The Dynapro HP2 is Hankook's Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season tire developed for the drivers of crossovers, sport utility vehicles and prestigious pickups looking for year-round, on-road capabilities. Designed to combine good ride comfort, long wear and low rolling resistance to promote vehicle fuel economy, Dynapro HP2 tires also deliver all-season traction in dry, wet and wintry conditions, even in light snow.
Dynapro HP2 tires feature an all-season silica enhanced tread compound molded into a symmetric design that blends wet, dry and wintertime traction. Hankook's 3D Shoulder Block technology and radially oriented sipes that lock together for greater tread block stiffness improve dry road handling, while a continuous center rib promotes steering control and feedback. Four wide circumferential grooves help channel water from under the tire's footprint to resist hydroplaning and maintain wet traction. Engineered siping in every tread block adds hundreds of biting edges to help generate snow traction.
The tire's internal structure includes two wide steel belts reinforced with spirally wound jointless nylon cord to combine high-speed durability with ride uniformity. A high-density polyester casing blends steering response with ride comfort.

...The wet performance is one of the best I've driven. It's stable and surefooted, braking is excellent, hydroplaning is almost non existent...
I have had these Yokos on my GX470 for about 5k miles and 4 months or so. I've been incredibly impressed with their dry and wet performance. They're quiet and smooth for an A/T tire, reminding me more of a highway or A/S tire. The wet performance is one of the best I've driven. It's stable and surefooted, braking is excellent, hydroplaning is almost non existent. When we got 5" of slushy snow the other day here in MA, I was somewhat underwhelmed with their performance, specifically in cornering. The GX's capable 4WD system made getting going a breeze and the tires faired well here, but once you turn the steering wheel, the truck was all over the road, it felt like the tires had grip then all of a sudden they didn't, also the truck was like a sled when braking. I'll contribute a lot of that to the weight (almost 5k lbs) and less the tires, but I think next season I'll pay for dedicated winter tires. They're by no means unsafe, and they'll certainly get the job done, but if you encounter frequent snow, do yourself a favor and get winter tires. I'd definitely recommend these tires though they're truly incredible in the dry and wet.

...The first day I had these tires on the truck, heavy rain was falling here in the northeast. When the Bridgestone tires would always skid out even if the roads were slightly wet, these tires held the road exceptionally. There was no hydroplaning in turns, and no skidding when starting from a complete stop...
I am very particular about what type of tires I put on my truck. I used to run the Dunlop Rover H/T tires, but could not find them in the right size for this truck. So I did my research, and came across these Yokohama tires to replace the stock Bridgestone Dueler H/T tires (which were garbage, by the way). I was surprised to see that Yokohama even made an all-terrain tire. But wow! What a world of a difference!
The first day I had these tires on the truck, heavy rain was falling here in the northeast. When the Bridgestone tires would always skid out even if the roads were slightly wet, these tires held the road exceptionally. There was no hydroplaning in turns, and no skidding when starting from a complete stop. I did notice slight slipping when starting on an incline greater than 15-20% grade in the rain, but that's typical of any pickup truck (even though the G80 locking rear kicked in immediately).
On dry surfaces, you have nothing to worry about. Excellent cornering, nice beefy sidewall grips (but not too beefy), quite ride, and good rolling resistance. The ride is slightly stiffer, but this is an all-terrain tire, so that was expected. Additionally, I noticed a slight decrease in fuel economy (about 1/2 mpg), but again this was excepted with an all-terrain tire. If you tow or load up the bed often, these tires of perfect. The sidewalls don't bulge with a load, and ride quality remains good.
These are also good tires for traveling down dirt roads/gravel roads, and also in a few inches of mud. However, these aren't tires you want to trudge through a foot of mud. We still have some time before the snow and ice arrives here in the northeast, so I will write another review once I test these tires in the snow.
So altogether, if you're looking for tires that are perfect for mixed on-road/off-road/towing, give these Yokohama tires a shot! Not to mention, they look awesome with the raised white letters!

Absolutely fantastic snow traction. Can usually leave my truck in 2WD even in deep snow. The tires do wear fairly quickly and with that comes more road noise. I will easily give up those qualities for the snow traction. This is my second set and when they go, I will buy another set.

Compared to dedicated snow tires (I've also used Blizzaks and Dunlop Winter Sports) they come surprisingly close. I'm also happy with the comfort on dry roads. I was expecting a much rougher ride since they're categorized as all-terrain, but they ride fairly smoothly. They're definitely more comfortable than my car's stock runflats.

Researched replacements tires for my Tacoma extensively. The G015's sounded too good to be true and unfortunately they were. These Yokohama Geolander A/T G015 tires preform very well so far, in the rain they are very competent, in the dry the preform excellent, the ride is very good and they are quite tires. They don't build up much heat on my Toyota Tacoma SR 4x4 either, when I check them after trips they are always only slightly warm so they are preforming excellent in this respect. The tires look good with their white outlined letters as well. I would purchase these tires again.

...they have great cornering, traction, ride comfort, great in the wet(a big must for me)and great in the snow.also very capable offroad...
if you go with a road force balance and get numbers under 10 it will be the nicest riding truck tire youve ever had.some may seem more comfortable yet they come with excess motion after bumps or rolling during cornering, not these however.they have great cornering, traction, ride comfort, great in the wet(a big must for me)and great in the snow.also very capable offroad.i dont rock climb or go hardcore offroad so i dont need a all out mudtire.most people dont yet still go with the coolest looking tire so they can look cool all the way to that ditch along the highway in winter time.i live in the appalachin mountains and everytime it snows i can put money down that i will see a few wrecks or vehicles in ditches.never fails so i always make sure i have a tire that has great traction for all conditions.i am very picky about my tires.when i owned a car id use continental true contact.thats also a great tire in all conditions but the yokahoma has it beat when it comes to wet conditions .i feel unstoppable(i still drive with common sense tho)we recently had snow and as ive mentioned we had a few wrecks and vehicles not only off the road but stuck in the road just spinning.new suvs, cars etc i had no probelms.it was a slow moving traffic jam .i waited until i could see what was going on and would then make my move to get around it ,not one slippage while overs were doing nothing but spinning.there was a tractor trailer almost jack knifed taking up both lanes.i went around him,off the road no issue and a few others with better tires followed(yes even cars).tires make a huge difference!i can tell you you and your family will feel safe and confident with these tires in all conditions.these are my go to truck/suv tire.they look much better in person.the pictures do not do them justice.look elsewhere online for a more realistic photo to get a better idea how they look.

...And I have found in the brief period I have owned them that they are very quiet and have great roll resistance... They grip the pavement very well and they are very comfortable...
I did a lot I research on all of the A/T tires offered. I finally came down to the Yokohama Geolandar AT 015 and the Bridgestone Revo 3s. I finally decided the Geolandars after reading reviews on other sites from drivers who also owned Tacoma's as I believe those reviews are the most relevant to my purchase since I own a Tacoma. Some reviews from drivers with heavier vehicles complained that the tread wore down too quickly. I didn't find Tacoma owners complaining about quick tread wear. Just the opposite. And I have found in the brief period I have owned them that they are very quiet and have great roll resistance. They grip the pavement very well and they are very comfortable. I love how aggressive they look for an AT and they still are quiet and smooth. I haven't been off road, and there hasn't been rain or snow in northern CA yet so I can't comment on their performance in those conditions. But if you do the majority of your driving on pavement and don't want the roar of off road tires, and still get an aggressive look then these are an excellent pick. I am very happy with my purchase. I love them.

...First off they are the quietist off road capable tires ever, super smooth on pavement & they simply float on washboard gravel roads. You have to experience this level of comfort and control for yourself...
This is my 4th set of tires on my 2006 H3 Hummer and these G-15¿s are ¿by far¿ my favorite all around tire ... they look -----in¿ too!
First off they are the quietist off road capable tires ever, super smooth on pavement & they simply float on washboard gravel roads. You have to experience this level of comfort and control for yourself. Off road they hold their on any terrain that the Colorado Plateau can throw at them ... they climb rocks like they are made out of rubber gum. More than adequate on snow covered highways and casual muddy tracks.
Honestly I question the integrity of some of the negative reviews. 20,000 miles of actual real life all weather driving and they still look new, no negatives, best all around tires ever on my H3.

These tires have performed very well in extreme rain in highway conditions as well as general driving behavior. The tread wear is outstanding compared to the original OEM Goodyear. When towing a trailer at 8,000 lbs these tires performed predictably and braked well. I will purchase these again if they every wear out.

...Being mounted on MB Sprinter passenger van the tread wore much quicker than any other LT tire I've tested. At about 15,000 miles it became a totally useless on ice and by far the worst of any tire on any of my multiple vehicles driven in the same conditions... The tread life is way below average for any LT tire, comparable to tread wear of winter specific tire, without the benefit of winter tire performance. I'm using these tires during the dry Summer season only and with 31,000 miles the tread is down to 1/16", definitely end of life...
The tire is great looking with semi aggressive tread. I purchased it based on great reviews and test results. However all tests were done on brand new set and don't reflect my real life experience. I'm driving my 4WD MB Sprinter almost exclusively in Sierras between 4,000-9,000 ft elevation. With changing weather and road conditions I need a tire to handle well on ice and snow to commute between high elevation down to the slippery highway to the city. This tire provides a decent initial wet and ice handling and good dry handling. Being mounted on MB Sprinter passenger van the tread wore much quicker than any other LT tire I've tested. At about 15,000 miles it became a totally useless on ice and by far the worst of any tire on any of my multiple vehicles driven in the same conditions. At 15K and 50-60% tread left I was not able to drive up a very gently slopped driveway in 4WD engaged. I had to replaced this set in the middle of Winter with my Summer set of wheels, original All Season Continentals mounted on original rims. The difference was immediately apparent. I had no problem whatsoever to reach end of my driveway in exactly same conditions. The OEM All-Season tires perform way better on snow and ice, versus Snow Peak Rated Yokohama Geolandar AT. The tread life is way below average for any LT tire, comparable to tread wear of winter specific tire, without the benefit of winter tire performance. I'm using these tires during the dry Summer season only and with 31,000 miles the tread is down to 1/16", definitely end of life. I tried just about every major brand of tires on many different vehicles and this Yokohama Geolandar was by far the most disappointing. I would NOT recommend these tires to anyone driving in winter conditions or expecting a reasonable tread wear.
