An enhanced tread design uses full-depth 3D sipes providing confidence in winter conditions.
The internal structure is comprised of a polyester casing mated to two steel belts for durability, and a nylon reinforcement that further increases high speed stability.

I have always been told that they are not any good in wet conditions and I have not personally had the same experience. They are not the best when driving into standing water at higher rate speeds, but what tires are good in that scenario. Wet conditions however, cornering is fine, and all the traction needed...
I absolutely love these tires, after dealing with a ton of noise from the factory mud tires I had to make a change. Bit the bullet and decided to step away from the classic large lugged look of mud tires and went with these KO2's. They are so beautifully quiet, ride incredibly smooth on road and provide all the performance and confidence I need off road. In the snow they almost grip to well and make it hard to play like a 16 year old kid when I find myself alone in an empty parking lot. I have always been told that they are not any good in wet conditions and I have not personally had the same experience. They are not the best when driving into standing water at higher rate speeds, but what tires are good in that scenario. Wet conditions however, cornering is fine, and all the traction needed. All and all I absolutely love these tires. The hype surrounding these tires is real, they are worth every penny. I would recommend to anyone I know and they will be the only tires I will use going forward on my truck.

Bought Truck with Toyo's that looked great and ride was very noisy at higher speeds(70MPH+). Got these as a new set and immediately felt the smoothness of the ride. I live in the Sierra Nevada mountains and so far the snow traction and Ice traction has been very good. I read a review that said these tires slid like you were on an "Ice Rink"? Not true in my case with 2013 Ram 1500. They are solid tires that ride great so far. I've been in two snow storms and weeks of icy conditions so far. They are really good. Smooth ride may change as they wear but we will see. Just giving an honest assessment for the time I've had the tires. Would recommend to people looking for a solid AT tire. Cheers!!

Outstanding snow and wet weather traction. handles Rocky Mountain winter excellently. The quietest ride I have had in the Jeep since we purchased it. Handling is good and responsive. Have taken the tires off road on muddy, loose, rocky, and soft terrain, they handled all of these without issues. I have been a Pirelli tire person for years, but these have completely changed my perspective. I won't put anything other than these tires on anything I plan to take off road or drive in the snow.

...But when on dry pavement I can take a turn as hard as I dare and they stick like glue. Amazing!...
My route takes me over 25,000 miles per year of rock based road where I need to average 30mph to meet my deadline. I basically rally drive my car six days a week. I’ve had 7 sets of this exact tire on three different vehicles. These are a must have if your job depends on driving rough terrain. I’ve never had a tire perform as well and last as long as these do. On paved roads when it’s raining hard or where there is standing water they are not quite as grippy as I would like, but they are acceptable. But when the pavement is dry I can take a turn as hard as I dare and they stick like glue. Amazing! Highly recommended!

...Experience during speeds of 70 to 85 mph on dry highway is very stable - no issues with vibration or drift...
I purchased these tires for a brand new Tacoma 4x4 Limited, included the factory lift - also paired the tires and lift with 17" TRD Wheels. Reason for the purchase was strictly for appearance - looking to create a broader / sportier stance on the Limited model. The tires in combination with the TRD Wheels look great!! As it relates to performance; - They are obviously a bit stiffer and nosier than the standard highway tires supplied on Tacoma. But, I want to stress the difference is minimal. - I have only driven with tires on city and highway roads. Very pleased with in both cases. - No experience with the tires off-road. - Experience on a 200 mile highway trip during very heavy rain was super positive (speeds ranging between 60 and 75 MPH). No hydroplaning and a very stable feel to the drive. - Experience during speeds of 70 to 85 mph on dry highway is very stable - no issues with vibration or drift.
Would most defiantly recommend these tires for highway and city driving.

...Had to get used to the truck stopping quicker compared to the original Wranglers on my Tacoma...
They are great for mostly on road/weekly off road. Quiet on the highway for this type of tread. Had to get used to the truck stopping quicker compared to the original Wranglers on my Tacoma. Lost about 1 mpg. Gained better traction on sand and dirt roads.

A few lower noise ratings note occasional harshness, but overall performance is outstanding for off-road use.

...From the other shoes (Firestone) to the KO2's is day and night. The ride is softer, cornering is comfortable, noise is almost nonexistent, traction is amazing...
A -------- of a set of tires. I been committed to Michelin tires for2 decades. I bought a 2017 Dodge Ram 3500 crew cab in June of 2022. Winter set in where I live and the current shoes were not up to par., I cannot not remember what or where I got turned onto the BF Goodrich KO2"s. I'm glad I got onto the Tire Rack website and did my research and read the reviews. If you have a full-size truck, drive highway and country roads, I highly recommend these tires. From the other shoes (Firestone) to the KO2's is day and night. The ride is softer, cornering is comfortable, noise is almost nonexistent, traction is amazing. I will definitely be buying these same tires again.

...Off road, heavy rain, up to 3ft of snow, beach and highway all produce a good grip and smooth ride as I have never been stuck with these.
2nd Round of these tires for my Jeep JK and I am sold. As long as they perform like the last 4 did I will keep this particular tire for the life of my vehicle. Off road, heavy rain, up to 3ft of snow, beach and highway all produce a good grip and smooth ride as I have never been stuck with these.

These have been the best set of tires I have owned. I have already put over 60k miles on them and the tread just got measured last week with 15-20% tread left. I have rotated the tires about 4-5 times ranging from 5-10k mile intervals. I have checked my alignment once a year with no adjustment needed which I presume helped with tire life. 80% of the miles is highway with no noticeable road noise.

Great tires, this is my second truck I've ran BFG KO2s on and I couldn't ask for a better mix of looks, performance and reliability. Best part of these is probably the tread wear, it is so minimal they seem to last forever. I'll definitely be rolling with these for a while and I will purchase again when it's time to get a new set.

...Throughout my 60000 miles with the k02. They still feel like brand new... I still have 3/8 inch left...
The k02 tires according to some “experts” say these tires are “too much”, “not compatible “ for the Tacoma I drive. That is bull. Throughout my 60000 miles with the k02. They still feel like brand new. No noticeable noise. Handle great on and off road and have never required air (except when I picked up a nail. I purchased a second set which I plan to install this summer if and when my tread gets bare. I still have 3/8 inch left. Amazing tires.
