...these also have the best wet grip, providing confident handling in changing road conditions...
I'm very happy with the VikingContact 7 on the F-150. The ride comfort, noise levels, and steering feel are remarkably similar to the OE tires on this vehicle. For road manners this is the best winter tire I have ever experienced, with negligible compromise in comfort or steering precision.
Snow traction is excellent as expected and these tires feel exceptionally stable with none of the squirm on center I have experienced on other snow tires in this size. Traction is good enough I have not needed to engage 4WD at all so far this winter.
Compared to winter tires I've used on previous vehicles these also have the best wet grip, providing confident handling in changing road conditions. Overall I'm very happy with this tire selection.

High marks highlight confident handling in deep snow and icy conditions, though a few note slightly lower ice performance. Exceptional winter capability for demanding scenarios.

...Traction on snow is definitely better...
This is a winter tire, we used it without issues for about 4 months. I couldn't tell any difference compared to a all season tire in terms of noise or fuel economy. Traction on snow is definitely better. So far I'm happy with this purchase. Thank you!

...These tires have no trouble with deep snow or ice. They have allowed me to drive through stuff that SUVs and trucks could not with lesser tires...
Great snow tire. They have made my model Y super stable in the snow. We live on a steep dirt road. These tires have no trouble with deep snow or ice. They have allowed me to drive through stuff that SUVs and trucks could not with lesser tires. Could not be happier with them.

...The wear has been slow, and I feel I could get 20k more miles out of these...
These tires are fantastic. They are not as sticky as the Pirellis that '22 MYP came with, but they offer more traction in the wet, snow, or ice. Overall, living on the coast with more rain assured us to handle every steep corner with precision and ease. They also served well going to Yosemite, Taho, and other winter wonderlands at 7,000 ft with lots of snow with ease. The wear has been slow, and I feel I could get 20k more miles out of these. The only thing I would say is that there is about 1-2% efficiency loss as they are not a eco tires.
Bottom line, if you need a good balance for year-round tires, with minimal wear, minimal road noise, and great traction in any condition, these are worthy of a look.

...Other than that, I like them better than Blizzaks and on par with Michelins and they're wearing real well.
I’m probably a bit biased since I have had the VikingContact 7s for three years on my 2013 VW Touareg, but I am very pleased with the winter performance of these tires. I was a bit curious how they’d be in a lower profile, but no issues. They are soft and get a bit squirmy when temps get into the 50s (Fahrenheit), which is not concerning. The only demerit is what I feel longer wet braking. ABS kicks in early. Other than that, I like them better than Blizzaks and on par with Michelins and they’re wearing real well.
