The BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3–AKA the "BFG KO3"—is the 3rd generation of BFGoodrich's legendary Off-Road All-Terrain light truck tire engineered for the on and off-road tire needs of dedicated off-roaders like Jeeps, pickup trucks and 4x4 sport utility vehicles. It's built for drivers who want rugged confidence and control no matter where their journey takes them. Following up the wildly-successful All-Terrain T/A KO2, the KO3 has been carefully designed to retain the aggressive (and classic) visual elements of BFGoodrich all terrain tires, while delivering outstanding durability, improved wear-life and traction in all weather conditions—even light snow.

Available in LT fitments, load ranges, and sizes beyond 35 inches, the KO3 features a reformulated cut, chip, and tear-resistant tread compound for greater longevity and durability. Molded into a symmetric footprint designed with a generous amount of void for off-road use, while also optimizing the footprint for more even stress distribution and uniform wear. The interlocking tread blocks are designed to work in concert with one another for stability both on and off the pavement. Broad channels at the shoulders and plenty of void space to redistribute water help maintain control in the wet. The 3-D Locking Sipes are full depth and alongside the Snow/Mud notches, are designed to help drivers find the traction they need in any environment.

The upper shoulder and sidewall feature CoreGuard Technology: a bruise- and split-resistant rubber compound that extends further down the sidewall to protect more of the tire in demanding scenarios. Alternating Shoulder Scoops deliver clawing force for control and traction in sand, dirt, or grueling off-road rock driving during "aired down" adventures, while the Mud Phobic bars keep the tire clear of built-up material so it can perform as intended. And as always, the KO3 is available with raised white sidewall lettering—perfect for making your tires and wheels pop, complementing your truck's paint, or making your classic 4x4 look the part.

Internal construction of the All-Terrain T/A KO3 utilizes a durable, triple-ply polyester casing designed for strength and reliability, along with twin, high-strength steel belts providing a robust foundation for the nylon cap ply offering high-speed capability.

NOTE: BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 tires meet the industry's severe snow service requirements and are branded with the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.

Customers Say

Feedback consistently shows the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 delivers excellent dry traction (9-10 scores dominate) and reliable wet performance, with hydroplaning resistance frequently rated 8-10. Winter traction earns praise for confident snow handling, though ice scores occasionally dip to 7-8. Comfort receives strong marks for ride quality, though some note minor road noise. Treadwear ratings (7-10) highlight durability in rugged conditions, aligning with all-terrain expectations. Customers emphasize balanced off-road capability and on-road manners, with many highlighting the tire's versatility across mixed surfaces. While most categories show consistent high performance, a few lower ice traction scores suggest prioritizing winter-specific tires for extreme icy conditions.

Fantastic tires. I had the KO2's that came with my 2019 Jeep and compared to those tires, there is a VERY noticeable improvement in wet-road traction. SO much better!!! As one of the features touted for the KO3 in comparison to the KO2 (i.e. better wet road traction), it is nice to see that they really do what they say. Haven't had snow yet... and haven't ben off-road yet, but I'm expecting performance on par with the KO2s - which was solid. Wins all around!

...These tires provide a noticeably positive difference in handling and much better traction in wet conditions...

A couple of years ago, I had a set of KO2s on my Wrangler. By comparison, on my GMC 1500, the KO3s are mildly more refined yet worth the money. These tires provide a noticeably positive difference in handling and much better traction in wet conditions. Road noise isn’t nearly as drastic either. The one complaint I can echo is they are stone magnets - have flares or keep them tucked. Note: I have a 1.5 leveling kit on my Sierra and was able to successfully go with 285/60-20 without any rubbing.

...I have driven across country, in 10" of snow and off road in the Ford sponsored Raptor Assault off-road driving experience (in their trucks with the same tires) and would definitely buy these tires again.

The KO3’s came from the factory on my 2024 Ranger Raptor. I’ve had several sets of KO2’s on multiple Jeep Wranglers over the years so I was excited to see if the KO3’s would be as good. With 15k miles on this set I am more than pleased. I have driven across country, in 10” of snow and off road in the Ford sponsored Raptor Assault off-road driving experience (in their trucks with the same tires) and would definitely buy these tires again.

I have not been in mud or rock crawling, but in snow and ice has been great.

I have had many sets of BFG K02 and they tend to have balancing issues. I was concerned these new K03 might, but my first set is great. They ride better than the Michelin tires ltx that were on the Jeep. I have not been in mud or rock crawling, but snow and ice has been great.

...Best part is honestly the snow performance I've taken them up some rough snow covered hills and roads with no issues...

My only complaint with these tires is I had a hard time getting them to balance. I got them road force balanced and it helped tremendously. Otherwise these are some of the best A/T tires I've had, they are are extremely tough i drive lots of rough back roads with mud and rock and they do great. Best part is honestly the snow performance I've taken them up some really rough snow covered hills and roads with no issues. Wet and dry traction has been great as well. Can't comment on treadwear I'm only 6k in on them

Overall really good tire would defiantly recommend them. They aren't loud at all at least not that I can tell, very comfortable ride compared to the last tires I had. Would defiantly buy again. Within the first few days of owing them it rained and they handled really well in that. Haven't experienced snow yet but I live in the Midwest so its going to happen sooner than later.

These KO3 tires are much smoother than the KO2. They handle just as well but the ride is so smooth compared to the KO2, glad I went for the minor additional cost and got these.

I’ve always been a ram of BFG. I had good experiences with Radial T/A on most of my classics. This is my first all terrain tire from them. So far, super quiet, handles smoothly and appear to be wearing well… very few miles though so, we’ll see!
