The Quatrac Pro features a high-resin, high-silica tread compound molded into a variable condition-focused, asymmetric pattern. The outboard shoulder and first rib are designed for traction, handling and steering precision in dry and wet conditions, with low void ratio and large, stiff tread blocks. The inboard rib and inside shoulder are tuned for confident performance in wet and wintry conditions, with wide, circumferential grooves and lateral notches to evacuate water and slush from the contact patch, along with high-density, winter-focused zigzag sipes that help deliver the traction needed to receive the three-peak mountain snowflake symbol (3PMSF).
Internal construction of the Quatrac Pro consists of a single-ply polyester casing supporting two steel belts. A polyamide reinforcement aids in handling performance and provides high-speed durability.
Note: While non-winter tires featuring the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol may provide additional longitudinal snow traction beyond what all-season (M+S) tires not bearing the symbol can deliver, they do not match the capability of a true winter tire in all adverse weather conditions.

This is my 1st time with this tire brand. Subaru came with another well know brand that rode hard and was not good with all around traction. I spent a lot of time reading reviews and also the Tire Rack performance test information. Decided to give this tire a shot, and have not had any regrets. Dry and wet traction are excellent, while snow traction has been almost as good. Note that this tire has a tread wear rating of only 400. This means that it is a fairly soft compound that allows the tire to perform better at a slight decrease in tread life. I prefer a softer "stickier" tire to a hard hockey puck tire that has a lot less grip. I also have my tire rotated every 5,00 miles to extend their life. Absolutely no issues this tire and great service from Tire Rack. I will be buying another set of 4 shortly.

The downside of this tire it has a asymmetrical design that does pickup more rocks then wanted and because of that a little more tire noise is heard.
The VREDESTEIN QUATRAC PRO is a solid choice for cars that can not find a proper fit for the popular Michelin or Pirelli's tires. The tires when received had a date of 20/22. I live in the northeast and the wet performance has been very good along with the snow traction (no abs light on yet 🤞). The summer traction is good too and I have not experienced wheel slip from a dead stop to accelerating off with a little bit heavier foot on the gas when needed. The downside of this tire it has a asymmetrical design that does pickup more rocks then wanted and because of that a little more tire noise is heard.

This tire has performed very well. They are quiet and have a smooth, comfortable ride. They corner exceptionally. They also handle well in light snow; I have other snow tires for the winter and have not used these on ice or in deep snow. I notice they hydroplane a little in deep puddles. I can feel the force of the water on the vehicle (slowing down a little) but have never lost control. They show no wear after 10000 miles. I will consider purchasing them again, however I think they will last long enough that by the time I need new tires the market will have new possibilities, so I'll have to look at options then. Overall I am very pleased and recommend them as an all-season tire.
