I needed to store my summer wheels (17" Enkei RPF1's in gunmetal) for the winter, so I went with the Tire Rack tire duffels and tire felts. I've never really stored wheels/tires for winter, but this time since getting new wheels I wanted to store them properly. I cleaned the wheels put the duffels on the then the felts, and put wheels in the attic, the process took less then 10 minutes. I may not have the most expensive wheels but I still wanted the protection. I would recommend this combo for anyone especially the folks with more expensive wheels if they need to store wheels for the winter or just in general.
These are tire bags for off-season tire storage. Durable and strong. Would buy again. There's folklore out that that tires ought to stored in air tight, UV resistent containers. Also folklore that tires when stored ought to be rotated. Would be nice to up the design for the first, and maybe provide customers some reminder system for the second.
