The Cinturato P7 tires are Pirelli's Ultra High Performance Summer tire developed for the drivers of sport coupes and sedans. The Cinturato P7's unique combination of qualities have been made possible by Pirelli's Green Performance approach to developing products offering a synergy of driving pleasure, performance, safety and respect of the environment. The Pirelli Ecoimpact icons on the sidewalls of Cinturato P7 tires highlight their contribution to the environment with regards to energy efficiency, clean air, low noise and long wear. Pirelli's warranty does not cover tires that develop compound cracking due to use in ambient temperatures below 45° Fahrenheit (7° Celsius), so the Cinturato P7 tires, like all summer tires, are not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.
The Cinturato P7 uses a low rolling resistance tread compound that features technologically advanced polymers to increase grip on wet and dry roads while it reduces vehicle fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. This compound is molded into an asymmetric tread design that promotes even wear, improves ride comfort and reduces noise levels. A robust shoulder and continuous ribs on the outboard portion of the tire enhance lateral grip on dry roads while four circumferential channels provide efficient expulsion of water from the contact patch to enhance hydroplaning resistance and wet traction. The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by nylon cap plies to provide high speed-durability.
Note: Cinturato P7 tires are designed and produced using eco-focused manufacturing methods and feature low rolling resistance (LRR) compounds and constructions to enhance the vehicle fuel economy of their Original Equipment applications. These tires are identified as such with Pirelli's Ecoimpact designation on their Sizes and Specs pages.

...Great wet traction... The car had Michelin tires on it when we bought it used last year. They were not good in the rain as the car would slide easily and accelerating would spin the tires. These tires don't do that...
My wife and I both drive this car. She travels to work 100 miles round trip two days a week. The tires are awesome ! Great wet traction. Quiet and responsive on dry pavement. All around traction is very good along with braking confidence. Really haven't driven in snow as we didn't get much last year here in south east NJ. And when it does snow my wife will work from home and I use my Durango. The car had Michelin tires on it when we bought it used last year. They were not good in the rain as the car would slide easily and accelerating would spin the tires. These tires don't do that. Very grippy . I would buy these again.

...So the 40mi round trip to my favorite installer afforded the perfect before/after comparison. The way there I tucked myself into a slow moving lane to keep from hydroplaning in the standing water on the freeway. But the way back was in a word, phenomenal...
Our Mini came with a spare so decided to dump the OE run-flats at 14,000 mi. Objectives were threefold: to improve the harsh ride of the run-flats; to improve wet traction which is critical here in NW Oregon; and to achieve the first two while maintaining the Mini's go-kart style handling. Snow/ice was not critical as we have a Crosstrek for that. By chance we had a rainstorm on installation day (not the constant drizzle so common here, but a real storm). So the 40mi round trip to my favorite installer afforded the perfect before/after comparison. The way there I tucked myself into a slow moving lane for most of the trip to keep from hydroplaning in the standing water on the freeway. But the way back was in a word, phenomenal. The Conti's are quieter and have a much smoother ride on the surface streets. Reminiscent of my old '03 E46 w/sport suspension. Score 1. On the rain soaked freeway they excel. They were surefooted and exuded confidence as I moved at speed between lanes, maneuvering around semi's to a safe, unobstructed position in traffic. Score 2. And to my surprise the Mini's go-kart steering response was not only preserved but improved. Maybe the result of the Conti's being 3 lbs lighter per tire than the Hankook's. Score 3. Yes it's early, but so far I'm a very happy camper.

...Ride comfort, handling, and wet traction are also better then the previous tires...
Only have 1500 miles on these tires so far, but wanted to post a review to help other Tesla owners. I purchased these tires based on other reviews for qualities I was interested in. Compared to the OEM Michelin MXM4s that were on the car before, these tires are smooth and much quieter. Noise is definitely something you notice in a Tesla. Ride comfort , handling, and wet traction are also better then the previous tires. Based on my experience to date, I would definitely buy these tires again. The tires are rated for 75K miles. I doubt I will get there as that is an issue for Teslas, but I will update my review in a few years when I am closer.

This tire is great. Just drove 2 hours in a rain storm and no hydroplaning - they were perfect. Also had a chance to drive this winter in the snow. Excellent Traction - Highly recommend!

Great all around tire. Very good wet, dry and snow weather tire. Very quiet and very good tread wear. I have these tires on my Subaru Legacy and forester. I am on my fourth set.

...Snow performance is very good, we have had quite a few rough days of snow that takes the plows a while to clear. Driving smart, cautious of the conditions, these tires will serve you well. Don't expect to go flying around at 45-60 mph on back roads in the snow though, no tire is designed for that...
I have had these tires for 18 months, including two winters and I must say, they are excellent all around tires for the money. I was a little skeptical but had high hopes given they cost almost as much as a truck tire. They have excellent stability and cornering. I drive a good mix of city/back country roads as well as long highway trips. I also have had this (stock) Subaru on very rural farms or camps where everyone else is driving trucks. The tires perform well in offroad applications as well including muddier, wet dirt roads. As far as tread wear, after 23,000 miles, they still look great.
These tires have molded treadwear indicators at different depths. "S" is the shallowest indication that once you cant see the letter "S" in the tread, they are no longer snow rated. Mine all still show the "S" after 23,000 miles. Snow performance is very good, we have had quite a few rough days of snow that takes the plows a while to clear. Driving smart, cautious of the conditions, these tires will serve you well. Don't expect to go flying around at 45-60 mph on back roads in the snow though, no tire is designed for that.
These tires did have a little noise when new while going down the highway but once broken in, they were as quiet as any at up to 90 mph. Smooth as well. Keep them balanced and rotate them and you will get max life out of them. My 06 Subaru gets about 29 mpg average with mixed driving and on long stretches of HWY, I routinely see 31-33 mpg average depending on length of the drive. These tires are very economical in that regard.
In short, I would not hesitate to buy another set for a car and when it does come time to buy another set, I will look here first. Tire rack was very easy to work with and I had them shipped to a local Firestone service center for installation. Really quick and painless process.

...Dry handling and traction are excellent, though I don't push to the limits, so I don't know where these are compared to other tires...
These tires are nice looking with a conservative shoulder, sidewall and tread appearance. I have not tried them in snow. They seem to be very good in wet conditions, including very wet roads at interstate speeds. Dry handling and traction are excellent, though I don't push to the limits, so I don't know where these are compared to other tires. The downsides; These are noisy, as other reviewers have noted. Coarse textured surfaces produce more pronounced noise than smoother, but noise is always present. Flat spots occur after sitting overnight, worsened by longer duration and lower temperatures. They smooth out after 3 to 5 miles, depending on length of sitting and temperature. (Note that tires are inflated to 36 psi all positions.) Otherwise ride is good, but not superior to other premium A/S tires on my other car.

...Importantly. they will give you some warning (noise) if they are getting near the limit on dry roads -- very important for us front wheel drivers with dreaded understeer...
This is a very well-balanced tire for a Civic. Good dry/wet performance, fairly quiet, pretty good in a little snow. You won't win autocrosses or the Virginia City Hill Climb, but it will get you around with good, dependable performance and even an occasional sprint through the back roads outside of town. Importantly. they will give you some warning (noise) if they are getting near the limit on dry roads -- very important for us front wheel drivers with dreaded understeer. Solid, dependable.

...Just completed a 2,700 mile road trip from California to Florida (for college). I needed a tire with excellent dry and wet capabilities, that would wear well and wouldn't be overly noisy. Happy to report I'm very satisfied with these PureContact LS tires...
Researched the heck out of tires for my daughter’s 2020 Camry. Just completed a 2,700 mile road trip from California to Florida (for college). I needed a tire with excellent dry and wet capabilities, that would wear well and wouldn’t be overly noisy. Happy to report I’m very satisfied with these PureContact LS tires. We encountered two major downpours, which were handled quite well. On the first, in west Texas, the roads didn’t drain as well as I would have liked. Felt a little hydroplaney over 70mph, but settled down in the 60s. The second storm was a torrent in the Alabama/Mississippi area. Their roads were built to drain quickly which let the tires hook up quite well at highway speeds.
Bottom line is I trust this tire to do well in my daughter’s car 2,500 miles away from home in an area known for all sorts of bad weather. Would definitely recommend.

...The ride is nice and smooth... It's almost eerie how quiet the ride is. I hear more road noise from cars driving next to me than from my own car...
I recently swapped out the stock 18" Aero wheels on my Tesla Model 3 LR AWD to a set of 19" BBS CI-Rs from TireRack. I also slightly upsized the tires to 245/40/19 to help defend against curb rash and pothole damage. After a ton of research, I decided on a set of these Continental PureContact LS tires mainly because of noise level and wet/dry traction. I live in San Diego, so it's mostly sunny, but it does rain every now and then and when it does, all -------- breaks loose. In the short amount of time I've been using these tires, I've had the chance to drive in both wet and dry conditions. The tires perform spectacularly. The ride is nice and smooth and traction is great on wet and dry roads. My favorite part about the tire is how quiet it is. The stock Michelins have foam in them to reduce road noise, but I would say these perform the same or better without the foam. Because the Model 3 doesn't have a noisy engine, road noise is a lot more noticeable in general, but these keep it to a minimum. It's almost eerie how quiet the ride is. I hear more road noise from cars driving next to me than from my own car. If you've got a Tesla and you're looking for a set of tires that will be quiet and comfortable on daily commutes, I highly recommend these.

It's early days yet. I just purchased these Continentals to replace the OEM Goodyear Eagles, which after 5 years were starting to show dry rot, and were noisy to boot. As I pulled away from my mechanic's shop, I could tell the difference in quietness and comfort right away. My route home, in an area that prides itself on having the finest of Third World roads, was about 50/50 good/poor. The Contis were fantastic on the good and great on the bad. I found myself grinning more than once.
I have not yet driven on these tires in much rain, and snow and ice are mythical monsters that are rarely sighted here. So I can't comment now on wet, snow, or ice traction. And treadwear comments will have to wait for a year or two. Still, so far very good. (And TR's service was top-notch: I ordered on Monday morning, and the tires arrived at my mechanic by 10:30 on Tuesday.)

These tires are incredibly quiet and have worn evenly. I currently have 81,000 miles on them compared to the warranty for 70,000 miles. I like the "DWS" wear marker on the tires to indicate safe driving conditions for Dry, Wet, and Snow. I still have 4/32" tread on them after 81,000 miles and the S has been worn off. I should surprising get another 4-5k miles on them. I am running these on a rear wheel drive 2007 Lexus GS350. This car does terrible in snow and I have not found an all season tire including these that perform well in snow. Otherwise, I find these to be a great tire.
