Most customers rate wet traction highly with 9s and 10s, highlighting confident braking and grip in wet conditions. Some scores between 5-6 note occasional concerns, but overall performance excels for all-season use.

These tires are great! The stopping is phenomenal, they stick well in the curves (and Ive tried to get them to let go), and don't hydroplane- even at 80. I think I would roll my truck before they let go. My truck feels very planted and stable- it felt skatey on the stockers. I now have over 30000 miles on them and it looks like I'll get at least 10-15k more. This is way better than I expected for this type of tire and my kind of driving. The road noise seems to come and go, but has never been objectionable, although they got pretty loud in the curves when they were newer. I couldn't be happier with these tires and will definitely buy them again- highly recommended and worth the money.

...I had no problems on wet roads. The biggest difference was the braking on wet roads. With my factory tires, the ABS would kick in early when I braked on wet roads... With the Pirellis, the ABS quit engaging...
The Pirelli Scorpion Zeros are by far the best value for the money. These tires perform as well or better than the higher priced brands. Pirelli has come a long way and now should always be on your list of brands to consider. Right off the UPS truck, the Pirellis were tacky to the touch and I knew I had picked the right tire. These tires are at their best when on dry pavement. They grab the road and don't let go. We do not get much snow and ice here in Oklahoma, so my reviews on the slick stuff is very limited. I had no problems on wet roads. The biggest difference was the braking on wet roads. With my factory tires, the ABS would kick in early when I braked on wet roads. Of course this was partly due to worn tires; but they did it well before they were worn down. With the Pirellis, the ABS quit engaging. I will buy Pirellis again.

These tires are much better in wet conditions than my original equipment general tires. I have added many performance items to my truck. My factory tires would slip and scare me in water. With these tires I can actually accelerate to normal speeds without tire slippage. They are great in dry conditions also. I will definitely purchase a new set when my tires wear.14000 miles and still going strong and look new.

Dry traction receives mostly 9-10 scores, with customers praising responsive handling and reliable grip. While some ratings between 5-8 exist, performance excels in its all-season street/sport truck focus.

...Dry cornering and handling in general is superior...
I chose these tires for the price and the performance profile and have not been disappointed. Some reviewers remarked about excessive noise, but I have not noticed it to be a problem. Dry cornering and handling in general is superior, and wet traction is way better than the OEMs. The only problem I have is on snow, but that it not much of a concern here in central Oklahoma. The appearance of these tires also definitely adds to their appeal. The only real drawback so far is that they are extremely heavy, so if youre worried about unsprung weight, look elsewhere, and it makes them a bit difficult to balance properly. Tread wear seems to be at least as good as advertised. Overall, Im very pleased with these tires and am seriously considering a set for my wifes Rodeo. I would buy them again, if I keep my vehicle that long.

...On highways, city stop-and-go, the Pirellis are SUPERB - a bit noisy, yes - thats the price to pay for reassurance and control when slamming the brakes from 90mph, or when driving in the rain. These tires do not let you down...
First of all, my style of driving is German - I drive fast, brake hard, and enjoy cornering. My other car is a Mercedes. Previously BMW.
To the tires, obviously a HUGE improvement over the OEM Wrangler "tires" - lose those ASAP when you buy the vehicle. They absolutely stink - for my driving style.
On highways, city stop-and-go, the Pirellis are SUPERB - a bit noisy, yes - thats the price to pay for reassurance and control when slamming the brakes from 90mph, or when driving in the rain. These tires do not let you down. Wear could be better - but, with the way I drive... guess not. :-)
I have driven the car on a fair amount of northern california dirt road trails - and pretty good performance in the dirt - mostly thanks to the Discos constant 4WD, traction control and ABS - the tires really arent made for the dirt. Still, I felt in control even going through gravel curves with four-wheel slides.
Highly recommend these, they are getting to the point of replacement soon (likely within 5,000 miles) and Ill trade to 19" wheeels but also with Pirellis.
BTW, Im an engineer, formerly in the automotive industry, I did exhaustive research before settling on the Pirellis - I can definitely recommend them for anyone except those who enjoy driving in the mud.

...Since owning these tires, for the past month, I have been unable to break them loose while cornering, despite seriously aggressive driving. My trucks handling is ONLY limited by its suspension... The handling literally blows me away! I can out corner most street cars, including my 97 Honda Prelude (a sports car!).
These are some of the BEST tires I have ever owned. I have driven cars and trucks with tires from just about EVERY manufacturer.
When it comes to performance TRUCK tires these tires are the ONLY way to go! They provide unfadeable performance. Since owning these tires, for the past month, I have been unable to break them loose while cornering, despite seriously aggressive driving. My trucks handling is ONLY limited by its suspension. I have a full performance suspension 2" and 4" drop/lowering with hotchkis springs, Edelbrock shocks. With these suspension mods and my new Scorpion zeros my truck is unstoppable! The handling literally blows me away! I can out corner most street cars, including my 97 Honda Prelude (a sports car!).
Anyway if you are looking for THE best handling truck tire then go for the Scorpion Zeros, you WILL NOT be disappointed!!!

These are the best tires I’ve ever had on a vehicle. Minimal road noise and such a smooth ride. You will be going 70 on the highway, and these tires make it feel like you are going 40. The traction and response of steering is impeccable. You may pay a premium for these, but if these traits listed above matter to you, it is worth it.

...Most remarkable is their hydroplaning resistance- even at unsafe speeds the vehicle will not hydroplane. (unsafe- speed at which it is raining hard enough that even the wipers cannot keep up with the rain)
Although many may dismiss a 4runner with 20 inch wheels (Moda r7) and scorpion zeros (295/45/20) as a street only vehicle, the performance would dictate otherwise. Absolutely no loss in climbing traction vs. OEM (265/75/16).
Cornering has been greatly improved (probably due to the increased footprint of tire) and the wear is very good. I am currently running 40 psi.
To give an idea what type of cornering we are talking about- if a highway offramp says 35- I can go 60. If it says 15, I can go 35. This is not in a sports-car but in a SUV(!).
When I was running 32 psi, I noticed that the side blocks were wearing unevenly- 40psi resulted in a slightly tighter ride, but mileage is up- approx .5 mpg. I have rotated the tires every 6000 miles and have plenty of extra wear until the wear indicators will touch- approx 1/8 inch. Probably another 15-20k left in them.
Pirelli says they will go 50k-
Most remarkable is their hydroplaning resistance- even at unsafe speeds the vehicle will not hydroplane. (unsafe- speed at which it is raining hard enough that even the wipers cannot keep up with the rain)
I rarely drive as I described- but I am a firm believe of knowing the limitations of ones equipment- Scorpion zeros definitely give me peace of mind that I have the best tires for the safety of my family.

...In the snow they do not have good traction by turning, stopping, or takeoff.
These tires are very responsive, meaning they track on the slightest groove on the road. You have to keep your hands on the steering wheel at all times. You never know when the tire wants to deviate from the lane you are in. However on even asphalt, dry or wet these tires handle great. In the snow they do not have good traction by turning, stopping, or takeoff.

Do not buy this tire unless you area willing to buy them again within the year. I can't believe Pirelli put a product out with such a poor tread life. Very good winter performance. I wish they would have lasted 7-8 winters since they are on the car for only 4-5 months a year as snow tires. VERY DISAPPOINTED in these. BUYER BEWARE Less than 50% tread life in under 6 months.
