...Great in the rain as well. Stable, unless in hitting a massive puddle never hydroplaned on standing water.
Absolutely amazing tires. In the dry miata is super stable. On/off ramps will make you giggle with how much grip get. Bit noisey but being a miata not much to dampen the sound. Great in the rain as well. Stable, unless in hitting a massive puddle never hydroplaned on standing water.

These tires are an incredible upgrade from the summer tires (A/S technically but performed terrible on any wet surface) I had previously. Being able to maintain traction from a stop on a wet surface, as well as good cornering and hydroplaning stability is a must-have for driving in WA regardless of the time of year. These tires perform exactly as needed for the conditions. Dry surface performance is equally thrilling.

...Very good turn-in and steering feel, predictable near the limits. These tires offer excellent dry traction and are more playful than a 200 tw tire...
I've had all summer to experience these tires and love driving them at 9/10ths. Road noise is acceptable even after a many miles and tread wear has been good considering driving style and alignment. Very good turn-in and steering feel, predictable near the limits. These tires offer excellent dry traction and are more playful than a 200 tw tire might be. Since I don't have ABS I prefer not to drive too much in the rain but I have confidence if I need to drive in wet weather. Took the Miata to Deals Gap this summer and had a few others comment on how well they like these tires considering the low price. Can't comment on track or autocross use but I definitely recommend for stock hp car driven on the back roads of southern Ohio.

...On track, the tires are better than I expected and very predictable. When traction breaks, the tires simply slide, with no tendency to 'snap' unexpectedly.
The Miata came with 17-inch wheels, so until I replace them with 15-inch wheels, I got these Yokohama tires to use for street and some track driving. At 300 TW, they are not as sticky as a 200 TW obviously, but I am quite happy with the tire's overall performance. On track, the tires are better than I expected and very predictable. When traction breaks, the tires simply slide, with no tendency to 'snap' unexpectedly.
The wet traction is excellent, as I discovered when a major thunderstorm dumped a lot of water on the highway. On public roads, tire noise is insignificant even with the top down, and no complaints with the ride. The wear rate suggests that I won't get more than 2 seasons out of them, but as the car is tracked, that has to be factored into the tread life.

Most customers rate comfort highly with scores 8-10, praising smooth ride quality and low noise levels. High marks in both categories highlight excellent refinement for summer driving.

...Quiet, comfortable and very good grip/handling...
First, this is a great all around Summer tire. Quiet, comfortable and very good grip/ handling. It’s great for a light car and size availability trends toward smaller sizes. It’s not a 200 tw racing tire, it’s not an all season tire. It does do Summer fun car very well.

Not sure if my thoughts count, as I typically take a nice "Sunday cruise" in my '90 Miata. It is driven mostly year-round but only occasionally and ONLY on beautiful days; never rain or snow! I'm a casual driver (middle aged) with some spirited corners and/or acceleration, and mostly on curvy, country roads. These Yoko Flevas replaced my older Yoko Paradas. I really like these. They are very comfortable and quiet, yet grippy, and I believe should last a long time like the Paradas.

...Less outright stick and response, but significant gains in comfort and durability...
Overall, just a great tire choice for I think most drivers. Compared to the previous tires I used (Toyo Proxes R1R), these tires still give me about 90% of the performance in the dry, but with significantly more treadwear. To me, that is worthy of the trade off. Less outright stick and response, but significant gains in comfort and durability. In the wet, it's no contest the Yokohama's are significantly better than the Toyo's. Unless you are looking for the absolute limits, the Yokohama's are a an extremely worthy choice to consider.

Treadwear earns mostly 9s and 10s, with customers praising durability in summer conditions. A few lower scores (0-6) note concerns, but overall longevity aligns well with ultra-high performance expectations.

...The threadwear rating is a little higher than what I usually look for but they handle very well...
Great tire! The threadwear rating is a little higher than what I usually look (I prioritize grip over longevity) for but they handle very well. I pushed them pretty hard on the Tail of the Dragon and other fun mountain roads and was impressed. As good as the P6000 and PZeros I have on my other cars. Excellent price too.

4/32 left at almost 20k miles. Even wear all around. Pretty good in all conditions until about 40 degrees. Good for the price. Sidewalls could be a bit stiffer, but handles well, but not 200tw autocross tires.

...Longevity and strength-wise, they survived a fairly brutal 2000-mile round trip across some of the worst roads for lowered cars in the country (read:the deep south) with absolutely zero complaint, despite frequent rubbing and scrubbing over practically every pothole and gap along the way, and are still wearing evenly (albeit with some camber wear considering my setup) and appear to have considerable life left...
These tires are the "daily drivers" for my Miata, mounted on a set of heavy zero offset wheels - I bought these primarily as a streetable, good looking, reasonably high-performing tire knowing this setup is by no means "optimal" for performance driving (I have a set of Falken RT660s on lightweight wheels for that.) With that said, these tires are absolutely stellar for how I use them. They grip fantastically well for a 300 treadwear tire, are surprisingly comfortable and quiet at highway speeds, and do amazingly well on a lightweight like the Miata in the rain, so long as you're not a total lead foot or hunting ditches. Granted, they're not hyper-nimble, but they're also not twitchy like some other tires I've used on this car in the past, and are very well-matched to stock-ish Miata power levels - they'll let you spin them or get a little sideways if you want, but step right back in line when it's time to be serious. Longevity and strength-wise, they survived a fairly brutal 2000-mile round trip across some of the worst roads for lowered cars in the country (read:the deep south) with absolutely zero complaint, despite frequent rubbing and scrubbing over practically every pothole and gap along the way, and are still wearing evenly (albeit with some camber wear considering my setup) and appear to have considerable life left. I recommend these whenever and wherever I can to people hunting a fun, yet functional tire choice.
