Pirelli pushes the performance envelope with the P6000. A totally innovative, freshly patented "new wave" tread design which incorporates an almost continuous, and therefore exceptionally stable, tread block running from the center to the shoulder of the tire, separated by elliptical water clearing channels running across the tread area. Born in CAD/CAM experiments, this unique tread design combines tread block stability with wet weather safety while minimizing noise generation. Pirelli's warranty does not cover tires that develop compound cracking due to use in ambient temperatures below 45° Fahrenheit (7° Celsius), so the P6000, like all summer tires, is not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.
With the latest generation of silica based compounds, Pirelli technologists have solved the problem of mixing silica and black fillers with synthetic polymers to provide exceptional low rolling resistance and high wet grip.
The "unseen invention" of Pirelli, the P6000 casing has been specifically designed to reduce weight and to amplify the attributes of the new tread pattern and compound combination. Reduced unsprung masses, reduced rolling resistance, enhanced comfort and up to 186 mph (300 km/hr) performance in one technological package.

Owners report excellent dry traction with consistent 8-10 scores, highlighting confident handling and grip in summer conditions. Wet traction earns strong marks (7-9 range) for most drivers, though a few note reduced confidence in heavy rain. Comfort receives praise for responsive feel, but some mention harshness over rough surfaces. Treadwear shows mixed results-while a handful report satisfactory longevity, many express frustration with rapid wear, particularly under aggressive driving. As a high-performance summer tire, it delivers on core dry/wet capabilities, but buyers prioritizing extended tread life may find its durability disappointing compared to its traction strengths.

There is nothing not to like, correction love about these tires! These tires are so smooth and so quiet! They have great traction on dry surfaces but more importantly exceptional traction on wet surfaces. In addition they look great!
I previously owned the Pirelli Cinturato p7 AS 2 which was the predecessor to this tire. I had never owned Pirelli's prior to that and really thought that tire could not be improved on. I was wrong. This tire is an improvement. This tires most noticeable improvement is in an area noise and smoothness. The previous tire was very good this tire is excellent in that category! I can't speak to tread yet I have put about 2,300 miles on this tire so far. I highly recommend this tire if you're looking for a exceptional grand touring tire!

Great tires!
Put them on an 07 focus and they excel. Ive had to come to a complete stop on a highway in rain with traffic and the tires handled it flawlessly. I have no ABS or Traction Control on this vehicle so excellent tires are a must. I drive 700-1000 miles a week and these tires are the best I've ever had. Haven't driven in snow yet but the tread is great and the warranty is long so I'm hoping they continue to do exceed expectations.

Amazing tire in dry conditions. Feels like a summer tire, very responsive, very firm, very fun...
Amazing tire in dry conditions. Feels like a summer tire, very responsive, very firm, very fun. However these tires under performed in the wet. I had no issues with hydroplaning, but the tires would break loose while cornering and accelerating. Id recommend for a mostly dry warm climate. Not great in the northeast

Holds the road like a slot car, rain or shine... Really love how this car handles in the corners.
Holds the road like a slot car, rain or shine. Tires hardly broken in cause it handles like new. Best handling tires, best noiseless tire, just need to use them more to judge wear and tear. Really love how this car handles in the corners.

...They perform well in the dry and rain, a very small amount of noise but that could also be attributed to my car having 250K on it...
I have always been a Pirelli person, so these were a good choice for my work car. They perform well in the dry and rain, a very small amount of noise but that could also be attributed to my car having 250K on it. Normally come winter, I put on a separate set of snow tires, but I have had these on during snowstorms and they handle decent, unless its wet packed, then they get a little slippery. Overall happy with this choice.

Most customers rate ride comfort 8-10, praising smooth handling and noise reduction typical of high-performance summer tires. While some note occasional firmness, scores show strong satisfaction with refined driving dynamics in dry conditions.

...The ride is super comfortable and plush. I definitely hear how much quieter the ride is compared to the Michelin Energy Saver, but I can't remember how quiet they were when I first got the car. I mainly drive freeway, and when I change lanes and go over the reflectors, it feels super soft and not like I'm going over anything.
Ride: The ride is super comfortable and plush. I definitely hear how much quieter the ride is compared to the Michelin Energy Saver, but I can't remember how quiet they were when I first got the car. I mainly drive freeway, and when I change lanes and go over the reflectors, it feels super soft and not like I'm going over anything. The steering response is definitely quicker and feels very responsive. The feel on center though feels a little numb and kind of feels like there's a little play, but once you move past the center free play, it is super responsive.
MPG: During first miles, my average mpg dropped between 4 and 5 miles. Now though, it looks like I've lost between 2 and 3mpg compared to OEM tires. Overall, the way theses tire drive, the loss is worth it.
It rained yesterday here in Socal so I got to experience the tires wet handling capability. This is the most extreme difference I saw between the Michelin Energy Saver and the P7 AS Plus 3. The traction in the rain with the P7 was absolutely amazing! It was actual rain, not drizzle or light rain, it was proper rain falling and the handling was excellent. These tires tracked great and I could feel them maintain traction even when I drove over patches of standing water in the freeway. Driving between 50 and 75mph in the freeway, I felt confidence that I didn't have driving the Michelin.
Overall these tires are amazing and would recommend them to anyone looking for a quiet, responsive and safe ride.

I have recently purchased these tires about a week ago, and they're great! They really grip on the road wet or dry and even through tough cornering. I already put about 500 miles on them. I would definitely consider anyone to purchase these tires for their vehicle. Makes for a smooth, comfortable, sporty ride.

Many customers report disappointing tread life with scores between 0-6, citing rapid wear and needing early replacement. While some give 9s-10s, frequent mentions of premature wear raise concerns for a high-performance summer tire.

...A year in they look like new. Really impressed with the tread wear.
Because my SUV is front wheel drive (i.e. Front tires do all the pulling, steering, and 90% of the braking) I wanted a tire that would hold up. A year in they look like new. Really impressed with the tread wear.
