Drivers consistently rate the Michelin Primacy XC as a strong highway all-season tire, with treadwear (7-10 scores) praised for durability across typical highway miles. Comfort stands out with smooth ride quality and low noise levels, earning frequent 9-10 ratings. Winter traction shows mixed results-scores dip to 0-5 for ice and deep snow, suggesting limited confidence in severe conditions. Wet traction (7-10) performs reliably in rain, though hydroplaning resistance varies. Dry traction excels (7-10), with stable cornering and responsive steering noted as highlights. Ideal for drivers prioritizing year-round highway comfort and longevity over extreme winter capability.

...They are quiet on the road and do very well in the rain which is great for all the miles we drive with our RV.
This is my second set of these tires on this truck. They came factory on my 2024 GMC 3500 DRW and I bought these to replace the factory tires because I have been very satisfied with the performance and wear. I have about 60k on the truck now and the tires are just about to the wear bars. I frequently tow a 24000lb 5th wheel with this truck and these tires have performed very well. They are quiet on the road and do very well in the rain which is great for all the miles we drive with our RV.

Great tire in wet and dry driving. Very quiet and stable. The only negative is the poor traction in light and heavy snow.

These tires were OEM on my Ford F150 Supercrew. They are pretty nice in dry conditions on the highway; they are fairly quiet, they track well and are comfortable at speed. In-town driving on dry pavement is also pretty good, with decent cornering (for big tires on a pickup truck) and good traction.
Where these tires fall short, far short, is in their ability to handle wet, snowy, icy and muddy/gravelly conditions. Traction is terrible in even light (2-3") snow, compared to every other set of tires I've had on pickup trucks. The tires have little or no bite, and spin out in even mildly slippery conditions.
If you want a fair weather tire, these aren't bad; if you want something that can handle weather or even slightly loose terrain, look elsewhere.

...I've only driven 320 miles so far, but I am blown away by... fantastic dry traction, and their response to steering input.
For an OEM these tires surprise me. I've only driven 320 miles so far, but I am blown away by the ride comfort, noise comfort, great wet traction, fantastic dry traction, and their response to steering input.

I've had really good luck with Michelin tires, they wear well, quiet tread design and I usually get 40-50k miles with even wear.

These tires are far superior to the Goodyear SR-A tires that were on the truck when I bought it. I really like the all around performance of this tire, and the longevity of the tread life. I also like the look of the tire for a two-wheel drive vehicle. I would recommend these tires to anyone and look forward to buying another set for myself. I live in Louisiana, and I travel on a weekly basis for work. I can easily put 1,000 miles a week for travel. Also, I service my truck every 5,000 miles, which includes a tire rotation.

Winter traction ratings for the Michelin Primacy XC show concerning scores, with many customers giving 0-5 for snow and ice performance. Frequent reports highlight slippery conditions, loss of traction, and being stuck in snow, indicating a clear lack of winter capability despite its all-season designation.

If you live somewhere where it snows do not get this tire. This is the worst all season tire I've ever used in the winter. No traction on hard packed snow and ice.
