The P Zero Nero All Season is Pirelli's Ultra High Performance All-Season tire designed to provide all-season traction and handling. It was developed for drivers who operate their vehicles in America's various weather conditions, including in light snow.
This line originated as the P Zero Nero M+S "Pinna" line that identified Pirelli's use of a tread design that features additional sipes to enhance snow traction compared to P Zero Nero M+S tires. The sidewalls of all existing O.E. conventional and run-flat P Zero Nero M+S Pinna tires will be rebranded to add the "All Season" identification and will be available under the P Zero Nero All Season name as the line moves forward. P Zero Nero All Season tires are fully compatible with the P Zero Nero M+S Pinna tires and may be used to replace them individually, in pairs or sets.
The P Zero Nero All Season features a silica-enhanced tread compound blended to provide traction during high temperatures in the dry and low temperatures in the wet or snow. This compound is molded into an asymmetric tread design that features stable outside shoulder blocks combined with siped, continuous intermediate and center ribs that increase footprint rigidity to enhance dry grip during acceleration and braking. Shoulder grooves and circumferential channels allow water to flow through the tread design to resist hydroplaning and enhance wet traction. The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts to provide strength and durability on top of a polyester cord body.
Limited sizes of the P Zero Nero All Season are available with Pirelli Noise Cancelling System, which involves the manufacturer adhering a layer of sound-absorbing foam to the inner liner of the tire to reduce cabin noise in the vehicle. These sizes are identified on the Specs page and in the search results.

Tire Rack Test Results Pirelli P Zero Nero All Season
Testing Ultra High Performance All-Season Tires (04:01)
In the do-it-all world we live in today, it's no surprise we want one tire that can do everything: have reasonable road manners for our commute, responsive handling when a back road blast beckons, and slush and light snow winter traction.
We did a Real World Road Ride and Performance Track Drive to see if one tire really could do it all.
Customers think the Pirelli P Zero Nero All Season delivers excellent dry traction (9-10 scores) and confident wet grip, with strong hydroplaning resistance (8-10). Winter performance earns praise for light snow and slush handling (7-8), though some note reduced ice traction. Ride comfort is generally smooth (7-10), but a few mention road noise. Treadwear receives positive feedback (7-10), though scattered lower scores suggest occasional rapid wear. As an Ultra High Performance All-Season tire, it excels in dry/wet conditions and mild winter use, aligning well with its intended purpose. Most drivers report high satisfaction, particularly praising responsive handling and balanced all-weather capability.

...Wet traction and a lack of hydroplane drama are topped only by the quiet, comfortable ride. All that and it is still right there when I take the interstate on/off ramps...
As I was writing this I realized I gave this thing lots of 9's; only because nobody gets a 10. This is a ----ed good tire and an excellent value. As they have aged, they are a little less crisp, but very tolerable. I've had a lot of other 35 and 40 aspect tires and this one is my favorite by far. Wet traction and a lack of hydroplane drama are topped only by the quiet, comfortable ride. All that and it is still right there when I take the interstate on/off ramps. I have 15k on them so far & they have a 45k warranty; looks like they will get me a long way to it! Very pleased and WILL buy them again; great job Pirelli!

...They grip well wet or dry, never hydroplane, never lose traction, and don't make a peep of noise when thrown around an off ramp at highway speed...
I've had these for about 33k miles on my AWD Audi with coilovers. Considering the car's setup it'd be really easy to notice if tires were limiting handling, and with these I have no complains. They grip well wet or dry, never hydroplane, never lose traction, and don't make a peep of noise when thrown around an off ramp at highway speed. They are quite and comfortable in daily driving too. I expect to get another 5k miles out of them.
My only complaint is recently they got pretty noisy, which is common when tires wear out.
I plan to replace them with the same ones. They're been the best performing All Seasons I've used (Khumos and Contis in the past), and have also lasted the longest.

...Love the way these tires keep the car attached to the road in all conditions, but especially in wet weather...
Great tires-came as an add on my 03 Mustang as part of tire/rim upgrade. Love the way these tires keep the car attached to the road in all conditions, but especially in wet weather. Was impressed how well they do in the snow-was expecting the worst out of the rear wheel drive, but was suprised how well the tires hooked up and kept me going straight. I went through the first set at 55K mile , and am putting another set on-a fair price for the peace of mind and security you get while having fun in a sports car.

I knew I was trading some performance for winter weather traction and have not been disappointed in that regard--these are excellent performers in both sloppy slush and cold, dry snow...
I replaced my OEM Bridgestone RE050 summer tires with these Pirellis and have been generally happy with them. I knew I was trading some performance for winter weather traction and have not been disappointed in that regard--these are excellent performers in both sloppy slush and cold, dry snow. They have been very safe and predictable in the rain with very little hydroplaning through standing water. At 20,000 miles they're a little noisy at low speeds and a bit more worn than I anticipated. I need to replace them before 30,000 miles, not at 40,000 as I had hoped.
On dry pavement when compared with the OEM summer tires, there is minimal but notable lateral "swim" as the vehicle's weight shifts in turns and In quick lane changes, feeling more like flex within the tread blocks than within the sidewall, but grip remains quite high and ultimately secure, just not as immediate as with the summer tires. My confidence in spirited driving suffered initially, but with familiarity and a few thousand miles of tread wear, this effect has largely diminished.
My biggest disappointment has been some loss of grip when accelerating compared to the summer tires. After a gear change under hard acceleration, these tires bite well initially but can then break free as the turbo spools up and more power is put down. That said, it's usually not enough to engage traction control, perhaps because my car has a limited slip differential. This behavior at the limit might be different in a RWD or AWD car.
In retrospect, I underestimated how important summer tires are to maximizing performance, but given this is my daily driver, and that I have to get around in the frozen stuff, I'm happy with my choice. In the end, I can say that for the spirited driver these are an excellent compromise between performance and winter practicality.

...I've backed out of feet of snow with no problem of slippage. Driving on light snow was effortless...
This is my second set of zero Nero all season, the first were the M+S
They were great as well, but a bit noisier and less treadlife. Anyway I've backed out of feet of snow with no problem of slippage. Devi g on light snow was effortless. I work in locations that are remote windy roads. Too much fun.
I highly recommended them for any Audi Quattro drivers.

...I even drove in in some 3 inch snow in Indiana (12 month old tires) and was impressed, but I was driving with caution...
These were OEM on a 2012 VW GTI with a DGS transmission. I rotated the tires faithfully every 4,000 miles myself and checked the pressure monthly with a quality gauge. I have been very impressed with these tires in wet and dry conditions. They provide very good feedback and response. I even drove in some 3 inch snow in Indiana (12 month old tires) and was impressed, but I was driving with caution. At 18,500 miles I started to notice some slipping in the rain. A tread depth gauge indicated the tires were at 4/32. I am disappointed with the quick wear, but this seems typical on some forums (GTI IV, Mustang, etc). Dry performance is still very good. I am buying another set of P Zero Neros to see if tires from the factory wear differently than tires purchased retail. UPDATE - my second set from Tire Rack have lasted longer. After 23,000 miles they are at 7/32. Still happy with this great tire!

...not the absolute best in the dry, but this is the very best tire for the money IMHO.
I'm very happy with these tires. Very good in the rain and light snow. I never once got even remotely close to being stuck. Quiet and comfortable ride. Very good in the rain, not the absolute best tire I've had in the dry, but this is the very best tire for the money IMHO.

...Dry road traction is excellent and wet roads present no issues either... I now take very high speed, sweeping turns with ease and confidence. Before I upped the pressure, I would get tire spin and sliding when hitting a tight, sweeping turn with too much throttle...
I have a 2011 Mustang GT 5.0. I have been very impressed with this tire! Dry road traction is excellent and wet roads present no issues either. However, YOU MUST INFLATE TO AT LEAST 35PSI! The dealer had them at 32PSI and initially, I thought the tires were going to be disappointing at best. Then I read on here that 35+ PSI wakes these tires up and man, they weren't kidding! I now take very high speed, sweeping turns with ease and confidence. Before I upped the pressure, I would get tire spin and sliding when hitting a tight, sweeping turn with too much throttle. Amazingly enough, these tires grip and perform so much better with additional pressure; 36PSI seems to work best for my Mustang GT. I'm talking wet, dry or anything in between, 36PSI is the sweet spot for my car. Who would have thought that the OEM tire, which this is for my car, would provide such tremendous confidence and pleasure in a car putting down 400hp? One of the reviewers below me really hated these tires on his car. I'm left to wonder if he/she ever checked the tire pressures? When you have a car that weighs 3600lbs and is rated at 412hp and 390lb/ft of torque stock, you HAVE to run some excellent tires. Ford did an awesome job when they selected these. I cannot see myself using anything but these tires for daily driving. Of course, I'll get set up with some DR's for the track. But even with these Pirelli's, I was able to pull in a 12.79 1/4 mile time! Minimal spin leaving the line and impressive high speed performance! Braking on these tires is just as impressive on either dry or wet roads. Over all, I'm very pleased with these tires and typically, I'm highly critical of tires, nit-picking everything about them. There's just nothing to nit-pick with these.

Most customers rate comfort as excellent with scores of 9-10, praising ride quality and noise levels. A few note lower scores, but overall satisfaction remains high for all-season driving.
Fantastic tires for driving confidence, nice quite ride, firm yet comfortable ride. very stable at speeds of 100 plus mph. love the way the car feels with these tires.
The car is a Sunday driver so I can not comment much about inclimate weather driving.
They look very nice on the car.
Would buy them again.

...Although being W-rated, are MUCH superior in ride, superior in traction, and superior in noise level to the OEM tires...
Fitted to a 2006 Cadillac DTS (Front-wheel drive with traction control). Replaced the OEM S-Rated Conti junk that came with the car. Although being W-rated, are MUCH superior in ride, traction, and noise level to the OEM tires. Soon after they were installed had to drive in major snowstorm (14 inches in 12 hours). Plows could not keep up so most roads were heavy snow and ice. Tires performed very well-not as good as pure Winter tires, but I was amazed at how well they started and stopped. If you want a high performance tire that can perform in snow, this is the ONE. Tires are too new to determine wear characteristics.

...After rotating them at 20k miles they became very noisy on smooth pavement... There is also a noticeable feathering wear pattern on the tread blocks which is probably the primary cause of the noise. These tires need to be rotated every 5k miles, not the 10k that the owners manual recommends...
These tires came standard on my 2011 GTI MkVI. I had them rotated at 10k and 20k miles as recommended in the owners manual. After rotating them at 20k miles they became very noisy on smooth pavement. They now make a noticeable pulsing/growling/humming sound at slow speeds. There is also a noticeable "feathering" wear pattern on the tread blocks which is probably the primary cause of the noise. These tires need to be rotated every 5k miles, not the 10k that the owners manual recommends. If you purchase these tires, make sure to rotate them often to keep the wear even.
