The Winterforce CV is Firestone's Light Truck/SUV Studless Ice & Snow tire designed for drivers of vans, delivery trucks and multi-purpose vehicles that transport heavy loads. Available in heavy-duty, Euro-metric Commercial Vehicle (designated by the suffix C, not to be confused with LT-metric Load Range C) sizes, Winterforce CV tires are for drivers looking for traditional wintertime traction on dry, wet and snow-covered roads.
Firestone Winterforce CV winter / snow radials feature a winter tread compound molded into an aggressive directional tread pattern with strong tie bars in the outboard shoulders to stabilize the blocks for confident handling and to resist irregular wear. Wide, high-angle lateral grooves and deep, circumferential channels help evacuate water and slush, and the independent tread blocks are siped to offer the biting edges necessary to provide traction in snow and on ice.
The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts on top of a polyester casing to combine strength with ride quality.
Winterforce CV winter / snow tires meet the industry's severe snow service requirements and are branded with the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.
Install Winterforce CV tires in sets of four only.

Comfort receives positive feedback for a smooth ride, though noise levels show slight variability. Treadwear ratings are mixed, with many users noting decent longevity (7-8 range) for a max-performance summer tire, but some report faster wear under aggressive use. Overall, the tire delivers standout dry and wet performance aligned with its category, while comfort and treadlife satisfy most drivers seeking a high-performance summer option.

...Excellent traction both wet and dry (although I haven't driven in heavy rain, so I can't comment on that)...
I am very happy with these tires and will purchase them again. They are far superior the stock Perelli Zero Nero all season tires on my 2016 Mustang GT.
Excellent traction both wet and dry (although I haven't driven in heavy rain, so I can't comment on that). These are not All Season tires, so I imagine they would be terrible on snow/ice.

...These tires once they are warm are unbeatable for grip in the corners. I just love the way they handle.
I bought these instead of 295's that were on car . The increase to the 305's helped on the track this time . These tires once they are warm are unbeatable for grip in the corners . I just love the way they handle .

...Rear tires wore well. Front tires needed to be replaced...
Recently purchased my first set of PS2s for DE and autocross. Ran 2 days at sebring, 2 days at road Atlanta (and did double duty with my race instructor at RA) and an autocross. Rear tires wore well. Front tires needed to be replaced. Overall, excellent grip. Much better than OEM Pirellis. Very addictive levels of grip in fact. I have over 30 track days, 3 Porsche driving schools and run essentially a stock 991 except for pagid yellows and girodisc rotors. I was hoping I could get more DEs out of these tires. Typically I can get about 4 - 5 on the stock Pirellis. With that said, my home track is VIR and Sebring and Road Atlanta were brand new.
I would highly recommend these tires for grip. Road noise was quiet too - couldn't tell much difference between these and OEM. I am going to try one more pair of these and run at my home track to see how they perform for comparison to my OEM tires. Will keep everyone posted. These tires are definitely an investment. Rear tire got a nail in Road Atlanta parking lot so all four tires now retired for track use!

...Use these on my daily driver with lots of highway and city miles and with the softer sticky compound and spirited driving, they just don't last as long as I would like but that is the price to pay for an awesome tire on a sports car. Compromise I am willing to make and pay for. After about 10,000 miles am right now installing my next set...
Excellent tire for spirited driving. Very predictable at the limits of adhesion. When cornering hard the tires start talking and increase in squeal as they get pushed harder thus easy to ride the limit. Have not experienced a sudden brake in traction as I did with another high-performance tire brand. Have not had to use these tires a lot in the rain yet (South East Coastal Georgia) and when I did I never experienced any hydroplaning or traction loss - but then again wasn't pushing it that hard either. Use these on my daily driver with lots of highway and city miles and with the softer sticky compound and spirited driving, they just don't last as long as I would like but that is the price to pay for an awesome tire on a sports car. Compromise I am willing to make and pay for. After about 10,000 miles am right now installing my next set. Will continue to buy these until Michelin comes out with a replacement or something better for my driving style.
