The Eagle Sport All-Season is Goodyear's Ultra High Performance All-Season radial developed for the drivers of sports cars, coupes, sedans and performance-oriented light trucks looking to combine sporty handling with all-season traction. Eagle Sport All-Season tires are designed to offer drivers all-season versatility in dry and wet conditions with year-round traction, even in light snow.

The Eagle Sport All-Season features an innovative all-season tread compound molded into a large surface tread contact area asymmetric design to offer consistent performance across a broad range of vehicles. Linked outboard shoulder blocks backed by notched center ribs and connected inboard shoulder blocks enhance steering response, handling and wear. Circumferential grooves help evacuate water to increase traction in wet weather, while full-depth sipes preserve foul-weather traction as the tire wears.

The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped polyamide to combine uniform ride quality with high-speed capability. One of the Eagle Sport All-Season tire line's highlights is its internal construction that features Goodyear's RaceWrap Construction Technology developed for the Eagle Race tires used in NASCAR competition. RaceWrap Construction Technology brings a polyester cord casing ply down the sidewall at a slight angle, wraps around the bead and returns it all the way up the sidewall until it ends under the edge of the steel belts. This slightly angled, two-ply sidewall enhances steering response and handling stability.

Goodyear Eagle Sport All-Season Reviews

Customers think the Goodyear Eagle Sport All-Season delivers excellent dry traction and responsive handling, with many ratings in the 9-10 range. Wet traction receives strong marks for grip and hydroplaning resistance, though some note reduced confidence in heavy rain. Winter performance shows adequate light snow capability but struggles on ice, aligning with its all-season design. The tire offers a comfortable ride with low noise levels, and treadwear ratings suggest impressive longevity for daily driving. While most feedback is positive, a few users mention minor trade-offs in extreme conditions, but overall satisfaction remains high for its intended use.

...These tires have excellent grip in both wet and dry conditions...

You can't beat these tires for the price. Yes, their are better tires you can purchase, but you'll be paying a lot more. These tires have excellent grip in both wet and dry conditions. Ride noise is to a minimum, just cant beat these tires for the price.

One of the best all season tires with a higher than normal degree of dry and wet traction...

One of the best all season tires with a higher than normal degree of dry and wet traction with the compromise being snow. These are not much better than Summer tires in the snow and actually pretty bad on untreated snow covered roads. As long as you know this and drive accordingly, these are GREAT tires for those who have winters with mostly well prepared roads.

...The traction on wet pavement is outstanding... I have previously owned several Toyota Celicas and Honda Civic SI Coupes in the past with BF Goodrich TA's, Michelin Pilot Sport and Cooper Zeon RS, Tires and none could handle dry and wet pavement as well at these tires.

These tires came standard on my 2017 Civic SI Coupe and they may be the best over all tire I have ever owned. The traction on wet pavement is outstanding and the handling on Dry Pavement is second to none. ...Regarding snow traction, I had very low expectations. These are a high performance tire for sports cars and sporty sedans that seldom see much snow. While I don't live in an especially wintery area, when we have gotten snow, these vastly exceeded my expectations...

This tire is not for SUVs but I traded for a set that were the right size and figured I would give them a shot. I'm very impressed. Especially with light to moderate snow traction and the tread wear, where performance tires often lack. These 50k mile tires and I put well over that on them and still have about 4/11ths left. They could definitely go another 5000 miles no problem if they hadn't gotten damage from road debris. I did NOT expect them to last that long, especially on a RAV4 prime, which has tremendous torque and is quite heavy, yet they have proven to be VERY long lasting. Regarding snow traction, I had very low expectations. These are a high performance tire for sports cars and sporty sedans that seldom see much snow. While I don't live in an especially wintery area, when we have gotten snow, these vastly exceeded my expectations. They generally inspired confidence, worked well in conjunction with the vehicle traction system (something that has not worked out well with other tires, where the car seems to be fighting with the tires and they never seem to work together well) and most importantly, they were very predictable when they began to lose traction. This lets you make corrections before it's too late.
The dry and wet grip, cornering and general responsiveness is very good to excellent, despite the vehicle weight. Cornering grip is as good as I would ever want, even when I feel the urge to use all the torque my 3 electric motors and gas engine can deliver. Again, at the limits, they were predictable and fairly forgiving. They were also impressive in their on road manners
They are very quiet for a performance tire, with little ringing over large bumps and no discernable gr. They track well. They stop well. There's really no aspect of this tire's performance that is lacking. The only reason I'm not buying another set is price, and the fact that I would like a 70k+ mile tire, BUT, l may very well regret my decision to switch to pirelli scorpions.

...The car handles remarkably well and predictably and seems to do well enough in the rain. I did start to hydroplane a couple of times, but that was during an extremely heavy day of rain with standing water at times -- I assume no tire could have done much better at highway speeds...

Bought my 2019 A8L with 23K miles in 2022. It came with factory-mounted Goodyear Eagle Sports. I now have 46K on the tires and they have performed well and only now are showing signs of needing replacement (front more than rear - I probably missed a rotation). Its a very large sedan, but I am a spirited driver and take curvy roads to/from town and access to the highways where put a lot of miles. The car handles remarkably well and predictably and seems to do well enough in the rain. I did start to hydroplane a couple of times, but that was during an extremely heavy day of rain with standing water at times -- I assume no tire could have done much better at highway speeds. Only complaint is I do hear some tire whir on the highway, but it's possible that's more a product of the car having so little wind noise inside and not so much the tires. Regardless, I am here to buy another set due to their solid handling and excellent tread wear. I've always been a Michelin fan, but the last set on my Audi A6, as great as they handled, were rather loud on the highway. This is a luxury car I spend more time on the highway in than my last car, so I have no reservations getting another set of these Eagle Sports - especially at $150 less per tire.

...wet traction leaves a little to be desired...

I bought my set in Oct. 2015, for my daily driver. Since then I have added a couple vehicles to my fleet and don't drive the car daily, especially in inclement weather, though it still is my primary vehicle. Currently I am needing new tires, so I thought I'd check the life I got from these. I can't believe they've held up to almost 10 years and over 50k miles of use and abuse. I drive spirited on a lot of backroads with coarse pavement, and they've seen their share of gravel. They still hold air without any major leaks, though they have gotten a bit noisier, and wet traction leaves a little to be desired. Almost twice the mileage of the Kuhmo's I had prior.

...Sticks far better in the wet than my old "Summer tires" and at least as well or better in the dry...

I'm very happy with this choice of tire. Not sure what I'd get if I tried to find a better tire. These are everything I expected they would be. Confidence inspiring on wet roads as well as dry. Sticks far better in the wet than my old "Summer tires" and at least as well or better in the dry. The howl and squeal of the tire at the limit is much more normal than the old summer tires, and they have a very predictable feel to them. Now I can use the car in cold weather and only the government addition of corrosive road salt will keep me off the road.

...Steering response is crisp but ride isn't harsh...

Good all-around tire for sporty vehicles. It''s not great at any one thing, but it''s pretty good at a lot. Steering response is crisp but ride isn''t harsh. Tread noise isn''t low, but it''s not the loudest, and the noise is a good "white noise" blend that isn''t intrusive. For comparison, Michelin AS4s are as loud or louder than these worn tires. Grip is good, not great. Wet traction is a low point. Biggest issue is wear -- tires tend to lose small chunks/edges of tread if pushed in hot weather. These tires started off with low single digit roadforce values (very smooth!) but by 19k mi 2 of them were over 20 lbs roadforce. If you''re mindful and don''t drive these too aggressively, I think they''re a great all around tire. For the price, I think these are pretty good tires.

Tesla vs. BMW: Do Tires Matter?(14:23)

Do the tires make the car, or does the car make the tires? We took our Tesla Model 3 and our BMW 3 Series and ran the same test on the same tires. These are very similar vehicles aside from powertrains, as they’re both AWD sedans, and used a select grouping of both EV and non-EV Ultra High Performance All-Season tires to see where the results are similar and where they vary.

5 UHPAS Tires Tested on the BMW 330i X-Drive(16:17)

The Ultra High Performance All-Season category represents the highest level of spirited driving while retaining some level of four-season drivability. In this grouping, category standouts from previous years are up against a newcomer. When put through their paces on the road and on our test track, who will emerge on top? Watch the test to see the results!

Best Tires for Tesla Model 3 Performance: 5 UHPAS Tires Tested (20:39)

The Ultra High Performance All-Season category is a popular choice for EV owners, especially Tesla Model 3 drivers. We took five tires from this category, both EV and non-EV-focused, to compare handling, performance, braking, and efficiency on our own Model 3. Some of these tires are stalwarts, and one is a brand-new offering, but there’s truly something for everyone looking for a UHPAS tire that fits their needs.
