Does this tire fit your vehicle?

Tires are designed specifically for different vehicles and wheel sizes. Tell us about your vehicle or the specific size you want so we can help find the right tires for you.

The BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3–AKA the "BFG KO3"—is the 3rd generation of BFGoodrich's legendary Off-Road All-Terrain light truck tire engineered for the on and off-road tire needs of dedicated off-roaders like Jeeps, pickup trucks and 4x4 sport utility vehicles. It's built for drivers who want rugged confidence and control no matter where their journey takes them. Following up the wildly-successful All-Terrain T/A KO2, the KO3 has been carefully designed to retain the aggressive (and classic) visual elements of BFGoodrich all terrain tires, while delivering outstanding durability, improved wear-life and traction in all weather conditions—even light snow.

Available in LT fitments, load ranges, and sizes beyond 35 inches, the KO3 features a reformulated cut, chip, and tear-resistant tread compound for greater longevity and durability. Molded into a symmetric footprint designed with a generous amount of void for off-road use, while also optimizing the footprint for more even stress distribution and uniform wear. The interlocking tread blocks are designed to work in concert with one another for stability both on and off the pavement. Broad channels at the shoulders and plenty of void space to redistribute water help maintain control in the wet. The 3-D Locking Sipes are full depth and alongside the Snow/Mud notches, are designed to help drivers find the traction they need in any environment.

The upper shoulder and sidewall feature CoreGuard Technology: a bruise- and split-resistant rubber compound that extends further down the sidewall to protect more of the tire in demanding scenarios. Alternating Shoulder Scoops deliver clawing force for control and traction in sand, dirt, or grueling off-road rock driving during "aired down" adventures, while the Mud Phobic bars keep the tire clear of built-up material so it can perform as intended. And as always, the KO3 is available with raised white sidewall lettering—perfect for making your tires and wheels pop, complementing your truck's paint, or making your classic 4x4 look the part.

Internal construction of the All-Terrain T/A KO3 utilizes a durable, triple-ply polyester casing designed for strength and reliability, along with twin, high-strength steel belts providing a robust foundation for the nylon cap ply offering high-speed capability.

NOTE: BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 tires meet the industry's severe snow service requirements and are branded with the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.

...Excellent wet weather tire but do not feel inspired to push it into corners on dry pavement...

Solid all weather tire. Seems to be on the softer side which makes for a nice ride but am not sure yet how tread wear will be. Excellent wet weather tire but do not feel inspired to push it into corners on dry pavement. I have Blizzaks for winter so doubtful I will find out how good this one is in the snow. Based on tread design and softness would guess it's good. Was a well rated tire for the money.

...Driving about 60 miles today in pouring rain with occasional standing water, the Vredesteins tracked straight & true with zero hydroplaning...

I bought my 2-owner '04 BMW 325Ci convertible a few months ago from a caring owner (engineer) who treated it right. Unfortunately, at some point he had equipped the car with a mixed set of Kumhos (front) and made-in-Turkey Goodyears (rear). I say unfortunate, because those tires made my little Bimmer ride hard as a buckboard on rough pavement (which is just about everywhere these days). I thought the harsh ride might be caused by the sport package option (bigger 17" wheels, firmer suspension), but I wouldn't know for sure until taking a chance on a new set of Vredestein Quatrac 5's. I'm so glad I did.

Shipping from Tire Rack to a highly rated local installer took a quick 2 days; after the install this morning, I couldn't be happier. The difference with the Vredesteins is like night & day. There's a small bit of tradeoff in steering response, but the ride is so much more comfortable. Driving about 60 miles today in pouring rain with occasional standing water, the Vredesteins tracked straight & true with zero hydroplaning. The Quatrac 5's are a super value in a quality European-designed & manufactured tire - easily a win-win choice.

Amazing tires with quite, soft response on straight road while providing confident grip in wet weather turns.

I have been driving more than a dozen cars since 16 years old. I'm 58. That's over 40 years of driving. I have never experienced such a noticeable improvement in any auto ever from changing tires as I have with these. Even wife is stunned. Thank you to everyone on here for convincing me. I was quite leary buying Dutch tires I never heard of my but SXL Optima now feels like a C class Mercedes! Incredible! I live in Northern lower Michigan, it’s hard to find a good tire for the buck, since we have 8 months of winter. I have already driven on deep snow, wet snow, ice and slush. I have been a lot more then impressed. The handling has been superb. Tires I’ve had in the past hate the wet snow, and slush even more. They stop great, they go great and they feel great. Thank you for a great tire, I highly recommend this tire for northern states. 5 solid stars!

...Light snow and ice are handled with more confidence and sure-footedness. We recently had a foot of snow and Satan the snow-plow driver pushed a pile of snow in front of my driveway about 2-3 foot deep X 5 feet wide, just before I had to leave for work at 7:30AM. I put the Forester in X-mode and climbed over this pile of snow...

I live in northern Ohio and commute 100 miles a day into the snow belt , 6 days a week. All I have for reference is the original tires that came on my 2014 Forester. In that respect there is a night and day difference. These tires are simply superior in every aspect to the original Yokohama's. First let me say that there really is a 500 mile break in period with these tires, after which the performance only seems to improve. My first impression after having these tires installed grippy, my Forester felt like it was glued to the road, the ride was slightly softer and the corning was noticeably superior. It felt almost sports car like compared to the original Yokohama's. These tires are quieter as well. They also track better than the originals. In rain and heavy down pours I never hydroplaned or felt out of control. When accelerating on the the freeway "grippy" is the best word that I can use to describe the feel of these tires. Braking is more confident and controlled. I can't vouch for any decrease in stopping distance, but I would not be surprised if my stopping distance has decreased. Light snow and ice are handled with more confidence and sure-footedness. We recently had a foot of snow and "Satan" the snow-plow driver pushed a pile of snow in front of my driveway about 2-3 foot deep X 5 feet wide, just before I had to leave for work at 7:30AM. I put the Forester in X-mode and climbed over this pile of snow. The snow under the Forester lifted it off the pavement, all four tires were spinning, X-mode was dong it's thing and these tires were throwing snow and pushed me through. I had to do it again when I got home that night. No change in gas mileage. Definitely recommend these tires.

...They have great stability on straightaways as well as on curves such as on/off ramps, etc. They stick to the road and respond well to steering inputs...

I've been using these tires for about 5000 miles and so far, I'm pretty impressed. I didn't think I would like a tire that I considered to be 'off-brand' but they are a lot better than I expected.

The tires do perform well under both wet and dry conditions. I've noticed that I don't get as good gas mileage with these as I did with the original tires that came with the car but I'm still close to 40 MPG. They have great stability on straightaways as well as on curves such as on/off ramps, etc. They stick to the road and respond well to steering inputs.

The road noise is much better compared to the original equipment tires. I drive mostly highway, on a combination of concrete and asphalt. They're relatively quiet, with a lot less noise being transferred into the cabin.

Overall, I would say these were a great buy and I would definitely purchase these again, if they're available.

...Initial impressions very good - look great, quiet, and quite responsive for a non-high performance tire. Sold as a grand touring all-season, but handle like a high performance tire in the dry...

Just picked these up as a year-round, all-weather tire for our AWD Tiguan. We'll be using this car primarily in the winter, so I was specifically looking for a severe winter service rated all-season alternative to dedicated snows paired with high performance all-seasons on separate wheels. We just aren't going to see enough miles on this car to warrant 2 sets of tires. But with all the steep hills in the Denver area, a non-snow tire in the slick just isn't a good option here. So this is a bit of an experiment.

Initial impressions very good - look great, quiet, and quite responsive for a non-high performance tire. Sold as a grand touring all-season, but handle like a high performance tire in the dry. Note that we run Conti ExtremeContact DWS tires in the warm months on our other cars - a GTI, a Z4 and a Q5 - for comparison. We used to have a M3 running Michelin Super Sport summer tires as well (which are in a different performance class entirely in the dry) for the gearheads out there.

The Tig came with 19x9 wheels - too wide for snows in my opinion. We went down from 255/40R19 stock to 235/45R19 with these for the Tig precisely because we wanted to optimize winter performance without running performance snows - 255s would float on snow with this car. For the record, they mounted up just fine at this width on the stock Tig R-Line alloys (max width for this tire size). If we go to separate snows, I'll put those on separate 17x7s and run 215s for better bite in the slick.

Expecting rain later this week - I'll report back after they get a few more miles and I can drive them in the wet. Snow not expected here for a bit. Crazy warm right now (Jan 2018).

Tesla Model 3 AWD - Northeast Florida

Just purchased these tires and had Discount Tire install them for me. These tires are noticeably quieter than the OEM MXM4, and they don't even have the foam walls that could fall off and make noises. They stick well to the ground and is a comfortable ride. I do not know about wear yet, but with average style driving, I should be able to get the rated wear of 40k on these tires. I drove average on the OEM and got 48k from them while spirited drivers get 10-20k. As far as efficiency, these seems to be slightly less efficient than the OEMs. I track about 4.3 mi/kwh so far with about 500 miles driven (60/40 city/hwy).

One difference about these tires is that they have four(4) grooves instead of three(3) as shown in the pictures. I'm not sure why, but the OEMs also had four grooves, so I don't really mind.

So far, I'm pretty happy with these tires and would highly recommend them at this time.

...These tires do not transmit sharp jolts from what passes as rural roads in Pennsylvania. They are surprisingly quiet given the aggressive looking tread.

I agree with one reviewer who states that these are not performance tires. There is some delay on initial turn in. I have changed my cornering to compensate. It just took awhile to "learn" the tires response to inputs. With that being said, I would still buy these tires again. Traction (wet and dry) is superior. Stopping is sure and straight (wet and dry). These tires do not transmit sharp jolts from what passes as "rural roads" in Pennsylvania. They are surprisingly quiet given the aggressive looking tread.

This is our first set of Vredesteins. We live in IA and have had two full sets of Blizzaks on two different FWD vehicles through the years. These Quatrac 5s have been a very acceptable year round tire on our 2012 Outback at 44 months and 20k miles. I am surprised to read about how many people think these are very noisy tires. It may be that the ambient noise level of the rear cabin area of the Outback is such that the tire noise just isn't as intrusive to us. Dry condition performance is quite good, as is wet pavement. I have never felt the vehicle hydroplane with these tires. Snow pack performance in reviews is what sealed the deal for this purchase. I have been very satisfied with their traction in both light and heavy snow conditions. Ice performance and firmly packed snow surface performance is more a function of ABS capability than anything else. In my opinion, the Quatrac 5s probably do as well as any other "three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol" all season tire on ice.

I don't think that they'll go to 40k miles before I replace them, but time will tell. I don't try to squeeze out every last mile on tires. These tires have a fairly soft tread compound, so ultimate wear characteristics will, understandably, be on the low side. That said, the overall performance of the tires at 20k miles would certainly have them at least being compared to another tire option when it comes time to replace. Would I buy them again? Yes, somewhere between probably and definitely.

I am 10,000 miles in and tread depth is down 2/10, so I expect to get 30-40,000 miles on these. They are rated for 45,000 by the manufacturer. Given my vehicle is AWD and my driving conditions are varied and demanding, I would be happy to get 40k from them.

I bought these Vredestein tires to replace original equipment Falkens on my VW Alltrack. They are a significant step up in nearly all ways, except road noise. On that point, they are a bit loud, but considering the ambitious versatility of these tires, I can forgive that flaw. This tire tries to be everything at ounce, and succeeds remarkably well. It is a cross between a good handling all season tire with more of a nod to winter performance as well. Most of my miles are highway and the tires perform fine there, which is easy. I live in the Catskill mountains, so also drive miles of twisty mountain roads. The Vredesteins handle remarkably well there. I have driven these tires on mountain highways in light snow, packed snow, ice, and through deep slush and snow on unpaved roads to trailheads. I also have to regularly deal with ugly urban expressway conditions (Crosss Bronx exp., GW Bridge) where the tires swallow busted pavement well. Altogether great performance on all surfaces. ...Treadwear seems to be about what I'd expect at this point after mostly spring and summer driving...

It was a tumultuous start with these tires. Picked up a screw that punctured the tire within the first 100 miles. Bad luck you say. Perhaps, but picked up another screw within the next 500 miles. However this time, the screw did not puncture the tire and I was able to remove it. Needless to say, I was left wondering if this was going to be a regular occurrence, but thankfully have not had to deal with another incident since. As to the performance of the tire, it's wet traction is outstanding. I feel total confidence driving in the rain, and the performance far exceeds that of the Geolander tire that came with the vehicle which tended to noticeably pull going through water. The ride is very comfortable and quieter than that of the Geolanders. Cornering is good, but will not excite you if you are a spirited driver. Treadwear seems to be about what I'd expect at this point after mostly spring and summer driving. Overall, I would recommend this tire as a replacement for the stock Geolanders on Subarus due to comfort, quiet, and excellent wet traction. However, I'm wary of the softness of the compound and how it factored in to the road debris the tires picked up early on. Looking forward to driving in the snow with these though, and I will update this review accordingly at that time.
