Does this tire fit your vehicle?

Tires are designed specifically for different vehicles and wheel sizes. Tell us about your vehicle or the specific size you want so we can help find the right tires for you.

Grand Touring All-Season run-flat tires provide temporary self-supporting run-flat mobility for a distance of 50 miles at up to 50 mph, even after a puncture has allowed complete air pressure loss. They are for drivers who want a combination of a sophisticated appearance, competent handling and H-speed rated (or higher) durability, along with all-season traction, including in light snow. Grand Touring All-Season run-flat tires branded with the M+S symbol and are often used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on sophisticated coupes and luxurious performance sedans.

O.E. Grand Touring All-Season run-flat tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle's original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. run-flat tires' performance category and specifications.

NOTE: Run-flat tires are only recommended for vehicles that are originally equipped with self-supporting run-flat tires and equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system.

Though they cannot be labeled as run-flat tires, tires branded with MOExtended or MOE on their sidewalls offer run-flat-like characteristics by delivering limited temporary extended mobility after a puncture results in complete loss of air pressure. Because MOExtended or MOE tires do not have the same speed and distance endurance of conventional run-flat tires, they should not be substituted in any situation where a conventional run-flat tire is required. To confirm what your vehicle needs, check our Original Equipment tire listing for your year, make and model or see your vehicle owner's manual.

My BMW came with staggered Hankook run flat tires, and I hated them from day 1. They were noisy and didnt have any traction in rain. I ennded up buying Michelins and they are amazing!! Noise is low and handling is lot better. At the end of the day, no one beats Michelin. Someone else in their review said, it's like anchors have been lifted when you change to Michelin...and I totally understand what the other person meant in their review. I couldn't have said it better!!

We use this tire only in summer and have been very satisfied with it. Noise level is very good and it handles well on both wet and dry roads.

I have driven these tires in dry, wet and snow conditions. It capable of all road conditions in Chicago, even in some deep snow and ices, it feels safe...

I replace these tires for the factory conti ssr on my 335 xdrive. The original conti is very good however these MXM4 is just better. better in almost very area including better traction, sharper cornering and softer ride and less noise. I have driven these tires in dry,wet and snow conditions. It capable of all road conditions in Chicago, even in some deep snow and ices, it feels safe.
The only draw back is seems the tire have 1 less mile per gallon in gas, it might be due to change of driving behavior, but it is really don't hurt compare to all those gains i had. Over all, it is the best run flat i have driven on.

ps.I just went to the dealer for service, they measured the tire tread depth, seems it is also consume faster than the factory conti, but it does come with deeper thread then the conti ssr, so assume they have the same life.

Replaced the stock Continentals with this tire. Very smooth riding, quiet and responsive.

Playing a bit with these tires when pushing through the on-ramps to the freeway put a smile on my face. Had one day where someone was riding my bumper as we started into a smooth, long cloverleaf. I hit the gas and with the BMW 50/50 chassis was able to take the tires hard into the long corner with no squak and no squeal. When I exited the cloverleaf, the butt-hole behind me was but a spec in my mirror.

The tread pattern of these tires looks very domesticated but their grip is outstanding.

They also seem to have a bit more rubber on the outside of the rim, saving from unintended curb rash on my rims.

There's new life in my Bimmer. I think I'll hang onto it for another couple years :)

...After about 3,500 miles and 1 year of use, my new Michelins have performed very well in all respects - ride comfort, quiet, handling, weather, etc. - the best (by far) run flat tires I've had on any vehicle...

My 2017 BMW 330i X Sportwagon had Michelin Primacy run flats OE; I ordered a set of 225/50R-17 Michelin Primacy MXM4 ZP run flats (recommended replacement tire, same size as OE) mounted on a set of BBS SR Anthracite Gray 17" wheels (8" rim width - the OE BMW alloys were 7.5"). After about 3,500 miles and 1 year of use, my new Michelins have performed very well in all respects - ride comfort, quiet, handling, weather, etc. - the best (by far) run flat tires I've had on any vehicle. The BBS SR wheels look great - I've received quite a few compliments. Thank you Tire Rack for discounting the purchase price of my wheels & tires (I picked them up @ the TR distribution center @ New Castle, DE).

...I would prefer a run flat that offers better lateral grip, but realize a compromise is needed for durability, run flat capability and tire wear...

From the last replacement, I don't have any real updates on the tire performance, However these are exact OEM replacements. I would prefer a run flat that offers better lateral grip, but realize a compromise is needed for durability, run flat capability and tire wear. Comments on the wet /dry snow traction are based on previous set of tires. As these tires are ostensibly the same, I used my past experience as a reference point.

...These Michelin tires far exceed in terms of comfort, being quiet, and handling responsiveness...

I have two (2) of these identical vehicles. These tires were purchased as replacements to the set of Continental tires which came from teh BMW factory. These Michelin tires far exceed in terms of comfort, being quiet, and handling responsiveness. The few extra dollars for this tire are more than worth it over the other BMW recommended tires (Bridgestone, Continental, Pirelli, etc.)

...These tires have completely changed my mind... They give you a very nice compromise between comfort and sport...

I was initially very guarded about purchasing a set of run flat tires for the car given the poor reputation that this tire segment has earned. These tires have completely changed my mind. I have over 50,000 miles of mixed driving on a set and they are now a mm above the wear bars. They give you a very nice compromise between comfort and sport. I have been very impressed.

I have has these tire OEM supplied on my Cadillac ATS Performance Model with the 3.6L engine. This car for its weight has a lot of power 323 hp so I find myself looking to push these tires, bottom line they stick and they wear really well and you have the piece of mind that they are also run flat tires. With almost 33 thousand miles there is actually a lot of treadwear left. I am going to replace these tires with the exact same tires as I find no flaw with them. Normally as tire get close to end of life they begin to get noisy and ride differently, I am not experiencing that with this tire. I will be ordering a new Z06 which will come with Michelin tires which pleases me very much. I will put new OEM tires on my ATS before I sell it so the new owner can have the great experience I have had.

Only 300 Miles so far. These run flats replaced original Bridgestone EL42 run flats. The Bridgestone were garbage.

These Michelins resolve alot of the flaws of the Bridgestone. Sidewalls are softer, pot holes are not loud on impact, road noise has been reduced, and wet/dry traction has been improved significantly. You can barely tell these are run flats. Sure they are a tad stiffer then normal tires, but they are run flats.

Only 300 miles so far, will give another update after I use them in snow.
