Tires are designed specifically for different vehicles and wheel sizes. Tell us about your vehicle or the specific size you want so we can help find the right tires for you.

The iceGUARD G075 is Yokohama's Light Truck/SUV Studless Ice & Snow winter tire developed for the drivers of crossovers, SUVs, Jeeps and light trucks who want to maximize their traction in challenging winter driving conditions. Featuring Yokohama's advanced winter tire technology, iceGUARD G075 tires are designed to perform at their best in cold temperatures on dry, wet, slushy, snow-covered and icy roads.

Yokohama BluEarth branding is used to identify an ecologically focused series of tires designed to deliver environmentally, human- and socially friendly solutions for drivers and their vehicles. iceGuard G075 tires featuring BluEarth branding are identified as such on their "Sizes" and "Specs" pages.

The specialized winter compound of iceGUARD G075 tires is molded into a directional pattern with a wide, center rib designed to increase contact with the road, or with the ice and hard-packed snow. The high density compound increases tread block stability and provides more even contact with the road for enhanced traction and longevity. Zig zag circumferential grooves help evacuate water from the contact patch while also creating edges for grip in snow and on ice, and 3D triple sipes combined with micro diagonal sipes further improve traction in slippery conditions.

The tire's internal structure features twin steel belts on top of a two-ply polyester cord casing to blend durability and ride comfort. A nylon reinforcement ply helps to enhance handling and provides high-speed capability.

The iceGUARD G075 Light Truck/SUV Studless Ice & Snow tire meets the industry's severe snow service requirements and is branded with the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.

Install Yokohama iceGUARD G075 tires in sets of four only.

Due to the traction capabilities of iceGUARD G075 tires, Yokohama recommends using them only in sets of four to provide the best handling characteristics and tire performance.

*Specific sizes featuring BluEarth technology are identified as such on the sizes tab, as well as on the tire's Specs tab.

...The wet traction is wonderful and I cannot even tell it is raining outside. Other tires with deeper tread have hydroplaned on me these have not even in severe gully washers driving 70 mph down the interstate...

I bought these tires with an upgrade from 17 to 20 inch wheels. The orignal goodyears were LOUD. They were a little softer ride, probably due the the sixe of the tire, but LOUD. The yokohoma spec-X are extremely quiet and the handling is excellent. They help my big 7000 pound vehicle feel like a smaller sport SUV. The wet traction is wonderful and I cannot even tell it is raining outside. Other tires with deeper tread have hydroplaned on me these have not even in severe gully washers driving 70 mph down the interstate. I buy a lot of tires and change vehicles regularly and these would have to be some of the best tires I have ever owned. Would recommend highly.

...Wet traction is great and I have had no issues so far this year with the snow and ice. I can nail it from a dead stop in the rain and it just hooks and goes...

Bought these to replace the Goodyears that came stock on my SS. I actually bought a winter wheel and tire set up as the stock tires were so bad. This is the first winter on the Yokohama's and I have decided to sell the winter wheels as the new tires are awesome in all weather conditions. Wet traction is great and I have had no issues so far this year with the snow and ice. I can nail it from a dead stop in the rain and it just hooks and goes. If I did this with the RSA's they would be spinning and the traction control would step in. I am very happy with the performance of the X's compared to the RSA's. You will not be dissapointed if you choose this tire. My RSA's were done at 36,000 miles and I now have just under 20,000 on the X's and they look brand new.

...They are great in snow - no problems at all negotiating the messy roads or negotiating the snow bank at the end of my driveway...

I had these tires put on my Volvo 3 weeks ago, just as our first snowstorm of the season hit. They are great in snow - no problems at all negotiating the messy roads or the snow bank at the end of my driveway. Have also been surprised and impressed at the lack of road noise compared to the Michelin OEMs that were on the car before. Dry traction has also been good. Overall, highly rated for the Volvo XC90!

...If and when I spin em for fun it's always in a straight line now with no fishtailing both in dry and wet conditions. With a torque monster of a hemi motor under the hood I am most concerned about sliding around when lead footing around town. These tires keep me planted!...

I've carefully read all of the reviews on this specific tire for the past year and am glad that the tire rack description changed. They've been a solid performer for the 300s, Chargers, and Magnums and the new description reflects just that. I've only had them on for roughly 300 miles now but I'm completely in love with them! If and when I spin em for fun it's always in a straight line now with no fishtailing both in dry and wet conditions. With a torque monster of a hemi motor under the hood I am most concerned about sliding around when lead footing around town. These tires keep me planted! They're great on heavy lead sleds!

...Dry traction is very good - at least comparable to the Goodyear RSA's...

Purchased these tires to replace OEM Goodyear RSAs, which were badly flatspotted at 20k miles causing an annoying vibration at highway speeds. Repeated attempts at balancing and road force yielded no positive results. Plus I drive this vehicle year-round so I needed an all-season tire. My choice was between the Parada Spec-X and the Michelin Latitude Tour HP. I use Michelins on most of my vehicles and love them, but in this case (based on all of the positive feedback and the huge price difference) I opted to try the Yoko's. This was the first set of Yokohamas I've ever purchased and so far I could barely be more pleased.

Since I purchased these tires for my TBSS I've had them in just about every weather condition imaginable. Dry traction is very good - at least comparable to the Goodyear RSA's they replaced. Wet traction is excellent. We've had some of the worst rain and flooding here in the PNW that I've seen in years and these tires have handled it beautifully. An inch of standing water on the highway at 75mph is a non-issue. I've had them in light snow and earlier this week in about 4-5 inches of very wet, slushy snow. In both cases they've done well. Over the Thanksgiving holiday we got hit with 6-8 inches of snow and temps in the teens. These tires plus the AWD handled the deeper snow admirably. The resulting compact snow and ice was about the only area where these tires didn't excel. They did okay under these conditions, but didn't instill a high degree of confidence. I've since purchased a set of Blizzaks for future use in icy conditions.

Overall these are possibly the best all-around tires I've ever owned. I don't feel I've given up anything in performance to the RSAs that I replaced and these ride so much better and have all-season capability.

For those with a TBSS like me, I want to mention that going with the 275/45/20 on the stock wheels is not a problem. No bulging or other issues vs the stock 255/50/20's.

...Traction on dry is great with the quietest and smoothest ride of the 4 other brands they replaced...

I would definitely recommend this tire. I do extensive research before buying tires for any of my vehicles and I purchased these because of the great reviews here. These are by far the best tires I've ever tried on my explorer. Traction on dry is great with the quietest and smoothest ride of the 4 other brands they replaced. Traction on wet is superior! I've never felt so confident driving in heavy downpours! The tire size I previously used on the other brands was 275/45-20 and did switch to this tire with the size 255/50-20 so the extra height might be part of the smoother ride but it was such an improvment! At 48,000 miles they still perform great but they do need to be replaced now and I will be buying another set of these.

...Tires are quieter ( much less road noise) than the Michelin Latitude Sport (2015 Q5) and the Dunlop Dueler H/P that were OEM on my 2011 Q5...

Just purchased a new set for my 2015 Q5 TDI. My first set was on my 2011 Q5 3.2 and they had 13,200 miles (21,000 km) when I traded the vehicle in. The tread depth was only down 2/32's (from 11/32 to 9/32) which I believe is very good wear (likely 40,000+ miles by 5/32 tread depth). My new Q came with Michelin Latitude Sport (summer only) and while I use dedicated winters, I find these Prada's to be an excellent replacement tire that is better suited for my Feb drive to Florida and the often iffy weather through the Poconos. I find the steering/road feel to be very precise and responsive. I also noticed a bump in fuel economy which was a pleasant surprise. Tires are quieter (much less road noise) than the Michelin Latitude Sport (2015 Q5) and the Dunlop Dueler H/P that were OEM on my 2011 Q5. Highly recommend, especially when one considers the price difference to other comparable tires (e.g. Conti DWS).

...They are quiet, smooth, and so far the treadwear is looking quite good...

After two sets of Goodyears I was ready for some quiet, smooth tires and the Yokohamas

filled the bill. I work on the service drive at a Chrysler, Dodge dealership and decided

on the Yokohamas from a couple of my customers recommendations. They are quiet, smooth, and so far the treadwear is looking quite good. I am very satisfied with these tires and will buy again when the time comes. After such good performance from these tires I purchased a set of Yokohamas for my wifes Pontiac G6 and she loves them. They are not the Paradas but are a very good tire, an added bonus to these tires is they look good on the vehicles. I can highly recommend Yokohama tires.

...With 4200 miles driven tread depth is at 9 1/2 32nds. That should figure out to about 40K tread life which is impressive for such an aggressive and sticky tire...

This is a follow up of my review November of 2006. With 4200 miles driven tread depth is at 9 1/2 32nds. That should figure out to about 40K tread life which is impressive for such an agressive and sticky tire. Acceleration and handling in wet weather is exeptional. Deep puddles do not impede these tires and I have not experienced any aquaplaning. Aggressive back roading driving does not even give me a hint of traction loss or the tendency to wander. From what I have determined it is the only V rated truck tire on the market and if you want the most for your money you cannot go wrong with these tires. I would highly recommend them to anyone who would like to put the "sport" back in their truck.
