The WildPeak A/T Trail is Falken's On-Road All-Terrain tire developed for drivers of crossovers and SUVs who crave adventure and want a tire with the durability to explore off-road, yet matches the dynamic characteristics of modern crossover vehicles on the road. The WildPeak A/T Trail is designed to deliver rugged capability and aggressive good looks combined with pleasant on-road manners, confident dry and wet traction, and light snow performance sufficient to earn the tire industry's severe snow service certification and three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.

Falken WildPeak A/T Trail Callouts

The WildPeak A/T Trail is engineered to complement the unibody construction of crossovers and small SUVs to deliver durability and enhanced handling year-round. The silica-enriched compound is molded into a purposeful, symmetric pattern and is designed to provide durability and longevity over a wide range of conditions and temperatures. Wet traction is enhanced by the high-silica compound along with the notches and edges of the independent tread blocks. Deep starting tread depths, open shoulders, and wide, circumferential grooves aid hydroplaning resistance where standing water is present. The upper sidewall features a rugged construction and over-the-shoulder ribs to help prevent punctures from rocks, sticks and other terrain encountered off-road. Falken's 3D Canyon sipes interlock below the surface for stability in all conditions while also creating biting edges that enhance light snow and ice traction and help the tire earn the 3PMSF symbol.

Falken WildPeak A/T Trail tires allow drivers to personalize their vehicles by offering dual sidewall designs on every tire. One side features traditional, serrated lettering, while the other has a raised, three-dimensional style. All tires feature both designs, allowing drivers to choose their look based on which is mounted outward on the wheel.

A two-ply, polyester casing enhances durability without compromising ride quality. Twin, high-strength steel belts support the tread area and are reinforced by a polyamide cap ply, improving handling and providing high-speed capability.

Popular Tires for America's Most Popular Vehicles – 2025 Test 8 - With Winter Update(39:51)

The Crossover, or CUV, is hands-down the most popular vehicle in America. Last year in our CUV test, we used the Alfa Romeo Stelvio to test all-season and all-weather touring tires. This year, the field expanded to include all-terrain and performance truck products, representing the full range of tires drivers are installing on these vehicles. Obviously, with a test this diverse, it’s not so much about which one tire rises to the top, but rather how each category brings its own strengths to the table. When comparing multiple tires from one category, it's how they stack up against each other. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy Test 8!

...In the wet the Tire performs well. I didn't notice any hydroplaning at highway speeds...

From the Reviews and Michelin’s reputation,
I had high expectations. These are above average Tires and they are Premium. As this is a Run-Flat Tire model, but the tires are noisier than the (original) Bridgestones they replaced. I can’t determine if the handling is any better. In the wet the Tire performs well. I didn’t notice any hydroplaning at highway speeds. Then again the road is in very good condition, recently repaved and there isn’t any instances of seeing any small pools of water, sitting on the road.
What I do like is the Tire is designed so that it protrudes above your Rims so it will help protect them from being scratched.
I think the fact they are not as quiet as I expected was the biggest letdown.
Next time, I am inclined to stick with the other OEM - Pirelli. But I am under the impression that these Michelins are a slightly harder compound, meaning they will last longer.

...Very good in snow as well, okay on ice, but not as good as true snow tires (which I have also had on in the past)...

I drive 30,000+ miles per year and put on a set of these every year since the car was new. Car currently has 130k on it and I’m on my 5th set of these. Can’t rotate because of staggered sizes but have an alignment done every 10,000 miles to keep even wear. Excellent handling and quiet ride over city and highway surfaces. Very good in snow as well, okay on ice, but not as good as true snow tires (which I have also had on in the past). Staying with the all seasons now year round since run flat snow tires in this size are not available anymore.

...These tires hook up well on dry pavement for a fantastic launch, but they are also great for quietly cruising along...

I drive my 7 series probably more aggressive than most 7 series owners will. My car has a M Sport packages with full launch control. It originally came with Pirelli run flats which would spin all 4 on a launch even in dry conditions. They were also noticeably louder than these tires. These tires hook up well on dry pavement for a fantastic launch, but they are also great for quietly cruising along. These tires have also been fantastic for rainy days. Anyone who has experienced a rainy day in Charlotte knows I485/85/77 are always a mess with standing water. These tires handle it with ease. I haven't seen snow yet with these tires, and I only have 1000 miles so I can't comment on wear. I'm happy now, after being skeptical of the Michelin brand. I had issues with the pilot sports that came on my Porsche 911. It looks like these tires don't have any issues I had with my Porsche.
