The Blizzak WS90 is Bridgestone's Studless Ice & Snow winter tire developed for drivers of sedans, coupes, minivans and crossovers looking for confident control in a variety of difficult winter weather. When winter driving conditions are at their worst, Bridgestone's Blizzak WS90 winter tires are designed to be at their best.
The directional pattern of the Blizzak WS90 features increased block stiffness to deliver more responsive steering in addition to improved wear life, and Bridgestone's EdgePerformance Technology Package includes full-depth features and interlocking sipes to provide impressive performance longer through the tire's life. The tread pattern features greater contact area and 15% more block edges than the Blizzak WS90's predecessor, increasing ice traction and reducing braking distances in slippery conditions. It is molded from Bridgestone's next generation Multi-Cell compound with bite particles, which allows the tire to remove the thin layer of water that develops between the tread rubber and icy surfaces, enabling the tire to better grip the ice. Silica enhancements in the compound further improve grip in snow and on ice.
Blizzak WS90 Studless Ice & Snow tires meet the industry's severe snow service requirements and are branded with the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.
Blizzak WS90 tires feature snow platforms that act as winter wear bars and notify drivers when they are near the end of the Multi-Cell compound (actual depth of Multi-Cell compound varies slightly by tire size). Beneath the Multi-Cell compound is Bridgestone's best winter compound, but without the Multi-Cell feature.
Install Bridgestone Blizzak WS90 tires in sets of four only.
Due to the traction capabilities of Blizzak WS90 tires, Bridgestone recommends using them only in sets of four to provide the best handling characteristics and tire performance.

All-Weather vs. Winter Tires: The Definitive Test(12:05)
Brent and TJ set off with a couple of objectives in this, the first test of 2026. The first is to highlight the differences between two types of Grand Touring tires: all-season and all-weather. Second, to see how they stack up to dedicated winter tires. The internet is a great resource, but not all the information out there is accurate, and this test is designed to truly set the record straight.
Owners report excellent dry traction with scores of 9-10, praising confident grip and responsive handling in summer conditions. Wet traction earns consistent 8-10 ratings, with strong hydroplaning resistance and reliable performance in rain. Comfort stands out for its smooth and quiet ride, backed by high marks for noise reduction. Treadwear receives widespread approval, with many noting long-lasting durability even under spirited driving. While a few lower scores in treadwear (5-7) suggest variability, most feedback aligns with the tire's ultra-high-performance summer focus, emphasizing dry and wet capabilities as key strengths. Overall satisfaction highlights its suitability for drivers prioritizing summer-focused performance.

These tires are fantastic in wet conditions. I put a set on a Mazda5 for my wife’s car. After driving it a few times, I ended up putting a set on my Honda civic. We’ve driven over 60,000 miles on both sets of tires. We live in a warmer wet climate so tires that grip well in rain are a must. These are so good I’m going to put a new set on my Honda again.

Great tire for the $- predictable in rain with good traction. Drove the Tail of the Dragon in TN in light drizzle on these tires- very satisfied as the car never slipped once...
Great tire for the $-predictable in rain with good traction. Drove the Tail of the Dragon in TN in light drizzle on these tires-very satisfied as the car never slipped once. Quiet on hwy. Reasonable breakaway on dry riads-Dry traction as expected, not as good as a dedicated Summer tire-but I bought these as the “Winter” tire for the occasional driving vacation down south. Fairly slippery on snow but this is a Mustang not intended for that-made it through the local neighborhood though and it can be navigated with some care. Very happy with these. So far not showing wear at 5K.

...Handling has been a dream so far, I've had them since spring and I put the car away mid-October. Awesome ride, great cornering, excellent through any rain and super responsive all the way through. I've found city driving to be really good too, very precise steering...
I was looking for a high performance tire to put on my Solstice and after lots of research I settled on these Pirellli P7 Y rated tires. One of the best tire decisions I've made! I was immediately struck by how amazingly quiet they are. My top was down on a warm spring day right after I had them installed and I was blown away by the fact that I could not hear the tires rolling at all, I had to listen hard for the whisper. Handling has been a dream so far, I've had them since spring and I put the car away mid-October. I did a long highway trip to British Columbia from the prairies and it was a beautiful drive through the mountains with these. Awesome ride, great cornering, excellent through any rain and super responsive all the way through. I've found city driving to be really good too, very precise steering. I rave about these tires to my friends and do not hesitate recommending them. I can't really speak to tread wear just yet but the tread looks pretty much the same after the first season of driving with equal city and highway miles (about 5,000 total).

...The tread wear is minimal giving the mileage...
I have had these tires on my daily commuter car, a 2013 Nissan Leaf, for three years and just under 22,500 miles and love them. A Nissan Leaf is not a sports car, but being electric (meaning all of your torque is available from the moment you put your foot down on the accelerator) it does put some grind to the tires (even when on city streets and in traffic). These have held up very nicely. The tread wear is minimal giving the mileage. The tires are very quiet, which is very important given that road noise is about all I hear since the car is electric. They track well, give good grip starting and stopping, and do well in rain. I have only driven on them in very light snow and they did fine, but as a summer tire you wouldn't want to go out in real snow with them. Living in the Southeast means I don't have to worry about snow very often. Although not an "eco focused" tire, they seem to give slightly better range per charge than the OE tires that came with the car. Considering the price, these have been a great purchase. Since I put so few miles on every year, it will be a long time before I need new tires, but I would purchase these again.

I bought these tires to replace the OEM Michelins. These tires have 40K and 6mm of tread left. I rotate my tires regularly every 5K and the wear has been even on all the tires. The ride quality is pretty good and the noise level is more than acceptable. I drive in Southern California so I drive the majority of the miles on dry highway roads. The tires handle and respond very well. I will definitely buy another set, when these tires wear out.
