Standard Touring All-Season tires are for drivers who want a combination of sporty appearance, long wear, predictable handling and S- or T-speed rated durability, along with all-season traction including in light snow. Standard Touring All-Season tires branded with the M+S symbol are often used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on sporty coupes and sedans.
O.E. Standard Touring All-Season tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle's original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. tires' performance category and specifications.

Feedback demonstrates the Nexen N Priz AH8 excels in dry traction (scores 8-10) and treadwear, with many customers noting long-lasting performance. However, comfort receives mixed feedback, with some reporting harsh ride quality and noticeable road noise. Winter traction shows inconsistency, with adequate snow capability but significant struggles on ice (scores 0-5 in ice traction). Wet conditions reveal decent grip (scores 7-9) but occasional hydroplaning concerns. As an all-season tire, it delivers reliable dry performance and durability, though buyers prioritizing winter versatility or refined comfort may find limitations.

The N Priz AH8 tires came as standard equipment on my 2017 Elantra Limited. These tires are definitely designed for more performance than comfort. They are outstanding on dry pavement. When going straight, the tires will try keep going straight with very little wandering off center line. They corner exceptionally well at speed with no noise. Have had no problems at all in the rain with no lose of grip even at higher speeds than I normally drive at while its raining. Only driven on very small patches of snow and the traction has been good. Don't know about deeper snow or ice. The big problem with these tires is comfort and noise. They transfer any bump in the road into the cabin with large bumps really unsettling the ride at times. Also very noisy with a pronounced growl at all times even over smooth pavement. If you want a performance tire, you can consider these, but I will not purchase on set when these are replaced.

...The treadwear is phenomenal on these tires...
Overall, I think this is an excellent performing OEM all-season touring tire. The treadwear is phenomenal on these tires. Dry and wet traction are outstanding and I feel in control of the vehicle. They aren’t winter tires, so anything more than light/powdered snow is asking too much of an all-season tire, but that’s expected.

...At 41,681 miles our tread wear is now at the point, where dealership writes: ' May require future attention'...
We bought our Elantra new in 2018 for my wife. We had our regular maintenance intervals, where our tires got also rotated and balanced at the same time, as a free service. At delivery, the tires were filled with Nitrogen, which gave the car a little bit of a harder ride. Over time, we used just regular air, which is a bit more annoying, due to temperature change, the tires had to be adjusted, however the ride become a bit more softer. European style cornering, fast breaking, accelerating - with this tire where never any problem on dry and very seldom on wet streets. Of course, you need to drive differently on snow and ice - and if considering about the weather condition, our tires never gave us issues to worry about. At 41,681 miles our tread ware is now at the point, where dealership writes: "May require future attention". We didn't have any problems in wet driving condition, even though we have flood areas in our city since it is flat and rain water accumulates easy. I myself have 41 years of driving experience - internationally - in all kind of weather conditions, high speeds, etc. and I cannot see anything wrong with this tires for a regular driver. Every tire has it's limits and it dependence, what purpose this tire is supposed to serve. Elantra's are not really sports cars and no off-road vehicles or build for deep snow. However this tires served our purpose well and I would buy it again. I was honestly surprised about this poor reviews and don't understand them! The lower ratings are for now, since treat wear is at 48k miles - just as a clarification.

...Finally, after 25,000 miles, I think they could easily last another 25-30,000 miles before needing replacement due to tread wear...
These were OEM on my 2017 Hyundai Elantra. I have a bulge in each front tire due to recent pot hole strikes. I've never had a tire fail in this way before in 30 years of driving experience. For that reason alone I would not recommend these tires. Their performance has been mediocre, but to be honest, I'm unsure how much is the tire or the dynamics of this car. My biggest complaints are noise and lack of dry grip. On the positive side, I do think these tires translate their limits of grip to the driver quite well when in high speed turns and on wet pavement. Finally, after 25,000 miles, I think they could easily last another 25-30,000 miles before needing replacement due to tread wear. I think there are other tires that are much better rated for similar money. My next tires will be Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires. I will report on their performance once I test them out.

...They have been good tires but my biggest complaint is with hydroplaning on damp to mildly wet payment and at lower speeds. I naturally drive slower when it's wet but have had to drive slower than normal with these...
Tires came on my 2017 Elantra limited and have put over 72,000 miles on them. My car is equipped with lane keep assist so I'm not sure if this feature has helped extend the life of the tires. I have never rotated them and they are wearing relatively evenly. They have been good tires but my biggest complaint is with hydroplaning on damp to mildly wet payment and at lower speeds. I naturally drive slower when it's wet but have had to drive slower than normal with these. That's my only complaint

...Wet traction is about the worst I've ever seen on a tire with only 20,000 miles. Can't go faster than 55-60 MPH on the highway when it's raining or you'll feel as if you don't have full control of the car, it loses a lot of traction after 60 MPH when it's wet outside...
This was my first time daily driving on a set of Nexen tires, I usually stick with Michelin or Pirelli tires. I drive an average of 100 miles a day (mostly highway). Dry traction is pretty decent for these tires, was a lot better when they brand new but still pretty decent at 20,000+ miles. Cornering is pretty lame, you can feel the tires loosing traction fairly easily even when it's dry out. Wet traction is about the worst I've ever seen on a tire with only 20,000 miles. Can't go faster than 55-60 MPH on the highway when it's raining or you'll feel as if you don't have full control of the car, it loses a lot of traction after 60 MPH when it's wet outside. I wouldn't but these tires again, lesson learned.

Customers report poor winter traction with scores frequently between 0-5, citing slippery conditions and loss of control. Some note being stuck in snow despite the tire's all-season designation. While a few rate 7-8, most express dissatisfaction with sketchy ice performance and lack of reliable grip.

...LOTS of road noise & rough ride, not favorably impressed at all with that...
Review of New OEM tires on a 1 year old 2014 Kia Optima 2.4L. Wet & dry traction good, no snow or ice yet, so didn't rate them for that. LOTS of road noise & rough ride, not favorably impressed at all with that. Tread wear is low & even across the tire. Tires holding air pressure well, so easy to keep them properly aired up. Sidewall & belt splices are smooth, no wavy sidewalls. Belts are straight & tires roll smoothly without pull, bump, side to side wonder, or rolling road slap. Steering response is average, not so quick you'd over steer into a corner, nor so slow that you'd be behind where you'd need to be as a curve winds up. About right for the Kia Optima suspension tuning on our twisty mountain turns & road surfaces. Window down pavement tread noise is an average high pitched whine on our roads here in Sw Va. Rubber flashing & sprues were nicely cleaned up. There are quieter/less road noise into the cabin & smoother riding tires, with as good or better performance, for the same, or less money. Like the General Altimax HP, purchased from Tire Rack that I'm currently running on two vehicles, that I'd more likely opt for when replacing these OEM tires. SO, bottom line is, the tire seems to be well built & finished, BUT excessive road noise into the cabin, especially on textured road surfaces & rough ride, get a thumbs down from me.

...They are noisy. They roar on the highway, they roar in the city. Unless the road surface is perfectly smooth, you will hear them...
I cannot find any reviews on these tires, so I decided to give my impression. They are noisy. They roar on the highway, they roar in the city. Unless the road surface is perfectly smooth, you will hear them. Overall performance is average, but the ride is rough. Cornering is okay, but not great. If you like to feel the road surface, these tires are for you. Otherwise, don't bother.
These tires are so loud, I am plan to replace them with some Bridgestones. I would not recommend purchasing these tires, unless they are all you can afford. They are dirt cheap compared to other brands.
