Does this tire fit your vehicle?

Tires are designed specifically for different vehicles and wheel sizes. Tell us about your vehicle or the specific size you want so we can help find the right tires for you.

The ADVAN A052 is Yokohama's Extreme Performance Summer tire developed for drivers who use their street-driven vehicles to participate in high-performance driving schools, autocross, and open track events and want Yokohama's highest level of DOT-approved performance. Like all Extreme Performance Summer tires, the ADVAN A052 is not intended to be serviced, stored nor driven in near- and below-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.

The ADVAN A052 molds Yokohama's motorsports MS Compound into a track-ready, asymmetric tread design for extreme levels of grip. The low-void tread pattern features wide center ribs and an expansive outboard shoulder for maximum traction, and the rounded tread profile helps to evenly distribute pressure across the footprint, creating more contact with the road. Notches in the outboard micro groove improve cooling for added durability and consistency when used on the track. Two wide, circumferential grooves and the notched inboard shoulder help evacuate water from the tread pattern to enhance hydroplaning resistance.

A casing consisting of two plies of nylon cord supports two wide, steel belts beneath the tread and helps contribute to precise and responsive handling. Two spirally-wound, nylon reinforcement plies improve high-speed durability and further promote the steering response expected from a track-capable tire.

Important Care and Usage Instructions: Important Care and Usage Instructions: The ADVAN A052 was developed using high-performance compounds which become brittle at low temperatures, and therefore should not be used in certain conditions. ADVAN A052 tires thus must be stored or used only at temperatures at or above 14°F (-10°C) to maintain performance characteristics and to avoid any damage to the tire or injury to persons or property.

Bridgestone Reviews

Feedback patterns show the Bridgestone Turanza EL400-02 RFT delivers strong dry traction (scores 7-10) with responsive handling, aligning well with its all-season touring role. Treadwear emerges as a major concern, with frequent low scores (0-3) indicating premature wear. Comfort receives mixed feedback, with some noting harsh ride quality and elevated noise levels (scores 2-6). Winter traction shows limitations in snow/ice conditions (scores 0-5), though some report adequate light snow capability. Wet performance splits opinions - decent hydroplaning resistance (scores 5-8) contrasts with occasional traction concerns in heavy rain. While dry performance satisfies most drivers, the combination of short tread life and comfort issues tempers overall satisfaction for year-round use.

...They stick nicely in corners and with dry pavement riding, there are no issues...

I just recently got my 2011 Sienna AWD and love it. I know many will comment that the run flats are horrible, expensive, loud, etc...well, for those who comment (or haven't) and/or have never really tried them (especially generation 3), I can say that they are not that loud, are quite comfortable, and here are only about $200.00/tire...the bottom line is that they are nice tires with a HUGE safety factor built in. I have no problems with them thus far and it's nice to know my tire cannot blow out...

Ride comfort is top notch and they are not much (if any) louder than any other tire I've ever had. They stick nicely in corners and with dry pavement riding, there are no issues. I also drove in the rain the other day...they were like glue...no issues...sure, it's nice to have an AWD minivan....but, it's even nicer to have a quality tire.

Run flats have come a far way...Toyota Sienna AWD customers are now benefitting from technology gains...this is a quality tire that you can feel safe with!

Not even at 25,000 miles and these tires are bald as a racing slick and loud as a screaming eagle at 70mph. Horrrrribbbleee in the rain, limits speed to under 55mph or the whole car starts to shimmy around. Not sure what BMW was thinking putting these on their cars.

worn out at 34k, unable to go up a hill with over 4 inches of snow. Any ice, rain or snow on highway causes hydroplaning have to drive much slower than everyone else. Toyota sent out a warning not to tow or load to weight capacity with these original tires. Bridgestone makes unsafe terrible run flat tires. Beware of Toyota for using them.

235/55R18 RunFlat (RFT) came with my new 2019 Toyota Sienna XLE.
Worst tire I've ever owned. Even brand new, traction on wet roads or even a hint of snow was horrible. We even had an expensive accident from the terrible traction after a light dusting of snow on the ground, going very slowly, it slid into a curb and cost me plenty of money replacing an A-arm.
Even after 15k miles, these didn't feel very good. I should have replaced them sooner, but I ran them until one blew out at 32k miles.

I wish I had replaced these the moment I took possession of my new vehicle, I will never buy another set of Bridgestone if I can help it, ever, ever again.
Replacing with a high-end continental - not run-flats, and I hope to enjoy my vehicle much more once these terrible tires are out of my life.

Last December my driveway had a light coat of packed snow on it and my minivan slid down the driveway with the ABS going off madly and the car sliding into the street like a sled...

These tires were OEM on my 15 Sienna Limited AWD. Wet and dry traction were good but nothing to brag about. The tires developed a whining tread noise shortly after I got the vehicle. Tread wear was even but pretty bad. At 16,000 miles, the treads are down to 4/32" on 2 tires and 5/32" on the other 2, and the tires have been rotated every 5,000 miles.

...Also, the traction in the winter is terrible. Need to also invest in some winter RF tires to keep the family save.

We just passed 20,000 miles and get to replace the full set on our 2011 Sienna. No warranty and all the dealer can say is sorry...hearing lots of complaints on these run flat tires. Also, no options other than the Bridgestone Dueler, so will give that one a try. Completely unhappy with the tire and can't believe Toyota continues to use it. Also, the traction in the winter is terrible. Need to also invest in some winter RF tires to keep the family save.

...The ride quality is horrible and you can feel every single bump in the road. Very stiff ride and noisy to boot. Compared to the Michelin Energy Tires we replaced them with they ride like Rocks...

We got these on our new 2011 Sienna AWD. We had to replace ALL FOUR of these tires today. They lasted 12,000 Miles. We have also had two flats in the last two months with these tires and the second one could not be patched. The ride quality is horrible and you can feel every single bump in the road. Very stiff ride and noisy to boot. Compared to the Michelin "Energy" Tires we replaced them with they ride like Rocks.

All in all, I'd say these new "run flats" will probably not be around in a few years. Both the Tire Shop (who couldn't find one anywhere) and the Dealer all say they are notorious for getting poor mileage and for getting ruined if you actually DO drive on them when they are flat. They are also very hard to find. Even good old Tire Rack didn't have them in stock today. In the end, we decided to just get a good set of Michelin "Energy" Tires and carry a can of "Fix a Flat" in the car. The Run Flats are a disaster. I suggest you wear out all four (which won't take long) and replace them all with another brand.

...Very loud and you feel every bump on the highway...

Not sure what toyota was thinking when they chose these as the oem tires. Very loud a d you feel every bump on the highway. Fronts on the first set wore through to the cords in less than 15k miles. Second set started to have two go bad at around 15k again. Only stuck with them, foolishly, the second go round because two of the 4 showed very little wear. Now all four show significant cupping. These get rotated every winter when we change them out for our snow tires. Switching to non-runflats and a different brand now.

I checked the tires and the radials are showing at 32K miles. I can't believe they are so worn after only 32K miles...

I would only purchase these tires again, because I can't find any other. My wife primarily drives my minivan and she told me the other day that she thinks she needs new tires. I checked the tires and the radials are showing at 32K miles. I can't believe they are so worn after only 32K miles. Piece of garbage, but what is my alternative? I can't take my chance on getting a flat tire. NEVER again will I buy a vehicle with no room for a spare. THANKS TOYOTA!

Awful tires! Never buying again! They came factory on our vehicle. We have 28k miles and have stayed on top of regular maintenance. They already need to be replaced and one is showing wire. At roughly $1000 to replace this is ridiculous! I shouldn't need to buy tires every 25k miles. I contacted Bridgestone and it's been 3 days with no response from them. ...I had inside tire wear with secondary rubber showing and very little tread left... The original Turanzas lasted almost two years... I am greatly disappointed in the wear and replacement costs.

Well shoot. I am just a mom with a minivan. I took my van in for it's 30,000 mi maintenance. Toyota tells me my tires are shot and they quoted me $1111 to replace. I had inside tire wear with secondary rubber showing and very little tread left. My options are severely limited for replacements if I stick with run flats. I can either get another set of the Turanzas or another Bridgestone tire called the Dueler H/L 400. Since my Sienna does not have a spare, and it seems ridiculous to ride around with a full sized spare or some fix-a -flat, I guess I am stuck ----ing it up and getting another set of run flats. The original Turanzas lasted almost two years. If I do the math, looks like I need to start socking away $40 a month in a savings account for next time. To add insult to injury, within the first few months of driving this vehicle I got a puncture in the sidewall that couldn't be repaired an I was stuck paying $230 for one replacement. OUCH!! I also got another puncture after that but it was repaired just fine. Toyota really needs to get it together. Don't they know I have to pay for daycare too? Hindsight, If I knew that the tires on this thing last half as as long and cost twice as much, I probably would not have got the Sienna (or any vehicle without a spare). As far as performance goes, I live in Salt Lake City and rallied these tires through the snow on highways and up the canyon roads. Rarely did I lose traction. They handled well in snow and rain and were not that loud when they had good tread for that measly year and a half. I am greatly disappointed in the wear and replacement costs.
