The Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 is Goodyear's Max Performance Summer tire developed for the drivers of sports cars, sports coupes, muscle cars and performance sedans. Featuring an advanced construction designed to work in conjunction with high-performance suspension systems, the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 offers precise steering and feel in warm dry and wet conditions. Goodyear's warranty states that "ultra high-performance summer tires are not recommended for winter use, and tread or shoulder cracking on those tires resulting from winter use will not be covered under our warranty," so like all summer tires, the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 is not intended to be stored, serviced or driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.
The Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 features a summer-only tread compound designed to provide superior traction through enhanced road adhesion. This compound is molded into an asymmetric tread design featuring a solid center rib for responsive steering and solid on-center feel. The tire's outer shoulder is focused on achieving maximum dry traction through turns and the inner section and four wide-circumferential grooves improve wet-weather grip and hydroplaning resistance.
The internal structure of the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 includes a body of polyester cord supporting twin steel belts reinforced with spirally wrapped polyamide to enhance tread stability and high-speed capability.
Limited sizes of the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 are available with Goodyear's SoundComfort technology, which involves the manufacturer adhering a layer of sound-absorbing foam to the inner liner of the tire to reduce cabin noise in the vehicle. These sizes are identified on the Specs page and in the search results.

...Experience on a 200 mile highway trip during very heavy rain was super positive (speeds ranging between 60 and 75 MPH). No hydroplaning and a very stable feel to the drive...
I purchased these tires for a brand new Tacoma 4x4 Limited, included the factory lift - also paired the tires and lift with 17" TRD Wheels. Reason for the purchase was strictly for appearance - looking to create a broader / sportier stance on the Limited model. The tires in combination with the TRD Wheels look great!! As it relates to performance; - They are obviously a bit stiffer and nosier than the standard highway tires supplied on Tacoma. But, I want to stress the difference is minimal. - I have only driven with tires on city and highway roads. Very pleased with in both cases. - No experience with the tires off-road. - Experience on a 200 mile highway trip during very heavy rain was super positive (speeds ranging between 60 and 75 MPH). No hydroplaning and a very stable feel to the drive. - Experience during speeds of 70 to 85 mph on dry highway is very stable - no issues with vibration or drift.
Would most defiantly recommend these tires for highway and city driving.

...On paved roads when it's raining hard or where there is standing water they are not quite as grippy as I would like, but they are acceptable...
My route takes me over 25,000 miles per year of rock based road where I need to average 30mph to meet my deadline. I basically rally drive my car six days a week. I’ve had 7 sets of this exact tire on three different vehicles. These are a must have if your job depends on driving rough terrain. I’ve never had a tire perform as well and last as long as these do. On paved roads when it’s raining hard or where there is standing water they are not quite as grippy as I would like, but they are acceptable. But when the pavement is dry I can take a turn as hard as I dare and they stick like glue. Amazing! Highly recommended!

...Where these KO2s have excelled is snow. Not the typical inches deep snow, but the dusting to an inch snow. With the KM2s, I always had to shift to 4x4, as they would loose traction easily. Same snowy roads this past year, KO2s were excellent. Did not need to use 4x4 in the same exact places as previously used, saving my driveshafts from unnecessary wear in not ideal 4x4 conditions...
In a year, only 4,000 miles. Went from two (previous) sets of KM2s to the KO2s. I loved the KM2s, most of the time. Where these KO2s have excelled is snow. Not the typical inches deep snow, but the dusting to an inch snow. With the KM2s, I always had to shift to 4x4, as they would loose traction easily. Same snowy roads this past year, KO2s were excellent. Did not need to use 4x4 in the same exact places as previously used, saving my driveshafts from unnecessary wear in not ideal 4x4 conditions. Noise level...amazingly better, I know, not as agressive tires, but there is no carpet in my JK, only Line-X. The KO2 feel like driving on a cloud of air on the street. Makes the ride so much more manageable over the 96,000 miles of KM2s I had already completed.

Good tread wear, they were slipping on ice, packed snow when I had them inflated to recommended 65psi. I dropped them to 36psi and they are much better. They cut through deep snow very well.

Decent tire. Haven’t had them long enough to know how great they are but they seem good on snow/ice and seem to have good traction most places. Also driving a 4wd vehicle so that might help. I am disappointed in them being 3/4” shorter than what it stated they are online. Supposed to be 34.5” and they’re 33.75”. Oh well.

...The loads of traction they have out weighs the road noise for me...
Great tires! I would definitely recommend them if you don't mind some road noise. Pretty noticable between 30-50 mph. The noise was a bit more then I expected but not terrible for how aggressive the tread design is. The loads of traction they have out weighs the road noise for me.They were rough riding at first but have since improved after a few hundred miles. All in all I am very happy with them

Wow from the instant I first started driving with these tires the handling and comfort were so much better then ALL my previous tires ( original 255’s, Upgraded 35s”, then 37s”) All previous tires were noisy especially the Nitto 37 inch. Wow ther tires are quiet. They handle exceptionally on curvy wet highways like route 17 in Santa Cruz Mountains of CA. Surprised at how much better off road these tires handle then my 37’s. My jeep looks amazing especially with the added width of these tires 13.5 inch look proper. The look, the comfort, the quiet ride. Wow my Jeep drives better then when it was brand new. I highly recommend these tires. For an highway/off-road experience these tires are the best compromise I could find.. I finally found my tire! When 40 inch tires seem to big.. the BFGoodrich ALL-TERRAIN T/A KO2 are Just Right! Highly recommend if you can find them.

...From the other shoes (Firestone) to the KO2's is day and night. The ride is softer, cornering is comfortable, noise is almost nonexistent, traction is amazing...
A -------- of a set of tires. I been committed to Michelin tires for2 decades. I bought a 2017 Dodge Ram 3500 crew cab in June of 2022. Winter set in where I live and the current shoes were not up to par., I cannot not remember what or where I got turned onto the BF Goodrich KO2"s. I'm glad I got onto the Tire Rack website and did my research and read the reviews. If you have a full-size truck, drive highway and country roads, I highly recommend these tires. From the other shoes (Firestone) to the KO2's is day and night. The ride is softer, cornering is comfortable, noise is almost nonexistent, traction is amazing. I will definitely be buying these same tires again.

...They are beautifully quiet, ride incredibly smooth on road and provide all the performance and confidence I need off road...
I absolutely love these tires, after dealing with a ton of noise from the factory mud tires I had to make a change. Bit the bullet and decided to step away from the classic large lugged look of mud tires and went with these KO2's. They are so beautifully quiet, ride incredibly smooth on road and provide all the performance and confidence I need off road. In the snow they almost grip to well and make it hard to play like a 16 year old kid when I find myself alone in an empty parking lot. I have always been told that they are not any good in wet conditions and I have not personally had the same experience. They are not the best when driving into standing water at higher rate speeds, but what tires are good in that scenario. Wet conditions however, cornering is fine, and all the traction needed. All and all I absolutely love these tires. The hype surrounding these tires is real, they are worth every penny. I would recommend to anyone I know and they will be the only tires I will use going forward on my truck.

...Off road, heavy rain, up to 3ft of snow, beach and highway all produce a good grip and smooth ride as I have never been stuck with these.
2nd Round of these tires for my Jeep JK and I am sold. As long as they perform like the last 4 did I will keep this particular tire for the life of my vehicle. Off road, heavy rain, up to 3ft of snow, beach and highway all produce a good grip and smooth ride as I have never been stuck with these.

Longest wearing tires we've ever owned - 62k miles! ... Note - we have a 5-tire set and rotate the spare so I'm sure that added to the tread life.
Longest wearing tires we've ever owned - 62k miles! Considering they are big 35" truck tires they do not sing or hum on the highway. Yet we have had them off-road in some very nasty mud, sand, and deep water. Just fantastic. I'll absolutely buy another set. Note - we have a 5-tire set and rotate the spare so I'm sure that added to the tread life.

...The tire wear is very impressive. The tread measures 13/32nd after 15k miles. ( 15/32nd brand new)...
These are excellent tires for my '22 Crosstrek. The 215 width fits with no rubbing or clearance issues at all with the stock suspension. The tires aren't as nearly as loud as I had expected them to be, and the tire wear is very impressive. The tread measures 13/32nd after 15k miles. (15/32nd brand new). Would definitely recommend these if you're looking for a great A/T tire.
