    This is my first time ordering from Tire Rack and the whole process was amazing easy! The wheels were sent to my local Discount Tire shop. Ordered on a Tuesday, and was driving on these by Thursday. Total price with install couldn’t be beat.

    The wheels themselves look fantastic on my 2024 Subaru Crosstrek, and look far superior to the factory wheels. I have been driving on these for a month now. The factory wheels are 7” wide with a +55 offset, these are 8”wide with a +48 offset. So they just come out a smidge more than the factory wheels (1/2” to 3/4”). Which for me, is just perfect. I used the same tires that came with my Crosstrek, and they look great as well on the wider wheels.

    As an FYI, the design of the wheel with the “Y” fork protrudes maybe 1/4” to 3/8” above the level of the wheel. I only mention that because from the photos it’s too hard to tell. Also of note, the design of the wheels makes them very easy to clean as well.

    Definitely very impressed with these Borbert wheels. Just wish Tire Rack let you post photos with your review.

    I was looking for a good quality winter wheel for my 2023 VW MK8 GTI 40th Anniversary Edition. The standard 19'' wheel/tire setup was not a good setup for winter driving here in Wisconsin. I did some research on the Tire Rack site and some VW enthusiast sites to find the best option for my needs. I discovered that Borbet is a manufacturer of OEM wheels for VW. I then decided to concentrate on the Borbet wheel options offered by The Tire Rack. I have purchased a number of winter wheel/ tire combos from The Tire Rack since 1992 for various car's . I decided to do a minus- size tire winter tire wheel setup based on my prior experiences. I ultimately choose a Borbet type Y wheel (Gloss Black) in 17 x7.5 size. These wheels have no problem clearing the brake calipers (which initially was of concern). Tire Rack offers to mount and wheel /tire selections for free if you desire...before shipping. You can either elect to have the mounted /balanced wheel/tire setup shipped to your local preferred service facility or to your home. I'm very happy with the look of the wheel/tire setup on my car. The quality of of the wheels is every bit as good as the 19'' VW Scottsdale that came standard on my GTI.
