The WildPeak A/T4W is Falken's Off-Road All-Terrain tire developed for the specialized requirements of pickup trucks, vans and full-sized SUVs and drivers who need reliable traction in navigating any variety of on- and off-road surfaces. The WildPeak A/T4W brings satisfying grip on wet or dry roads with proficient performance over loose surfaces. In addition to sufficient light snow traction meeting the tire industry's severe snow service requirements and earning the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.

Falken has molded a durable, all-season compound into a tread pattern engineered to balance the grip and handling characteristics drivers want on-road with the rugged chip-and-tear resistance they need on off-road surfaces. Alternating scalloped tread blocks prevent damage from sharp debris often encountered off-road while providing extra traction in aired-down usage. Carefully applied siping in each tread block helps prevent squirm for better on-road feel, while still granting the biting edgesto keep control in wet, light snow and icy conditions.

The WildPeak A/T4W's internal construction features a dual-layer polyester body casing, and in heavier duty sizing, features a triple-ply DURASPEC casing for strength and reliability in heavy duty applications. Twin, steel belts offer additional support and rigidity and are topped with a polyamide reinforcement ply for improved handling and high-speed capability.

Note: While non-winter tires featuring the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol may provide additional longitudinal snow traction beyond what all-season (M+S) tires not bearing the symbol can deliver, they do not match the capability of a true winter tire in all adverse weather conditions.

...Wet & dry traction on the highway is superb...

This is a great tire with equal ability both on, and off-road. Wet & dry traction on the highway is superb, off-road this tire handles all conditions very capably. Very impressed with this tire, it is also fairly quiet and is wearing very little. Highly recommend.

...I'm really happy with the ride comfort, noise, and winter performance. For all terrain tires these have been the best winter performers I've ever used...

My previous tire experience on this truck has been Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs and Nitto Exo Grapplers. Both of those tires were terrible in comparison to this Falken. I'm really happy with the ride comfort, noise, and winter performance. For all terrain tires these have been the best winter performers I've ever used. Off road performance in NE Wyoming and NW South Dakota has been a mix of mud, sandy loam, rocks, and deep snow; they have performed extremely well. Was even able to pull a loaded trailer through a muddy area that I would normally have used 4wd for in 2wd. Can't comment on tire wear as I haven't had them long enough but will update if it becomes relevant. Would highly recommend and I'll certainly purchase again.

Recommended by an expert friend, and they've lived up to it. Just did some snowy logging road driving yesterday and they were perfectly confidence inspiring. Even drove over a huge rock slide with slick boulders and they did the job no problem. They're not the sportscar tires I'm accustomed to on pavement, but they're not at all obnoxious. Perfect balance for my needs. Driving up to the ski slopes today and I've got no doubt they'll get me there without any need to break out the chains.

...REVIEW I've had these tires for about 6 months now and have been very impressed. I drive a 4Runner and these tires have performed exceptionally well in all conditions. When the snow hit, these tires were absolutely phenomenal. I was driving through 6 inches of unplowed snow with complete confidence and control. The siping on these tires is incredible and really bites into the snow. I would highly recommend these tires to anyone looking for a great all terrain tire. --- " When the snow hit, these tires were absolutely phenomenal. ...The Falkens are super quiet and predictable...

All around I am very happy with the choice of tires. I have a lower rating in sand and that is probably the truck's fault. My 2022 3500 HO Cummins is heavy and a ton of torque so on a regular 3/4 ton with a gas motor these tires are probably better all around.

I had zero drop in mpg from the stock Michelin highway tires. 21.5-22 hwy / 18-19 city / 12-14mpg towing 10k-12k in NH.

The Falkens are super quiet and predictable.
I drive 40k-50k miles per year, tow trailers up to 16k lbs (not 5th wheel), and they wear even and not excessively. I rotate every 8k-10k miles. The front tires in this time have very little scallop if at all. They more have a rounded appearance, Swap with rears and they stay flat for a good 5k miles. If I rotated every 5k there would likely be very even wear.

They are great on ice, the rubber compound doesn't harden up. When stopping if the truck starts to slide coming to a light at 15-20mph I may have to drop into neutral to stop the truck, and it'll slow right down without sliding. That is the torque pushing the truck. At a stop on packed hard snow or ice mix, when in 2wd in gear the tires will rotate while on the brake if I use light braking. Again its the truck, not the tires.

Deep snow around 12"+ they do fine in 4wd and 4-5" mud, they also dig well. I can probably credit this to the very textured sidewalls.
The treads clean out ok, not the best, but they aren't open aggressive. So they will fill up a bit depending on terrain.

I am a very real world driver in all kinds of conditions, loaded and unloaded. This is why a detailed review. I hate trying new tires because if they don't perform you are stuck with them. I took a chance on these based on reviews from a few people that gave real world scenario. Not the "great tire, have 600 miles on them" I prefer "I have run these thru the paces for 40k+ and I still have them." I am predicting 70k mileage or so.
Great even wear, stable, responsive, balance great, smooth highway ride @70

...Tires are super quiet (can't hear them over my diesel engine) and comfortable driving...

2nd set of A/T4W - very happy with tires to date. Stayed with stock size as my 5th wheel trailer is already pushing 13'6" and didn't want to add any more height to it. Tires are super quiet (can't hear them over my diesel engine) and comfortable driving. Assuming traction will be excellent - it is on my other set of A/T4W.

So far, so good! I’m loving these tires. They have a great aggressive look, and I’m here for it! They provide a comfortable ride with fantastic handling and performance. While I haven’t experienced heavy snow yet, I’ve driven through some wet, icy, snowy conditions, and these tires handled it effortlessly. I’m excited to see how they perform in more serious snow!

...my wife noticed the difference in the ride so I checked the tire PSI and it was a little high so lowered to OEM factory specs and the ride was normal again...

I replaced my General Trac tires. Although they still have a lot of life in them, I wanted to try these Falkens tires again. I had previously had the Falken wildpeak AT/3 but they woreout too quick with average driving. I switched from regular tires to LT tires. they weight a little more and you lose some MPG, but they last longer. my wife noticed the difference in the ride so I checked the tire PSI and it was a little high so lowered to OEM factory specs and the ride was normal again. I am looking foward the give these tires a good run. Good deal from Tirerack.

Sitting around 52-53k miles on this set (in about a year in a half) Never rotated. Almost perfect treadwear all around and still have probably close to 35-40% tread left. Would be a fool to try any other tire. Might be a little heavy of a tire but I love the peace of mind having 10 ply deep off the beaten path and on jobsites.

I came from the Falken AT3W's (predecessor to the AT4W) which had 65k miles and about 3/32" left. Going to a new tire will always feel instantly better, but these tires are a great balance of lower noise, fantastic wet weather, great dry weather and a responsive feeling tire. I haven't yet been able to really get these off road and haven't had them in snow yet. But based on how these feel thus far, the design changes from the AT3W and subjective reviews of others, I have full confidence these will be every bit as good or better than the AT3Ws.
