Most customers rate the Pirelli P6000's wet traction between 8-10, highlighting confident wet grip and reliable hydroplaning resistance. While some scores dip to 3-5, the majority find it performs excellently as a high-performance summer tire.

I ve been using these tires for a few years now, and the grip / handling is superb even in the wet. Previous tires on this car were PZeros and the P6000 are just as good.

I rated threadwear N/A because as high performance tires, longevity doesn’t matter… I always pick tires with lowest possible threadwear ratings.
I really hope Pirelli doesn’t discontinue them !

...While driving in the rain, the tires grip the road as if it was dry inspiring great confidence!!...
The Pirelli P6000 has been an excellent tire from the time of first purchase. The tires have been quiet and comfortable as well as grippy in the dry and particularly in the wet! While driving in the rain, the tires grip the road as if it was dry inspiring great confidence!!
An excellent tire and they are wearing extremely well with plenty of tread left at 20,000 miles even though I drive aggressively!
I would highly recommend this excellent tire to anyone!!

...Very good tire in the wet as well...
This is my second set of P6000 and I love them. In the past I used PZeros on this car but they were no longer available in 15 size. Excellent grip and terrific handling make them perfect for spirited driving.
Very good tire in the wet as well
When looking for tires I always go for the lowest threadwear to maximize grip. Yes the P6000 isnt cheap and being softer they wont last much over 10k miles but the tires are the only part of my car which touches the road...

Customers rate the Pirelli P6000's dry traction highly, with most scoring 8-10. High scores highlight responsive handling and confident grip in dry conditions, aligning with its summer tire design. A few lower ratings exist, but the majority praise its strong dry performance for spirited driving.

...They have very good dry traction, and decent wet...
The Pirelli P6000 were the OEM tires on my 2001 S4 sedan. They have very good dry traction, and decent wet. They have only 20,000 miles, yet are getting close to replacement (The car has 58,000 miles, but most of the miles have been with snow tires on separate wheels). Save for very sharp cornering, I generally prefer the car with the snow tires. The P6000s got quite noisy after only a few thousand miles -- sounds like Im driving a big truck (as a previous reviewer also said). I will choose an alternative next time.

...I love the performance of the tires and dry weather.
this tire is a modern tire compared to what originally came on my car. I can appreciate the safety aspect of the new technology in this tire is the slip angles in corners do not approach that of the original tires that came on this car.
Aesthetically these do not resemble what came on the car originally however, I overlook that because I love the performance of the tires and dry weather. in wet weather I drive with extreme caution.

Most customers rate ride comfort highly with scores 7-10, noting smooth handling in dry conditions. Some lower scores suggest occasional noise concerns, but overall performance aligns well with summer tire expectations.

Treadwear shows mixed results with many scores between 0-6. While some rate 9-10, frequent reports of rapid wear, premature replacement, and dissatisfaction. Excessive wear noted despite intended summer use.

...They wore very quickly...
I bought these tires to replace Centennial Interceptor 2 tires which I could longer get. I had heard good things about Pirelli so I opted for these. They were terrible! Road noise was horrible and anything other than smooth driving was not good. They wore very quickly. I would never consider buying these tires again for any car I have.

...With pretty much the lowest thread wear rating for road tires, they don't last very long, I usually get 7-8000 miles out of them. But well worth it.
My fourth or fifth set of P6000. Great tires for agressive driving. Love them. With pretty much the lowest thread wear rating for road tires, they don’t last very long, I usually get 7-8000 miles out of them. But well worth it.
