The Quatrac Pro is Vredestein's Grand Touring All-Season tire developed for the drivers of sedans, coupes, crossovers and SUVs who want a refined tire that combines luxurious comfort with high-performance grip and handling in dry and wet conditions, plus premium light snow traction. The Quatrac Pro meets the industry's severe snow service requirements for the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol and, as an all-weather tire, is designed to be a one-tire solution for drivers in environments that experience all four seasons, but don't receive sufficient snowfall to require a dedicated winter tire.

The Quatrac Pro features a high-resin, high-silica tread compound molded into a variable condition-focused, asymmetric pattern. The outboard shoulder and first rib are designed for traction, handling and steering precision in dry and wet conditions, with low void ratio and large, stiff tread blocks. The inboard rib and inside shoulder are tuned for confident performance in wet and wintry conditions, with wide, circumferential grooves and lateral notches to evacuate water and slush from the contact patch, along with high-density, winter-focused zigzag sipes that help deliver the traction needed to receive the three-peak mountain snowflake symbol (3PMSF).

Internal construction of the Quatrac Pro consists of a single-ply polyester casing supporting two steel belts. A polyamide reinforcement aids in handling performance and provides high-speed durability.

Note: While non-winter tires featuring the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol may provide additional longitudinal snow traction beyond what all-season (M+S) tires not bearing the symbol can deliver, they do not match the capability of a true winter tire in all adverse weather conditions.

...Besides the ride quality, the wet weather traction is great with no hydroplaning even in a downpour...

Got this tire to replace the factory performance Michelins. These tires are much softer and quieter, which is the driving experience I wanted. Besides the ride quality, the wet weather traction is great with no hyroplaning even in a downpour.

As another reviewer noted, when these tires wear, chunks of rubber come off at the edges. I found that the recommended tire pressures for my vehicle are too low for these tires. 32 front, 35 rear. The edges wore much quicker than the center. As a result, I'm running the new tires at 2lbs. higher air pressure. My tires are staggered, so I can't rotate them front to back, and the chunking was on the front tires. The rears wore quite well, though again, more so on the edges than the center, so I'll be running 2lb. higher pressure there too.

In any event, I'm happy replacing them every 25k or so for the ride quality. As it turned out, they are some of the lesser priced tires in my size range, so replacing them isn't that big a deal.

Would recommend them again.

Shout out to Tire Rack. This is my second set from them and both have been a great experience.

I have not tested these tires with dry offroad conditions yet but so far I am super pleased with how they cut through water...

I did a lot of research to find a tire that could keep up with everything that Utah has to offer. Specifically, this year, with snow breaking records. I also travel to CA and wanted something quiet on the highway for longer trips. I have not tested these tires with dry offroad conditions yet but so far I am super pleased with how they cut through water, handle the snow, and perform in dry conditions. Definitely will buy me another set.

Vredestein is better than those dedicated winter tires, as expected, as it is a "V" rated, & All Season, M+S rated, With The extra 3Peaks rating. I especially recommend it for drivers, who do not change to winter tires yearly..... I plan to buy , again this..

These tires, coupled with the all wheel drive of my car, have made it so that I have to work to get stuck in snow, They grip well and plow through the snow like it isn't even there. I am most impressed by how well they perform on wet roads. It feels like you are on dry pavement. My only complaint is the slight road noise they produce but it isn't a major issue.

Without a doubt, the best performing tires I have ever purchased. Most impressively, the 2016 Nissan Maxima eliminated almost all torque steer, these tires eliminated what little there still was. I attribute the exceptional dry road taction for this increased performance. The tire does not care if the road is dry or wet, it drives like the car is on rails. Don't know if I will ever buy a different tire brand again.

I live in Reeds Spring, Missouri, where we have a lot of curvie country road and a lot of rain. The Vredestein have been an amazing tire. They are quite, smooth and very comfortable. I am kind of an aggressive driver at times, especially on curves. These tires are excellent when hugging the curves, weather wet or dry. They definitely are an impressive tire and a quality tire for the money. I would absolutely recommend buying these tires. Love them!!!!!!!!!

...The Pro carried over everything that I love from the 5, namely great snow and wet weather traction along with surprisingly good dry traction and handling from a heavily siped tire with the Severe Snow Service rating...

This is my second set of Vredestein Quatrac tires, the first were the "5" and these are the "Pro" model. The Pro carried over everything that I love from the 5, namely great snow and wet weather traction along with surprisingly good dry traction and handling from a heavily siped tire with the Severe Snow Service rating. They really do give you confidence to tackle poor weather conditions, especially in an appropriate vehicle (the "Pro" are on an AWD RAV4 and the "5" were on a Subaru). Unfortunately, they also carried over my least favored quality, which is mediocre treadwear. I am currently at 28,000 miles on these and am down to 5/32 tread, equating to about 42,000 miles at their service limit. I probably should have had more realistic expectations for a tire with a 400 treadwear rating, but with a 50K mile warranty from Vredestein, I would have expected them to at least make that. And yes, they have been rotated every 5K miles and show 5/32" across all four tires. Since the selection of 3PMSF tires is much better now than even a couple of years ago, I will probably try something different when it comes time to replace these...

Tires ride smooth very low tire noise. Tire is rated a 3 peak for snow but didn’t experience snow this year in Md. Handles well in rain and wet. Steering response on dry is excellent for a non UHP tire. This is strictly a touring tire made for comfort. I purchased due to 3 peak rating along with comfort. Will recommend and buy again.

...Good wet/dry performance, predictable steering and oh so quiet. Now, however, these tires have gotten so horribly loud that it makes highway driving a sonic punishment...

Purchased these Quatrac Pro tires from Tire Rack in 2020. I don't drive a lot, so I've only put 22,600 miles on them. At first, I loved these tires. A lot! Good wet/dry performance, predictable steering and oh so quiet.

Now, however, these tires have gotten so horribly loud that it makes highway driving a sonic punishment.

There's plenty of treadlife left, but I can't stand it anymore. They've got to go. I'd like to consider another set of Vredestein's, the reviews are still overwhelmingly positive, but I can't get past my current experience.

I've never had a set of tires that have reached their treadwear warranty... until now. Not only have these Vredesteins reached their warranty, but they have surpassed it. 40k warranty and I've driven 43,000 on them and counting. I just had the tread measured recently. They're down to 4's, so I still got some time before I need new ones. All told I'll probably get 45,000 miles on these. Never thought this was possible with tires.

...I've driven 31K miles since I purchased them and have roughly 7-8/32" of tread remaining still and they're wearing evenly...

Let me start by saying I have many years of experience in the tire industry. My 100 miles-a-day commute is 90% highway between southeast Wisconsin and northern Illinois. I drive in weather varying from sunny, 100 degree days, to heavy snow and ice. Sometimes I experience all in one day!
I was hesitant initially because Vredestein isn’t a well known tire manufacturer. I’ve typically purchased all season tires from larger brand name manufacturers for my vehicles in the past. I’ve had experience with Vredestein previously, but that was for dedicated snow tire service. They were great in snow and ice as designed but didn’t last due to their extremely soft compound as most snow tires do.
The factory speed rated Bridgestone tires had a soft tread compound and were designed for quieter all season performance. They didn’t last more than 40K miles and were marginal at best. After those, I went through 2 sets of Goodyear Eagle F1 All Seasons that delivered a confident and ultra quiet ride, but fell short in wet traction and were terrible in light snow. After a lot of research, I decided to turn away from the big tire manufacturers and try something new. I purchased the Vredestein Quatrac Pros and have been completely satisfied with them. They’re categorized as a sport touring tire whereas the Goodyears are an ultra high performance tire. With that, I get a little softer ride which is good for my application. The Vredesteins are a little softer in cornering but negligible in everyday driving. But the snow traction is phenomenal. I can confidently drive in light and deep snow and have complete control of the vehicle which was absent from the previous tires I had. I will say these tires are almost as good as cheaper dedicated snow tires in light and heavy snow. I’ve driven almost 31K miles since I purchased them and have roughly 7-8/32” of tread remaining still and they’re wearing evenly. I will definitely purchase them again for this vehicle and others if available.
