The Agilis CrossClimate is Michelin's Highway All-Season tire developed for the drivers of delivery vans, work trucks and multi-purpose vehicles who need a durable tire that can endure high-stress use, including heavy loads and rough conditions. Available in heavy-duty, LT-metric and Euro-metric Commercial Vehicle (designated by the suffix C, not to be confused with LT-metric Load Range C) sizes, Agilis CrossClimate tires are designed to be used under load and to provide confident dry and wet traction. The LT sizes of these tires meet industry severe snow service requirements for the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol and can be considered all-weather tires.

Agilis CrossClimate tires mold an all-season compound into a symmetric pattern for LT-metric sizes or a directional pattern for Euro-metric Commercial Vehicle sizes. Both tread patterns utilize Michelin's StabiliBlok Technology, which provides wider and longer tread blocks to manage heat and withstand the high torque loads delivered by commercial vehicles. SipeLock technology delivers hundreds of biting edges for wet and snow traction while helping to maintain tread block stability for handling and improved wear, and CurbGard Sidewall Protectors help resist damage from curbs in tight, urban environments. Deep lateral grooves and open shoulder slots evacuate water from the footprint for hydroplaning resistance, while independent tread blocks and sipes combine for confident light snow traction.

The internal construction of the Agilis CrossClimate is focused on durability under load. A robust, two-ply polyester casing supports two heavy-duty steel belts (3 steel belts in 235/65R16C and 225/75R16C sizes). A polyamide reinforcement ply helps control the contact patch and further enhances durability.

Note: While non-winter tires featuring the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol may provide additional longitudinal snow traction beyond what all-season (M+S) tires not bearing the symbol can deliver, they do not match the capability of a true winter tire in all adverse weather conditions.

...Wet and dry traction also excellent...

Unbeatable for commercial driving. I've had these on a Sprinter used for expedite work. With proper rotation and maintained alignment they last 100k plus. Without rotation the rear tires go 70-80k and the fronts will last indefinitely (I'm at 140k on one pair and still going, even through they have spent the last 20k in the rear). Since they are fairly worn and winter driving season is here I'm replacing the whole set and giving these to a friend of mine who stays down south doing medical delivery.

Winter traction is outstanding if driven properly. Wet and dry traction also excellent. I never take these off road other than the occasional dirt or gravel road but for me they have done fine in those situations. I wouldn't compare these to an actually AT or MT tire though. They are quiet when new but do develop some noise as they age.

Living in Ea NC we get very little frozen precipitation, but a pretty good amount of rain. I've been happy with wet traction. What little frozen precipitation we do get these tires handle it quite well.

Road noise is minimal, but my truck is a diesel and hearing road noise over the engine is hard.

...They are excellent on dry roads, wet roads, light snow, and deep (12 inches) snow. Fantastic grip in snow... The only time the traction control activated was when accelerating hard on icy road (black ice)...

I have this tire mounted on a Cheve Express AWD passenger van with a 7300 lb. GVWR. These tires are amazing. They are excellent on dry roads, wet roads, light snow, and deep (12 inches) snow. Fantastic grip in snow. I drive hard. These tires really surprised me. Accelerating hard from a stop on dry, wet, snowy roads the tires grip well. The only time the traction control activated was when accelerating hard on icy road (black ice). Braking is also excellent. I can make it slide on solid ice, but not in snow or on wet roads. The only negative thing about these tires is that you do feel the road bumps. These tires offer little cushioning of road imperfections. However, they are not as bad in this respect as the previous tires I had on the vehicle ... Goodyear Wrangler Trailrunner AT. So these Agilis CrossClimate are an improvement. The ride hardness does not really bother me because traction under all conditions is more important to me in this vehicle.

I only have about 3000 miles on these so far; so they are still new. I am anxious to see how they perform after 50,000 miles.

It's a nice load range e tire that worked surprising well plowing snow. My previous truck had dedicated winter tires (Blizzaks from Tire Rack) for plowing and these all weather tires are almost as good. A minor complaint: I was pulling a medium size trailer on a wet lawn & I did get stuck in some mud. The tires clogged with mud & the treads didn't seem to expel the mud. All in all I'm very happy with my purchase. A final though as a non-commercial buyer - I have purchased many tires from Tire Rack over the years & it would be nice if you gave repeat buyers an extra discount.

Initial impressions are based solely on my first Hwy drive after leaving the tire shop. Compared to the OEMs (Michelin Defender XT 235/65R16) that they replace there is a massive improvement in the factors that are important to me: handling is improved by eliminating vagueness, braking at speed is significantly better, road noise is only a marginally different tone (but not noticeably louder and is certainly much quieter than my studded Nokian Hakkapeliitta 9SUV 235/60R17).

There is a definite "Truckness" to the feel of the tire so these won't be quiet so cushy as the Defenders, but that was exactly what I was hoping to steer away from and gain more confidence when the Van is fully (over)loaded.

I bought this minivan used @ 80,000km [50,000 Miles] and those Defenders went until 185,000 km [116,000 Miles]. I definitely pushed it this past summer thru 35,000 km [22,000 Miles] and the belt was showing this fall. I'm excited that these new CrossClimates will do much better on Mountain FSRs (Forestry Service Roads) and the commercial tough sidewall will assist when fully loaded on rougher terrain and sustain scorching heat of August days on high mountain passes travelling in excess of 120 kph [75 mph].

I will update this review once I've logged some muddy/gravelly FSR trips. Happy #Vanlife, life's an Odyssey

...Road performance is excellent on dry, handling is precise and uniform in the turns.

Michelin tire buyer for decades. When original tires on my 2019 Ford F250 needed replacement due to poor winter traction, looked to purchase 4 new Defenders. Was told that tires were backordered due to Michelin tire plant Covid19 shutdown.
Looked for a equal alternative and found the Agilis. The reviews were actually better than the Defenders, so I bought the Michelin Agilis.
Was impressed with the deep and aggressive tread, and after 2000 plus miles I can say they are better.
Road noise may be slightly more than the Defenders, it is difficult to tell in a diesel powered truck. I honestly could not even tell the difference.
Road performance is excellent on wet and dry, handling is precise and uniform in the turns.
I read that these tires are meant for HD trucks and that they are heavier than the Defenders, I thought it may affect fuel economy. I did not see any difference, but I do have 1000 ft.lbs of torque with the 6.7 diesel. If there is any reduction in economy, the safety and traction is well worth it. If you can avoid a accident and body work, why dwell over tire weight?
I am very impressed with the Agilis tires, would / will be buying them again when needed. Do to my recent purchase and low miles, no tread life opinion, but if like the rest of the Michelin line, you will be pleased.

...They're much quieter than any other tire I've had on this truck...

I've always had good luck with Michelin all-season tires, and these seem to continue the trend. They're much quieter than any other tire I've had on this truck, and I anticipate good tread longevity. Any 3/4 ton pickup is a heavy machine that chews up tires, but Michelin tires last longer than other brands I've tried.

...After a years use the treadwear is very good and I have been extremely pleased with this purchase...

These were placed on a used truck which had a set of Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT mounted by the selling dealer, they had the incorrect Load range C and I didn’t like the ride and handling of those tires. The Michelins were the correct Load range E. They immediately corrected the ride, handling, noise and the Agilis are severe winter rated so they are also snow tires. After a years use the treadwear is very good and I have been extremely pleased with this purchase. I would recommend these tires for any general highway use and towing a 7000+ lb. Trailer.

The OEM tire lasted about 12K miles. At 8000 plus miles these tires don't show any wear. They are quiet, reasonably comfortable and handle as well as can be expected on a 3/4 ton pickup. I use these for towing a trailer and zero issues. They are great in the rain. These are definitely worth the extra cost.
