High quality tire storage system. Easy to install and incredibly useful (for me). I'm thinking of buying another one soon.

Very sturdy storage rack. Well designed and the shipping packaging is the best that I have ever seen. It was wrapped up like a fine piece of art to be shipped!

The instructions are well done, but the only issue is the lag screws that are provides are not robust enough. I read that another customer had one break and I did as well. That meant that I had to spend a good bit of time digging out the broken screw, going to Home Depot to get another/better lag screw, and then proceeding to install the storage rack. The lag screw that I bought as a replacement was an 11mm versus the ones supplied are 10mm. Doesn't sound like much of a difference, but it is. And I am pretty sure that the one I bought is not a cheap Chinese sourced screw. If this item would have come with quality 11 mm lag screws, it would would have been absolutely perfect.

Oh, and yes, I did follow all instructions and predrill the holes for the lag screws. And I did not over tighten the screws. This was clearly an issue with the quality of the provided lag screw itself.

Lag bolts to wall should be larger. Provided lags are too small and soft.

This is a really solid product! I love the extensibility of the rack and the strength of it is incredible. Really well designed.

Good quality tire rack. Unfortunately, mine was missing a screw for one of the tubes, however local hardware store had the identical screw.

Beautiful looking tirerack. Black powdercoat. Very nice quality. Heavy duty and sturdy. It can hold up to 400 lbs -- don't have any reason to doubt it. Well-packaged: all components were wrapped in heavy felt and the box itself was double-boxed.

Directions were easy. I'm not known to be handy but was able to install it almost all by myself -- needed second pair of hands occasionally. The holes in the frame are 16 inches apart as per standard stud spacing since you will have to sink the lag bolts into studs. As other reviewers have suggested, I would NOT use the lag bolts that come with the kit. One of the lag bolts broke during the installation so I got better quality ones from the local hardware store.

Also, because I positioned my tirerack near the ceiling, that means I have to stand on a ladder to hoist tire-wheel combos each weighing 60 or 70 lbs. I don't think that that's something everyone can do. I can do it because I'm reasonably strong but I can see others struggling with that. So be mindful of how high you're gonna have to lift your tires and wheels when storing them. Also, I'm only planning to switch between summer and winter tires, so I only have to switch tires on the rack twice a year.

At one point, I thought the kit failed to include the screws necessary for securing the rods and contacted the Tirerack team. When the replacement parts arrived, I realized I had overlooked the fact that the screws were already inserted into the rods. My bad. You will have to obviously remove the screws prior to securing the rods to the tirerack.

Overall, very happy with the product and very happy with the Tirerack team. I realize there are other products that do the same thing for a little less money. But I'm willing to spend a little extra for better quality stuff. Plus the width of the tirerack is easily adjustable. I made mine a full 56 inches so as to allow a little gap between the wheels to prevent them from scuffing each other.
