Most customers rate the Pirelli P6000's wet traction between 8-10, highlighting confident wet grip and reliable hydroplaning resistance. While some scores dip to 3-5, the majority find it performs excellently as a high-performance summer tire.

I ve been using these tires for a few years now, and the grip / handling is superb even in the wet. Previous tires on this car were PZeros and the P6000 are just as good.

I rated threadwear N/A because as high performance tires, longevity doesn’t matter… I always pick tires with lowest possible threadwear ratings.
I really hope Pirelli doesn’t discontinue them !

These were the original tires that came on the car with the Sport package, and I love them. They have very good grip, both in the dry and the wet, they have a firm comfortable feel to them, such that you always know what the tires are doing. They're predictable at the limit, yet don't squeal loudly when you're about to pass that limit. I've taken them to the track twice nice and had no complaints, very perdictable on the high speed corners. And on top of that, they're very quiet and smooth on the road, both in the dry and wet. They're the best all around tires I've even owned.
Two little notes about them though.
1) They are useless in the snow. When I first got the car, the first week I had them there was still a little snow on the ground. I felt like I was on a sheet of ice. They are definitely not at all an All Season tire, but they don't pretend to be. Just wanted to warn you that they are very dangerous in the snow.
2) I track the mileage on each tank in all my cars, and I noticed recently that my mileage has been less than normal. I checked the tires and they were all around 30 psi. I pumped them back up to 45 psi this time (max is 51, so that leaves room for heat expansion) and suddenly my mileage shot back up. I'm now getting about 60 extra miles per tank. Morale of this: This tire seems to affect your mileage a lot when the pressure gets a little low more than most other tires. So I'm going to be checking my pressures once a month now.

Customers rate the Pirelli P6000's dry traction highly, with most scoring 8-10. High scores highlight responsive handling and confident grip in dry conditions, aligning with its summer tire design. A few lower ratings exist, but the majority praise its strong dry performance for spirited driving.

...Replaced a set of Michelins with the P6000's amd found that the steering responsiveness was much better.
Replaced a set of Michelins with the P6000's amd found that the steering responsiveness was much better. My only gripe is that in the wet I tend to spin the tyres a bit but I can forgive that as the Audi 100 avant is not a a light car and a fair bit of power is being applied. Braking in the wet is excellent

...There could be a little more compliance on uneven road surfaces, but overall their grip is incredible.
P6000 Sport Veloce all-season tires were the OEM tires on my Saab and were horrible with a propensity to break lose with little warning and a knack for picking up road hazards. Because of that experience, I was reluctant to go with Pirelli again, but Ive been very happy with these tires. Theyve been a great improvement. There could be a little more compliance on uneven road surfaces, but overall their grip is incredible. In addition, Ive seen my mileage improve slightly since switching. I would buy this tire again.

Most customers rate ride comfort highly with scores 7-10, noting smooth handling in dry conditions. Some lower scores suggest occasional noise concerns, but overall performance aligns well with summer tire expectations.

...The ride is surprisingly comfortable on the highway and around town...
Good set of performance tires for the money. They will handle great through cornering at high speeds. With the AWD they just hold the road while boost is running. I had these on for the first snow storm in 2004 and the traction wasnt there but what can you expect from a performance tire in the snow? The ride is suprisingly comfortable on the highway and around town. Good all around performance tire for the slightly aggressive driver.

...Connering and handling was just great and no tire squels, just the noise factor was present in highway conditions.
These were put on my lowered Integra in the start of March 2000, and I am replaceing the front two here in Feb 2001. The car was driven VERY hard and they performed exceptional in dry and great in wet. Connering and handling was just great and no tire squels, just the noise factor was present in highway conditions. I have taken the car up to 120 mph with these tires and had no problems. I believe I squeezed out 20K miles from these tires. Would have gone longer if it wasn't for my camber problems. Hey the rear still look great. Buy them, I did twice.

...Wonderful firm ride, great response, and inspire confidence, regardless of road conditions.
I love these tires. Now on my second set. Wonderful firm ride, great response, and inspire confidence, regardless of road conditions. Best tire I have tried, and great value for money. Living in Southern California, I have no need for an "all-weather" tire; if I go anywhere with snow, I'll take a 4X4. So why compromise? These tires were specifically designed for cars like mine, and not using them would be a waste.

Treadwear shows mixed results with many scores between 0-6. While some rate 9-10, frequent reports of rapid wear, premature replacement, and dissatisfaction. Excessive wear noted despite intended summer use.

Good handling tire in both dry and wet. Not too noisy. Tread life seems to be below average. I generally get 35000 miles + on my Porsche 944's P700 ZR's. I have used Pirelli tires for 30 years.

The worst set of tires I have purchased... tread life was really short... Avoid these tires and look elsewhere...
The worst set of tires I have purchased. The only highlight is pretty good dry traction. Noise level was extremely high, tread life was really short, wet traction dismal. Avoid these tires and look elsewhere. There are much better tires available for similar price.
