The P Zero Nero All Season is Pirelli's Ultra High Performance All-Season tire designed to provide all-season traction and handling. It was developed for drivers who operate their vehicles in America's various weather conditions, including in light snow.
This line originated as the P Zero Nero M+S "Pinna" line that identified Pirelli's use of a tread design that features additional sipes to enhance snow traction compared to P Zero Nero M+S tires. The sidewalls of all existing O.E. conventional and run-flat P Zero Nero M+S Pinna tires will be rebranded to add the "All Season" identification and will be available under the P Zero Nero All Season name as the line moves forward. P Zero Nero All Season tires are fully compatible with the P Zero Nero M+S Pinna tires and may be used to replace them individually, in pairs or sets.
The P Zero Nero All Season features a silica-enhanced tread compound blended to provide traction during high temperatures in the dry and low temperatures in the wet or snow. This compound is molded into an asymmetric tread design that features stable outside shoulder blocks combined with siped, continuous intermediate and center ribs that increase footprint rigidity to enhance dry grip during acceleration and braking. Shoulder grooves and circumferential channels allow water to flow through the tread design to resist hydroplaning and enhance wet traction. The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts to provide strength and durability on top of a polyester cord body.
Limited sizes of the P Zero Nero All Season are available with Pirelli Noise Cancelling System, which involves the manufacturer adhering a layer of sound-absorbing foam to the inner liner of the tire to reduce cabin noise in the vehicle. These sizes are identified on the Specs page and in the search results.

Testing Ultra High Performance All-Season Tires (04:01)
In the do-it-all world we live in today, it's no surprise we want one tire that can do everything: have reasonable road manners for our commute, responsive handling when a back road blast beckons, and slush and light snow winter traction.
We did a Real World Road Ride and Performance Track Drive to see if one tire really could do it all.
Customers think the Pirelli P Zero Nero All Season delivers excellent dry traction (9-10 scores) and confident wet grip, with strong hydroplaning resistance (8-10). Winter performance earns praise for light snow and slush handling (7-8), though some note reduced ice traction. Ride comfort is generally smooth (7-10), but a few mention road noise. Treadwear receives positive feedback (7-10), though scattered lower scores suggest occasional rapid wear. As an Ultra High Performance All-Season tire, it excels in dry/wet conditions and mild winter use, aligning well with its intended purpose. Most drivers report high satisfaction, particularly praising responsive handling and balanced all-weather capability.

...The Pirelli's are still phenomenal, they've even taken on a crazy rainstorm with hail and I didn't have a single traction issue... (I may or may not have been doing over 60 on the highway)...
So I've had these tires for about 3000 miles now. I actually drive backroads the most (quite spiritedly at that), and these tires truly do hug the turns. I've driven All Season Performance tires before and in comparison, these are night and day difference. I'm able to out drive BMW's on some of these turns primarily due to the ability of these tires to just hug the corner. I absolutely love them, the ONLY tire that I will argue is better, is the Michelin Pilot 4s, I've driven on those in a friends car (also FWD), and they do have better wet performance as well as slightly better dry grip. However, for over a $200 difference, it wasn't worth it to me. The Pirelli's are still phenomenal, they're even taken on a crazy rainstorm with hail and I didn't have a single traction issue... (I may or may not have been doing over 60 on the highway). I digress, if you're looking for some solid summer performance in both dry and wet, I highly recommend, especially for the price. They won't disappoint. P.S: I also drive like 30,000 miles a year, so I've already driven these a fair amount and put them through almost every type of condition you can think of... No, they aren't good in the snow.

...Let's start with the good: very good dry traction, excellent wet traction, no problems when driving in too much water on the road...
I've had these tires as the front pair for 13 months and I put 15000 miles on them. At this point tires had about 60% of tread remaining. Alignment was checked when tires were installed and now one year later with no issues found.
Let's start with the good: very good dry traction, excellent wet traction, no problems when driving in too much water on the road. Tread rubber deserves compliments when it comes to traction. When tires were new road noise was not present.
The bad. These tires are the only outsider out of all tires I ever had in half a million miles of driving. #1 problem is that they have ridiculously harsh ride. The tire feels like it's undersized and overinflated. I am a big fan of all sport tires with stiff sidewalls, but this is one out of this world. Harsh, unstable, bouncy ride. I started at 40 psi and eventually dropped to 32, otherwise it was just painful to go over the cracks in the asphalt. It's feels like there is no rubber in the side wall and I am riding on high pressure air balloons... It's hard to explain that feeling, it's just so stiff unstable in the front end even on straight roads. Next issues developed over time. Noisy ride. This problem slowly came into play over 15000 miles. Tires started to develop feathering, not side to side like alignment issue, but hill-toe kind of wear when the rubber blocks of the tread are shaved front to back. The tread now looks like a centrifugal fan blade or a forward inclined mohawk. The tread could not handle the braking action of daily driving. And no tires in my life had this kind of wear even after race track events. Next problem is that tires started to develop a little bit of cupping issue on the inner edge. Again, no problems with coil over suspension nor alignment, just these tires could not handle the rated weight with 1.75 degree camber (which is typical for factory alignment on rear tires for most cars). All problems vanished when tires were replaced with Yokohama ADVAN A052

...Dry traction is absolutely stunning, I couldn't possibly imagine reaching the limits of this tire on anything but a track. Turn in is crisp, traction is endless under dry conditions, and the tires transmit everything- you know exactly what's going on underneath you...
This is a summer-only tire that I've driven about 22,000 miles on. Dry traction is absolutely stunning, I couldn't possibly imagine reaching the limits of this tire on anything but a track. Turn in is crisp, traction is endless under dry conditions, and the tires transmit everything- you know exactly what's going on underneath you. In the wet I find them prone to hydroplaning and they lose grip predictably but relatively quickly in the rain, this is especially noticeable after about eight or ten thousand miles. Do not even consider driving this tire on the snow. The MKZ is a pretty quiet car, so tire noise is prominent, but not unexpected and not excessive for the type of tire that this is.
If you are an enthusiastic driver, and have a car capable enough to warrant these tires, I highly recommend them. They're a little bit excessive for the MKZ, but in sport mode and with the factory 19 in wheels and these tires, this car approaches performance sedan capabilities.

...Traction on dry pavement is great and responsiveness is crisp and accurate.
Got these due to great sale price and very good brand after the factory Continentals wore out after only about 8000 miles. Hoping these will last a bit longer and make it to lease return but have been very impressed with the performance as well. Traction on dry pavement is great and responsiveness is crisp and accurate.

...the dry traction is great. it's no comparison to the sumitimos that were on the back before...
these are some of the smoothest riding tires I have ever had, the dry traction is great. it's no comparison to the sumitimos that were on the back before. These are for only the rear tires I'm rating, when the fronts wear out, they may get replaced with the Pirelli's.

...While PS4 tires are amazing these are very comparable and unexpectedly for a performance tire provide a quiet and very comfortable ride...
I was originally going to get Michelin PS4 but saw these on sale and read great reviews. I don''t regret it at all. While PS4 tires are amazing these are very comparable and unexpectedly for a performance tire provide a quiet and very comfortable ride. Been driving in the rain and little to no wheel spin off the line and that''s rare for me. There''s a very significant difference between the Neros and Neros GT, go for the GTs.

I'll start by saying I was thrilled to liberate my Z4 from run-flats and she was too. The ride is smoother, less noisy, more comfortable and the handling has improved significantly. I love these Pirelli's, they look great and handle better. I should have done this years ago.

...These tires are quite comfortable for street driving and are very quiet...
I've had these tires for two years. They are a good all-around performance tire.
I've now had them on the track three times, and driven long distances to two NSXPOs (2016-Orlando, 1100 miles each way and a bit less than 120 miles on the track, and 2017-Road America, 500 miles each way and around 120 track miles). Total miles on the set now is 13000! Tread is still at 6/32 on the rears after all that driving, and the fronts are 8/32 (new for both front and rear is 10/32).
These tires are quite comfortable for street driving and are very quiet. They are halfway decent on the track and manage to get through a 20-minute session without overheating, surprisingly. They certainly haven't felt greasy at the end of a session, but then again, I am not the fastest, most aggressive guy on the track.
Amazing tires in the rain. I've done long distances in torrential Florida downpours with no drama. No hydroplaning, though I never push this car in the wet.
I even drove down to Cincinnati in 20-degree weather once. Don't want to do that again! Took the first 50 slowly driven miles of the trip for the tires to warm up, but once warm, they were fine. *Disclaimer¿DON'T DO THIS UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO!!!! I HAD TO....* Above about 35 degrees, the tires warm up quickly and operate as expected.
So to conclude, these tires are a good all-around tire for someone who drives on the street, drives long distances, and does *occasional* tracking. These tires have been just right for me. If I didn't have to drive long distances for NSX meets, I'd go with stickier, shorter-treadwear tires like Dunlop Direzza Star Specs or Yoko Advan AD08Rs.

...So far the tread wear has been non-existent and I prefer the tread patterns in this tire...
Loving my new Pirelli Nero GT's. Bought these as a replacement for the OEM Dunlop tires. I was very disappointed with the Dunlop's tread wear. I live in the North East and have to put winter tires / wheel's on my car. I replaced them a bit after 30K miles. At the absolute most I had 20K miles on those tires, but it was probably more like 16-18K and they were done. Almost totally bald and the mechanic commented "you have to replace those". Summer / performance tires are not cheap so I would expect to get more life out of them. These tires are all around better I think, better handling, excellent in wet conditions, cornering is good I wouldn't say great. So far the tread wear has been non-existent and I prefer the tread patterns in this tire. They are also very well priced - for the money highly recommended. I'll update this when i get to 15K miles on the tire.

...With 14,000 miles on the Nero GTs about the only area where they probably won't match the Yoko S-Drives is in tread wear. I've rotated the Nero GTs every 6 to 7,000 miles on my front-wheel drive Mini Cooper S and I would project to get no more than about 18,000 miles out of the Nero GTs. The S-Drives gave me about 26,000 miles, all in spirited driving...
These Pirelli P Zero Nero GTs were in replacement of Yokohama S-Drives. At the 225/35 ZR18 size, the P Zero Nero GTs had a slightly lower sidewall, had a less harsh ride, were less noisy, but provided as good dry handling and even better wet handling than the Yokohama S-Drives. With 14,000 miles on the Nero GTs about the only area where they probably won't match the Yoko S-Drives is in tread wear. I've rotated the Nero GTs every 6 to 7,000 miles on my front-wheel drive Mini Cooper S and I would project to get no more than about 18,000 miles out of the Nero GTs. The S-Drives gave me about 26,000 miles, all in spirited driving. From a price point perspective, when I bought them the Nero GTs had just come out and were cheaper than the Yoko S-Drives, but as of January 2016, they're more expensive. From a looks perspective, the Yoko S-Drives have more of an angular shoulder and sidewall vs. the more rounded shoulder and sidewall of the Nero GTs.

...They have also handled spirited driving at autoX and track events well and seem to be wearing slower than the OE Bridgestone.
Had to replace the OE Bridgestone Potenza due to a road hazard (no fault of the original tire). The Nero GT was a comparable tire on paper at less than half the price of an OE replacement. So far the tires have been a great replacement tire and the extra wide adds a nice visual appeal. They have also handled spirited driving at autoX and track events well and seem to be wearing slower than the OE Bridgestone.
