The BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3, AKA the BFG KO3, is the 3rd generation of BFGoodrich's legendary Off-Road All-Terrain light truck tire engineered for the on and off-road tire needs of dedicated off-roaders like Jeeps, pickup trucks and 4x4 sport utility vehicles. It's built for drivers who want rugged confidence and control no matter where their journey takes them. Following up the wildly-successful All-Terrain T/A KO2, the KO3 has been carefully designed to retain the aggressive (and classic) visual elements of BFGoodrich all terrain tires, while delivering outstanding durability, improved wear-life and traction in all weather conditions—even light snow.

Available in LT fitments, load ranges, and sizes beyond 35 inches, the KO3 features a reformulated cut, chip, and tear-resistant tread compound for greater longevity and durability. Molded into a symmetric footprint designed with a generous amount of void for off-road use, while also optimizing the footprint for more even stress distribution and uniform wear. The interlocking tread blocks are designed to work in concert with one another for stability both on and off the pavement. Broad channels at the shoulders and plenty of void space to redistribute water help maintain control in the wet. The 3-D Locking Sipes are full depth and alongside the Snow/Mud notches, are designed to help drivers find the traction they need in any environment.

The upper shoulder and sidewall feature CoreGuard Technology: a bruise- and split-resistant rubber compound that extends further down the sidewall to protect more of the tire in demanding scenarios. Alternating Shoulder Scoops deliver clawing force for control and traction in sand, dirt, or grueling off-road rock driving during "aired down" adventures, while the Mud Phobic bars keep the tire clear of built-up material so it can perform as intended. And as always, the KO3 is available with raised white sidewall lettering—perfect for making your tires and wheels pop, complementing your truck's paint, or making your classic 4x4 look the part.

Internal construction of the All-Terrain T/A KO3 utilizes a durable, triple-ply polyester casing designed for strength and reliability, along with twin, high-strength steel belts providing a robust foundation for the nylon cap ply offering high-speed capability.

NOTE: BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 tires meet the industry's severe snow service requirements and are branded with the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.

BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 Reviews

Feedback consistently shows the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 delivers excellent dry traction (9-10 scores dominate) and reliable wet performance, with hydroplaning resistance frequently rated 8-10. Winter traction earns praise for confident snow handling, though ice scores occasionally dip to 7-8. Comfort receives strong marks for ride quality, though some note minor road noise. Treadwear ratings (7-10) highlight durability in rugged conditions, aligning with all-terrain expectations. Customers emphasize balanced off-road capability and on-road manners, with many highlighting the tire's versatility across mixed surfaces. While most categories show consistent high performance, a few lower ice traction scores suggest prioritizing winter-specific tires for extreme icy conditions.

...TKO3's appear to be very grippy on wet/dry roads...

So far, so good! I was running TKO2’s since purchasing the Tundra (hybrid) in 2022. Just cutover to TKO3’s and so far, so good. TKO3’s appear to be very grippy on wet/dry roads. I went as wide as possible without any modifications and it rides and handles the way the truck should!

Fantastic tires. I had the KO2's that came with my 2019 Jeep and compared to those tires, there is a VERY noticeable improvement in wet-road traction. SO much better!!! As one of the features touted for the KO3 in comparison to the KO2 (i.e. better wet road traction), it is nice to see that they really do what they say. Haven't had snow yet... and haven't ben off-road yet, but I'm expecting performance on par with the KO2s - which was solid. Wins all around!

...These tires are quieter than expected and absolutely amazing in deep snow...

Replaced the KO2's that were on the vehicle when I purchased (used). These tires are quieter than expected and absolutely amazing in deep snow, grippy on rock and trail and smooth on the highway. The only thing left is treadwear and still looking good w 18k on the tires. Would def buy again.

Wet and dry traction/cornering/braking are excellent for an AT tire. Ride quality and noise are much improved versus my previous set of KO2's.

...Wet and dry traction has been great as well...

My only complaint with these tires is I had a hard time getting them to balance. I got them road force balanced and it helped tremendously. Otherwise these are some of the best A/T tires I've had, they are are extremely tough i drive lots of rough back roads with mud and rock and they do great. Best part is honestly the snow performance I've taken them up some really rough snow covered hills and roads with no issues. Wet and dry traction has been great as well. Can't comment on treadwear I'm only 6k in on them

These tires are very good and quite quiet... I'm very comfortable in the tires and feel safe in rain...

These tires are very good and quite quiet [wasn't sure how I was supposed to rate that one - low or high; so I went with the overall test and figured higher scores were better]. I'm very comfortable in the tires and feel safe in rain. According to Carfax when apparently installed at 63k miles, and now at 133k miles with still approx half tread left, and if I went by Carfax, these tires have 70k miles on them [hmm?]. I like them, but would prefer WHITE LETTERS OUT. And I have a black truck with black rims. Letters look more sporty.
