...The wet traction is outstanding as well. I have used the Launch control while on a wet surface and didn't get much if any spin at all...
This is my favorite tire I have ever had. This tire has an extremely quite ride. The wet traction is outstanding as well. I have used the Launch control while on a wet surface and didn't get much if any spin at all. I have about 8k on the tires and they still look pretty new and have even wear. I strongly recommend this tire. Being in North Texas i have yet to encounter any snowy conditions with these tires.

...The wet traction (my main motivation for switching tires) improved by leaps and bounds, and the car now feels planted in the rain instead of always being on the edge of hydroplaning on wet interstates...
I purchased these to replace a nearly new set of cheap “ultra high performance” tires that came with my car when I bought it, and the improvement has been enormous. The steering linearity and feel instantly improved, with the car no longer wandering on-center and darting in response to light steering inputs. The wet traction (my main motivation for switching tires) improved by leaps and bounds, and the car now feels planted in the rain instead of always being on the edge of hydroplaning on wet interstates.
The noise level also dropped significantly, which was a major plus because it reduced my fatigue on long trips and also improved the sound of the car’s stereo by cutting down on the low frequency tire rumble that used to bleed into everything coming out of the speakers.
This is a very well rounded set of tires, and I would buy them again without hesitation.

...At the time it was raining and I was doing around 75mph so I was certain my quick steering was about to cause me to lose traction, but instead these tires maintained grip through the whole event...
Overall great tire. Great handling for an all season but perceptively less traction off the stoplight when compared against my previous pair of Pilot summer tires. All that said, there's one experience that solidified this tire as my go-to for my commuter cars. During my drive to work one day, I was forced to make a last minute maneuver to avoid debris that fell off a truck in front of me on the highway. At the time it was raining and I was doing around 75mph so I was certain my quick steering was about to cause me to lose traction, but instead these tires maintained grip through the whole event. Because of that experience, I'll definitely be buying these tires again.

Most customers rate winter traction highly with scores of 9-10, praising excellent snow and ice grip. While some report lower scores (1-6), the majority find confident handling in winter conditions aligns with its all-season design.

My 4x4 was down for the wintertime, and these tires have done very well in the ice and snow...
My car had Bridgestone on it when I got it, so I wanted to stick with Bridgestone. The problem was, I could not find them anywhere. Then, I saw commercial for tire rack. The cost plus shipping was the best I found for such a good tire. These tires have proven themselves, and I we'll definitely buy them again. My 4x4 was down for the wintertime, and these tires have done very well in the ice and snow. Especially being on such a light car. Thank you, Tire Rack, for the opportunity. I will buy from you again.

Best All Seasons for Snow/Ice! 34k miles
These are by far the best all seasons I've ever had and I'm coming from continental extreme contacts, vredestein Hypertracs and pirellis pzeros (summers). Recently we've been hit with a series of blizzards here in Minnesota and these tires perform very close to winter tires! No pun intended! The level of grip on ice an snow from temperatures ranging from 0-29 degrees and several inches of snow, is outstanding. I think 8 inches tonight in the cities. I'm the fastest driver during these blizzards on unplowed roads, and I'm only going speed limit. The tire wearing pretty good still plenty left. Most likely buying these again. The compound in these tires are the difference in grip and confidence which translates to safer driving in adverse conditions. Bridgestone has cold weather tech down to a T.

...Performs exceptionally well on snow, can verify, even on low tread depth...
This tire has been great, performs great in dry and wet weather. Great ride and traction, and with its stiffer sidewall performs well in the curves. Performs exceptionally well on snow, can verify, even on low tread depth. My vehicle is lowered and my alignment was slightly off due to this however I have still managed to squeeze out close to 40,000 miles out of this set of tires without much decline in performance (currently about 3/32” tread remaining). My only complaint would be slight road noise when it begins to wear closer to 4 - 5/32”, however this is typical for a tire getting close the end of its life and in my case is likely caused my a lowered vehicle. I would recommend purchasing these again and can say this might be the best bang for your buck tire on the market.

Customers overwhelmingly rate dry traction as excellent, with most scoring 9s and 10s. The RE980AS+ delivers responsive handling and reliable grip in dry conditions, aligning perfectly with ultra-high performance expectations. Occasional 8s still reflect strong capability.

Really nice all around high performance all season tire with good treadwear, dry traction and lateral rigidity foe hard cornering. Don't read too much into my lower rating for snow and ice... I put them on a rear wheel drive coupe so am crazy to even think they will do anything but spin in winter in upstate New York

I am very satisfied with the dry and wet traction. With 7000 miles on them, I don’t see any wear despite driving my GTI sometimes fast in corners and the occasional fast acceleration. Paid $800 for the set of 4 and well worth it in my opinion.

...The ride is a little better, steering response is much improved, and both wet and dry traction are noticeably better... The biggest difference that I have noticed is that these tires are remarkably quiet...
Since I garage my Buick in winters, I got 8 years/41,000 miles from the factory Continentals. They were good tires, but these Potenzas, were an upgrade in every way. The ride is a little better, steering response is much improved, and both wet and dry traction are noticeably better. I have yet to have the traction control engage with the Potenzas, and I have a heavy foot. The biggest difference that I have noticed is that these tires are remarkably quiet.
When the time comes, I hope to comment on tread wear and traction in snow; I do drive the Buick in winter if it's a long trip.
I feel like I got what I paid for.

Early days, but these tires inspire confidence in wet and dry conditions in spirited driving. I have not tested them in terms of speed or demanding cornering and braking, yet.
I was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable ride and low noise, and the appearance of the tread and sidewalls compliment my RL.

These all season tires lasted me for a while. I ran a staggered set up, so I did not rotate the tires. I'm currently at 24,000 miles on these with about 3/32 left. For all season I felt like they were a good purchase, and it felt good driving on them. I'm transitioning into a summer set of wheels, and winter set of wheels since I see a decent amount of snow in Illinois. If I were to buy another all season set, I would buy these again.
