Michelin Latitude Tour HP Crossover & SUV Tires in 255/50R20

I use my Macan as a daily driver, both for highway commuting to work and for doing short trips to the local stores. These are the tires that were on my Macan when I bought it in 2018. I was very happy with them, so when it came time to replace them in 2023, I bought the exact same tires. These tires handle wet and dry well, as well as light snow (less than 4"). They are quiet and also last a long time. I would buy them again.

This is an amazing all around tire for an suv. Excellent in wet conditions, light snow, minor muddy farm roads. At 50,000 miles on my '12 explorer it's simply time for an AT tire. For a simple all season tire I doubt it could get any better than this. If I didn't venture off road I would buy this tire again, but since I go off into the woods in my explorer, I'd like a little more confidence in my tires.

These tires were OEM, I have driven on them for 7 years in the North East and in Southern California. They are a great set of tires for my needs, and exceeded my expectations. Here are two examples to illustrate their performance and quality.

1) Drove from CT to NY down I-95 going 70-80 mph (wanted to get home ASAP) in the middle of a 6-8 inch morning snow storm in February in my RAV4 with no issues. I just stayed on the far left lane and flew by sedans and semi-trucks of all kinds. The only vehicles that really kept up were your hulky pick-ups, think F-150s and Tundras, etc.

2) First time in California, while going to the beach pulled-off to an area with some light sand. Park ranger dude said "your going to need some help getting out of their...I'll try to give yo a push." Thanks, but didn't need it. I just hit the gas, (maybe I knocked down the transmission a step or two), I got a little bit of tire slippage for a fraction of second put was back on the pavement in no time. Good traction, not bad for a AWD RAV4. These all-weather Michelin Latitudes definitely helped ( I don't think they see much of those in SoCal).

Haven't had an opportunity to try the tires in the rain. We are in a drought. These tires are MUCH quieter than the Goodyear's we were running. Handling and responsiveness are fantastic. The purchase through Tire rack was VERY easy. Quick delivery to our installer. Overall, very pleased.

We just had a third set installed on our almost 8-yr old Cayenne after 44,000 miles. The first set lasted close to 45,000 miles. Very reliable tires, comfortable and completely trouble-free save for a couple of nail punctures. OEM tire on this vehicle with N0 designation. I highly recommend them.

Have just purchased a front set of Michelin Latitude HP Porsche rated. Will be purchasing the rear set in 3 months as tread is OK, but the tires will be 6 y.o. Already the noise level has improved from 4 Goodyear Porsche rated tires. On an ultra windy magnificent road to Cayucos CA from the 46, the traction was tested and the tires passed the test with flying colors. Having witnessed this performance and ride comfort will never purchase non-Michelin tires. These are magnificent tires and I can’t wait to have the rear set installed.

I purchased this model tire specifically due to the fact that it is engineered for an suv. The stability, traction, comfort and noise level of this model tire is unmatched by any other brand or model tire on the market.

These tire are the best handling , longest wearing tires I have ever owned .After 66,000 miles all four tires still have 6/32 left on them . I will defiantly buy another set if and when these wear out .

These tires came stock on my 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Velar. I am very pleased with the overall performance of these tires and, after 53,000+ miles, I plan on replacing them with the same tires.
