The WildPeak A/T Trail is Falken's On-Road All-Terrain tire developed for drivers of crossovers and SUVs who crave adventure and want a tire with the durability to explore off-road, yet matches the dynamic characteristics of modern crossover vehicles on the road. The WildPeak A/T Trail is designed to deliver rugged capability and aggressive good looks combined with pleasant on-road manners, confident dry and wet traction, and light snow performance sufficient to earn the tire industry's severe snow service certification and three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.

Falken WildPeak A/T Trail Callouts

The WildPeak A/T Trail is engineered to complement the unibody construction of crossovers and small SUVs to deliver durability and enhanced handling year-round. The silica-enriched compound is molded into a purposeful, symmetric pattern and is designed to provide durability and longevity over a wide range of conditions and temperatures. Wet traction is enhanced by the high-silica compound along with the notches and edges of the independent tread blocks. Deep starting tread depths, open shoulders, and wide, circumferential grooves aid hydroplaning resistance where standing water is present. The upper sidewall features a rugged construction and over-the-shoulder ribs to help prevent punctures from rocks, sticks and other terrain encountered off-road. Falken's 3D Canyon sipes interlock below the surface for stability in all conditions while also creating biting edges that enhance light snow and ice traction and help the tire earn the 3PMSF symbol.

Falken WildPeak A/T Trail tires allow drivers to personalize their vehicles by offering dual sidewall designs on every tire. One side features traditional, serrated lettering, while the other has a raised, three-dimensional style. All tires feature both designs, allowing drivers to choose their look based on which is mounted outward on the wheel.

A two-ply, polyester casing enhances durability without compromising ride quality. Twin, high-strength steel belts support the tread area and are reinforced by a polyamide cap ply, improving handling and providing high-speed capability.

Popular Tires for America's Most Popular Vehicles – 2025 Test 8 - With Winter Update(39:51)

The Crossover, or CUV, is hands-down the most popular vehicle in America. Last year in our CUV test, we used the Alfa Romeo Stelvio to test all-season and all-weather touring tires. This year, the field expanded to include all-terrain and performance truck products, representing the full range of tires drivers are installing on these vehicles. Obviously, with a test this diverse, it’s not so much about which one tire rises to the top, but rather how each category brings its own strengths to the table. When comparing multiple tires from one category, it's how they stack up against each other. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy Test 8!

...even when driving in rain, on wet roads, it feels no different than when on dry roads!...

What an excellent tire! Had these for a year now and have put just alittle over 8,000 miles on them! They handle the road very well and even when driving in rain, on wet roads, it feels no different than when on dry roads! They also do a great job in the snow and ice, very confidence inspiring! They also look amazing on my vehicle giving it a more rugged, sporty, and appropriate look given the fact it’s an SUV! They definitely have more traction and grip than the stock, factory, all season tires did! So far, I would definitely purchase this tire again, and for now on I am only going with all terrain tires for my SUV over regular all seasons!

...outstanding in wet as well...

The tire is perfect for a light duty SUV that is expected to have some off road capability, say up to class 3 trails. In the world of on/off road compatible SUVS, the comparatively fragile Bronco Sport is probably the true limiting factor here, not the tire. Does well on the open road, tracks straight, good turn in for the class, somewhat loud over most road surfaces, road imperfections are mid range loud for class, but remains planted without bounce. I have driven this tire in light snow and it was somewhat tolerable , but do not consider any un-studded snow/ice tire as a family safe, and my ratings reflect this. Tread wear is even, and appears to be a 25,000 mile tire, given it is driven hard thru twisty mountain turns, outstanding in wet as well. Handles very well for class.

Not a hint of waggle on ice or snow, excellent tires all around.

On my stock height Mini they rub a little on the rear under acceleration and some bumps but very minor and well worth the performance of the tires.

Make my front wheel drive Mini handle like it's all wheel drive.

...They got me up my steep gravel driveway even when there was ice. Yes, it slid a little, but you can't expect perfection from non studded tires. Even another Subaru owner neighbor slid and got stuck, when I didn't...

Living in the mountains where we see light to moderate snowfall; tons of rain; a plethora of turns and daily gravel road usage has led me to these tires for my 05 Subaru Outback 3.0R. It has been a year now and I’m very happy with them. They got me up my steep gravel driveway even when there was ice. Yes, it slid a little, but you can’t expect perfection from non studded tires. Even another Subaru owner neighbor slid and got stuck, when I didn’t. I guess they didn’t have these tires! I glided by them up the hill! I’m impressed by how quiet they are, too. If I get half the treadlife (32K miles which is about 2.5 years of use) I’ll be happy. Gravel eats up tires. As does a lot of turning. Oh, and I do a 5 tire rotation every 5K miles and make sure they stay properly inflated. We’ll see how long they last. So far so good.

Amazing tires for my small SUV. Was surprised by the dry traction on spirited driving on the mountain highway roads. Plenty of grip for my small off road adventures on dirt, and gravel roads of Boone NC area. They need a bit more grip on wet take off but the Quattro sorts it out .
No snow driving yet till 2025 Snow season here in Boone NC.

...Both dry and wet traction has been very good, similar to the original Falken Ziex...

I had 20s and downsized to 18's. Ride quality improved and am no longer worry about curb rashes. Snow traction has been excellent for the amount we receive in Indianapolis. Ice traction could be better but these are not winter tires. I was worried about noise but this is a non-issue. Both dry and wet traction has been very good, similar to the original Falken Ziex. No commplaints in corner either though can squel abit as compared to 20's Overall, a good and happy buy. Driven down some dirt roads and it was definitely an improvement over OEM Falken. Will need to see how treadwear holds up as I only have just under 20000mi right now.

The tire has steering response, ride and quietness better or matching the OEM tire. Originally, I planned on using this tire as a winter only tire. However, since the performance on dry pavement has exceeded my expectations, and the treadwear is acceptable, this tire will be my year rounder for the Santa Cruz. The oversize fitment has not created any rubbing issues and the speedometer reads about 2.5 % lower. I am very pleased with this purchase.

This is, so far, the best set of tires I've put on my car. For a winter rated, all season, all terrain tire, I was surprised by how quiet they are. The loudest noise I hear when driving on dry pavement are the engine (which is not that loud) and the air rushing past the car. I do not hear the tires at all (even with the windows down). Traction has been very good in all the conditions I've driven it in: city streets, highway, and dirt roads that are dry, wet, or snow covered. I credit the reinforced nature of the tires to the fact that I have not had any punctures to date. They also look great on my Subaru.

After more than 4 years and 70,000 miles in the Midwest and mountains. Through blizzards, deep snow and icy conditions I know I can trust this tire to get us safely up the mountain on a pow day in my outback. At 70,000 miles I’m looking for a new set with winter approaching even though I’m not even at the wear bars yet, but it’s close enough. I’ve got more life out of these than I ever expected to and the traction is excellent in less than ideal conditions.

...Tire life has exceed all expectations and I'll be replacing the tires soon with the same... I highly recommend these tires for the tire life alone.

Purchased a tire and wheel package from Tire Rack for my 2019 Rav4 in 2020. 235/55/19. Tire life has exceed all expectations and I'll be replacing the tires soon with the same. 3 years in NJ and experienced all types of weather, snow, rain, ice, and some off road experiences in nearby lake communities during the winter. These tires certainly don't bite like my previous KO2's but they are in a different category with less aggressive tread and met all expectations for performance. Live in Phoenix Az now and the tires have performed well with some limited offroad excursions on gravel roads and hills. I highly recommend these tires for the tire life alone.
