The durable compound of the Baja Legend EXP is molded into a symmetric pattern with wide surface area tread blocks to handle any terrain, with deep voids to channel water and mud away. This aggressive design focuses on traction in the toughest conditions while also providing an optimized tread pitch count for a comfortable, quiet ride. The wide, muscular shoulder blocks with thick scalloped edges enhance traction in loose terrain for the confidence to move forward. Mud and stone ejectors line the grooves, guarding against stone drilling while aiding in self-cleaning by knocking mud clumps free. Deep, broad channels evacuate water from the footprint for hydroplaning resistance, while sipes and block edges aid traction in slippery conditions.
The next-gen lightweight construction and polyester dual-ply body casing of the Baja Legend EXP forms the core of its rugged durability and handling characteristics. Two wide, high-strength steel belts are reinforced with nylon cap plies to further increase handling and durability.
