The Geolandar A/T G015 is Yokohama's On-Road All-Terrain tire developed for drivers of light trucks and SUVs looking for a tough and durable tire capable of withstanding off-road duty while providing long treadlife and light snow traction sufficient to earn the tire industry's severe snow service certification and three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.
A chip- and tear-resistant Triple Polymer tread compound is molded into an aggressive, symmetric tread design to allow for easy cross-rotation and improved wear characteristics. Focus on the tread block pitch variation enhances comfort via reduced noise levels. The optimized tread pattern features deep circumferential grooves for water evacuation and hydroplaning resistance, with 3D sipes and lug grooves specifically shaped to increase the number of biting edges for all-season traction in light snow.
The tire's internal construction consists of two high-tensile steel belts on top of a two-ply polyester cord casing and a spirally-wrapped nylon reinforcement to blend stability with ride comfort.
Note: While non-winter tires featuring the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol may provide additional longitudinal snow traction beyond what all-season (M+S) tires not bearing the symbol can deliver, they do not match the capability of a true winter tire in all adverse weather conditions.

...Snow/Ice performance is outstanding.
NOTE: THESE WILL NOT FIT STOCK VANAGON SUSPENSION CONFIGURATION, at minimum lift springs and different wheels, potentially with spacers, are required. Very pleased with this tire selection for my T3 Vanagon. OHV/Gravel roads were handled without any issue whatsoever. Snow/Ice performance is outstanding. All of this without sacrificing highway comfort. I would absolutely recommend these tires to anyone doing combination driving.

...We had 8 inches of snow here yesterday and was great getting to my mom's place out in the county roads...
Visually I wanted a tire a few notches down from the typical off road knoby looking profile. So once I selected this tire I discovered it has been around a long time with a great reputation. These tires are butter smooth on the highway. We had 8 inches of snow here yesterday and was great getting to my mom's place out in the county roads. Caught the tires on sale with great price. Life is good.

I have no complaints regarding dry, wet, mud or snow traction and grip.
I have been very happy with these tires. I have a set of Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season Plus II in 275/60 R20 which handled very well but I have ended up liking the Yokohama Geolander 17's better as a result of better ride quality. I also ran Toyo Open Country 275/60 R20 and Michelin LTX M/S in 285/70 R17 and like the Yokohama Geolander 17s better than these as well. Tread noise is very minimal like a good highway tire, ride quality is very comfortable and I have no complaints regarding dry, wet, mud or snow traction and grip. Other than my desire to try something different I would be happy buying them again but that will probably be awhile as my tread wear seems pretty good so far with lots of life left. I would highly recommend them.

...Dry: Stiffer and Better steering response than the Michelin...
After 4 years and 36k miles, I think the G015 is a strong offering in the mild AT tires segment.
My previous tires were Michelin Defender LTX, the compound of that tire could not hold on tips and tiers. Therefore I purchased these Yokohama Geolander G015 as replacements. My usage is 90% onroad and 10% offroad.
Dry: Stiffer and Better steering response than the Michelin
Wet: Both tires are pretty strong, with no issues at all in terms of hydroplaning in the constant rain of the PNW.
Noise: G015 is pretty much on par with the Michelin, with no noticeable noise increase after 36k miles.
Ride: The Michelin is better, but the G015 is an AT tire so a stiffer ride over small impacts is expected.
Wear: After 36k miles they are still at 9/32, pretty good IMO.
Snow: Overall pretty good on snow-covered roads to the ski resort. The longitudinal snow grip is solid. But relatively weak on ice.
I will definitely buy them again, very suitable for my rig's usage.

The Geoloandar AT G015 replaced the OEM Bridgestone Duelers (but in a larger size).
Great dry traction. Great wet traction. Have hit standing water at highway speeds with no issue. Above average in the snow/winter, although I run Nokian LT3 in the winter, but got to experience the Geolandars before swapping over to the winter wheel/tire combo. Based on how they performed in wet snow/light snow/ice these could do in the winter if you only had one set of tires, but I definitely prefer winter tires (and the Nokians are definitely better in the winter with superior turn in feel, and ice braking/handling).
The Jeep does 600 miles (to the montains) 2-3/month on the highway at 70-75 mph. Very happy with the drop in tire noise. Very stable. Balanced with zero issues.
Would definitely buy again. If you rarely have snow/ice then one could make it with just one set year round.

...This tire is advertised as an All Terrain and has extremely polite manners on the highway, maintaining an excellent noise and comfort profile; it's probably the quietest and most comfortable AT tire I have ever experienced...
These tires came stock on my Wilderness Edition Crosstrek and I bought a full-sized spare so I could do a 5-tire rotation to prolong treadlife in case of a non-repairable flat. This tire is advertised as an All Terrain and has extremely polite manners on the highway, maintaining an excellent noise and comfort profile; it's probably the quietest and most comfortable AT tire I have ever experienced, but it is my first AT set on anything except a truck so the lightweight non-LT version significantly contributes to this. Wet and dry traction is superb on and off the road, and I usually air down to 24 psi on dry, wet, and sandy trails. The tire does NOT perform well at all on muddy trail as the groves are too narrow to provide any type of clearing action unless it is raining or you have some type of conditions where your grooves can get cleared (cattle guards, rock gardens, flowing washes), otherwise they get caked up way too fast and you will lose all steering ability above 5 mph. I got caught in a massive storm in the Agua Fria National Monument going up and down a supposed easy trail where water was flowing like crazy down the muddy trails on the wheel paths at about 12 inches, but actually served to clear the grooves really well! I crossed the flowing river at about knee height and again the tires were great! It was on the virgin dirt/mud (with no rain or flow) that gave me the most trouble after it had soaked up all the moisture and it took all of one tire revolution to complete jam up the grooves and I was fighting like crazy to keep from ending up in a ditch. 5 mph was still squirrelly but I made it, but made me realize this tire is not for muddy trails at all. When they are up for replacement, I'm looking for better mud treads as my Crosstrek doesn't have the weight to get through Arizona mud, although I suspect these tires might be great on a 1/2 ton truck in LT sizes. For light SUVs I would look elsewhere for mud, but fantastically excellent everywhere else!

Haven't had them for very long, but already I am extremely impressed at the comfort and quietness of these tires. Almost unbelievable for an A/T style tire, and definitely quieter than similar on-road A/T tire competitors such as Falken (at least for this vehicle). Ride is very smooth and the tires soak up the bumps well. Traction is also impressive both on and off-road. I was looking for a tire that had good road manners first and good offroad capabilities second, and I think these yokohamas do an excellent job. If you daily drive your 4x4 and take it offroad on the weekends, this tire is a great choice.

...they consistently provide a quiet highway ride, even as they've aged...
A few years ago, I did a lot of research to find tires with the best balance of off-road and on-road traction, and I decided on these. It was a great decision. I'd never owned Yokohama tires before, but they haven't failed me once. They’ve tackled beach sand, mud, and mountain rocks with ease. I've never spun a wheel in the rain or snow, and they consistently provide a quiet highway ride, even as they've aged. After 25,000 miles, the tread is still at 8/32s. I'm only replacing them because they've aged out chronologically. I didn't have to overthink it this time around—I just bought the exact same set.

Over 40,000 miles and plenty of tread left . I will buy these again. Just the right amount of all terain tread for confidence in light snow and occasional off pavement use. They track and handle well with minimum increase in noise over a all season highway tire, plus they look good on an all wheel drive. Its no wonder why Subaru uses them on their Wilderness models.
