleaning maintenance, and less noticability for possible vandalism. I promise these are great. Also if you have a toyota truck installing Bilstein shocks will make an unbelievable difference in ride.Good luck- New Jersey Nick
