The Grabber A/TX is General's Off-Road All-Terrain tire developed for the drivers of pickup trucks, work vans and full-size SUVs who need confident traction in a variety of conditions, whether that is on pavement, in dirt, wet conditions and even light snow. The Grabber A/TX is designed to blend rugged durability and on-road civility, in addition to providing light snow traction that meets the tire industry's severe snow service requirements and earns the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.

A tough, cut- and chip-resistant compound is molded into the all-terrain tread pattern of the Grabber A/TX. General's Comfort Balance Technology utilizes an absorption layer under the tread and acoustic tread pattern to enhance ride and sound comfort, and the wide footprint and optimized pattern stiffness help evenly distribute pressure for even wear and long life. Stone bumpers between the alternating shoulder blocks help eject rocks and debris to prevent drilling, and Sidewall Protection Lugs are designed to protect from sidewall punctures. Deep starting tread depths and multi-angle tread blocks aid traction in loose terrain, while traction notches and sipes create additional biting edges for grip in dirt, wet conditions and snow. Grabber A/TX tires are designed to accept optional metal studs to enhance traction on ice and packed snow.

The internal construction of the Grabber A/TX utilizes General's DuraGen Technology, with ultra-high-strength steel belts, a robust, two-ply polyester casing to balance toughness and ride comfort and two polyamide reinforcement plies that aid durability and provide high-speed capability.

Note: While non-winter tires featuring the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol may provide additional longitudinal snow traction beyond what all-season (M+S) tires not bearing the symbol can deliver, they do not match the capability of a true winter tire in all adverse weather conditions.

...Wet pavement is good too...

Tires look great, dont kill my mileage, much quieter than BFG KO's, handle great on roads, dirt, general mud and snow. Wet pavement is good too. The one negative I have is the sidewall's are a bit too soft and I wish they were a little more rigid. This is the only thing that would make me consider another brand. If General fixed this issue, it would be the only tire I'd buy.

I like these better than bfg allterrains or cooper ! Quiet long lasting great traction. Live in the country these are the right choice. Beach trip? Really good highway and great Aired down when you get in the sand. Solid snow performer ! Seriously good choice. Running three sets right now on three different half ton trucks None showing weird wear or any sign of failure. Highly recommend!

Best traction in my experience than Wildpeaks / Toyo AT3 / Nitto Crossmax. I experienced chunking on AT3s. Side wall cracking on AT3/Wildpeaks/Crossmax. On my second set of Grabbers and they’ve been bulletproof.

Great tires the ride is extremely comfortable and more importantly reliable I have a house in the mountains that gets a significant amount of snow as well as an apartment in a metropolitan City. It doesn't matter if I am driving on City roads or the mountain gravel roads to my house these tires provide the performance and reliability I expect. I have over a 2800 FT elevation Ascent on gravel roads from my house to the paved County Roads. I never have to worry about driving during a snowstorm iced roads or heavy rain downpours these tires are amazing.

They ride great, super comfy for long drives, off roading was better than I expected as well. If your putting this on a Miata you will have to trim your fenders. Also recommend extended front lower ball joints for correct camber adjustment.

...I got 87,000 miles on them and still have 9/32" tread... With regular rotations (5-6,000 miles) these tires will definitely last me to 100,000 miles or more!

Great tires, I got them instead of the KO2s and not looking back. I got 87,000 miles on them and still have 9/32” tread, great mix of highway, city, off-road and towing equipment and boats along with a 2,000 mile trip with 1,400 lbs in the bed.

These tires have been absolutely great, there’s a little road noise for the first rotation or 2 but quiets right down.

They do great in ag fields, wet boat launches, pulling equipment in and out of job sites, driving in snow and wet roads. Only have broken traction 2 times on wet pavement but was more of a driver input being a little aggressive.

These tires do pick up rocks and can get stuck depending on the size but are easily picked out. They wash out quite well with mud, sand and snow.

These have been out through a lot and have been beyond happy with them and would highly recommend! With regular rotations (5-6,000 miles) these tires will definitely last me to 100,000 miles or more!

When I traded this truck in, I had 67,000 miles on the tires and they still had good tread on them. The stock tires were toast after 30,000 miles ( Firestone Transforce). Great in snow and ice, a little loud on the highway, but I will buy them again.
